For a car to have been built back in 1972 with pretty much the same styling as the 80`s Model, this is one of the baddest cars ever built. The body is stylish and keep in mind this is 45 years later, I would love to own one of these jewels !
ROCKO633 Timeless design comes from freedom of design I think. The designers of the era didnt have all the safety compromises to consider which invariably killed purity of design. A golden age cars of which sadly I dont think we will see again.
Very True ! I saw one of these, I`d say 72 or 73 Model in Wilmington N.C. looked like a barn find. it was nasty faded red. going down the highway, still sexy and the sound is pure muscle, an 85 rolled in a gas in King N.C, as it pulled up the beer cooler in store was shaking, sounded like a dragster !
The Pantera had pretty tall gearing -- more intended for all day 100 mph cruising than 1/4 mile sprints. With shorter gearing she'd easily get into the 12s.
Dynos read the coastdown loss and can factor in the actual flywheel hp from the rear wheel hp. At 112 mph, the hp loss of a set of 335 section Pirelli or Avons is about 13 hp alone. The 1.215 factor between rear wheel 424 and 515 hp at the engines flywheel is an accurate assesment of DIN or SAE Net horsepower.
That's considering an over 21% parasitic loss through a manual drivetrain. That's....uh hemmm quite impressive. Also looks like it's been corrected. Some have said, "seeing is believing." In other cases I believe, "hearing is believing."

You can even see it smokin out the pipe like in the show
That Cleveland 4v 351 is a screamer. Big heads move tons of air creating beautiful harmonies.
Excellent motar mate.
I wish!! One day 😍
Thats fuckin nice mate
InTheZone71 sure is, just a shame it's not mine!
These cars have reasonably small fuel tanks so it's not aboutmpg'd but 60 miles to a tank at 4 mpg
Grand Tour.
Nice car. Should've been in the low 12's at least

4.06 Aston got no appeal . Totally agree ,especially against that Pantera there is no competition
these are super nasty with the proper 180 degree headers
I think this is the coolest car ever! (spoiler is a bit too tall tho)
vulgar display of power
1:52 shows 424 hp so where did you get 515 hp then !!!!!?
At the crank.

I'd get a new license plate....
Where's a drone cam when you need one 😒
the Pantera would've been quicker off the line with a better driver.
that's bull shit . my bone stock 330 hp 1972 s/n 4410 ran 13.6 @ 106 mph. NO way in hell that car has 500+ hp
