They now require us to enter a “verification code” to enter. If i try and skip by the code, it won’t let me until i enter the code they give me. If i then try and enter 1330 or one of your other tips, it is “too many callers, blah blah” .
Press 1, verification code, and 330 -- took about 10 tries back to back (same as person below) but I'm waiting on a callback now. Just putting this in so folks know this method is working as of 2/13/24. Thanks!
Anyone get two different automated system voices? One sounds like the one in the video, but there is also a second one where the lady has a lower, muted voice that isn't as upbeat. Wondering if it matters which automated system I get. I've tried with both, but can't get through either way.
@@jankishah783 this actually works. I tried this about 30 minutes after you posted this comment. When you call, immediately press 1and wait for the access code. Enter the access code that is provided when you call, then wait a couple of seconds. then press 3, wait a couple of seconds, then press 0. If it says that the maximum amount of callers were reached, you will have to hang up and try again. I tried calling back for about 15 minutes and I finally got through. Then I was on hold for about and hour. Finally I got a human that I was able to talk to. When you call back, make sure you enter the access code that is provided on the phone call. Each access code is unique to each phone call. Keep trying. Best of luck!!!
@@HitForPower - I am surprised you didn't get the "we can call you back and you won't lose your place in line" I did that quite a few times and they always called me back
impossible to get thru to this agency... I had to drive 100 miles to get a hard application... unbelievable how you have money in an account for one day maybe needing it... and then what they put you thru to get it... But criminals can get your info and collect your money using your name... how does that work?
Not just that. Between 2020 and 2022, Gavin Newsom's head of the EDD knowingly allowed BILLIONS of dollars in UI fraud. People in PRISON were collecting Unemployment! I think it was $89 BILLION, and now she's being put forth for a federal office in DC!
For some weird reason when I call, I keep getting the verification input. So, it will give me a four-digit number and I have to dial it back to the verify. It is 1/18/2024 Thursday 3:28 pm HELP! @WigglyCheese
As of 3/14/24 tried this method and it 100% worked after like 4 calls back to back. Thank you so much. ❤
I called SDI 58 times over a period of 35 minutes and got through finally using your method. Thanks Wiggly!
Your welcome! I’m glad to see the method worked for you. 🙏
Took 8 attempts but I am now on hold with the music- thank you!
I did this at 4:45 PM, and I got in the second time, after calling ALL DAY. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Worked after 17 tries. Talk to a human as I type. Thank you!!!!!!!
I entered 1, then the passcode they tell you, and then 330. It worked great and after two tries I'm on hold for a live person!
Press 1, verification code, and 330…took about 10 tries back to back but i’m waiting on a callback now. Thank you!
It did work 24th times with your method. Thank you so much!
You are awesome, this worked! I called at 8am sharp today, after 9 attempts I got thru and spoke to a very helpful Rep. THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
I’m on hold the first attempt after calling like 40 times the past three days…finally thank you
Three times and I got through. Thank you so much.
It worked on the first attempt. Thank you so much.
This tip no longer works...Verification code required now...message is "too many callers"
This doesn’t work any suggestions it tells me verification code required and when I put it in it says to many callers
This worked on the 3rd try for me! Thank you so much!!!!!
i started getting a "verification # needed" promt after hitting 1 now. They may have patched this.
They now require us to enter a “verification code” to enter. If i try and skip by the code, it won’t let me until i enter the code they give me. If i then try and enter 1330 or one of your other tips, it is “too many callers, blah blah” .
Me too! I thought I was the only one being required to enter a four-digit code (Frustrated)
@@michellealvarado6684 - were you able to get through?
It works, but I keep getting “the maximum number of callers has been reached” message.
Hi there, EDD has significantly changed their phone system and this no longer works. Can you please update it?
I just did it right now 7/26/24 and on hold.
