Do you FRY chicken in a pan? That's how they do it in the south. About an inch or two, flip them over. Same with the French Toast, in a skillet, in the grease, if you want it to be fucking GOOD and not like the trash you have been exposed to.

Bob, give the Black Bear Diner a try. It’s located way down south Las Vegas Blvd by the South Outlet mall. They have a tasty steak n egg breakfast plate. 🥩🍳
Isn't there one around Charleston and Decatur? Never have been in any of their locations. The food looks good but I simply can't eat the ultra processed foods/carbs, it is simply hot conducive to good health. Perhaps eggs and bacon would be good. No doubt a local place and not a chain, and as always, "buy local" if possible.

French Toast is NOT typically deep fried. It's normally cooked on a griddle, exactly how the waitress explained they're doing it.

I just had the Monte Christo at Cheesecake Factory and it was grilled as well, soggy and flavorless.
Would not recommend trying it there.
We have a couple Blueberry Hill Restaurants in Indianapolis, not sure if its the same chain or not.
Looks like the Monte Christo I am used to. Very yummy. Just needs some jam with it.
