The double-wall vent was installed backward

Hvacr contractors will never tell u that when come tune up or fix?
If that furnace has an induction blower there's no way the combustion gases can escape, cause there's negative pressure in the flue pipe. Thanks.
If it was leaking out, it would trip pressure switch as safety. Those stains are from flue gas condensing, it’s losing its heat too quickly.
What does the vent pipe have to do with not enough air supply for combustion?
Those were two separate issues. This video was done a long time ago, so I don’t remember all the specifics.

No it vented outside with metal pipe.
