Love the videos. When ever I grill or fry my hot dog or hamburgers on the stove top I put a lid over the hot dog or hamburger and it cooks it faster and perfect ever time and plus the lid prevents the grease from splattering and popping everywhere.
I prefer Sabrett hot dogs over Hebrew National due to the fact that they don't shrink as much when you cook them, and they have a slightly better taste.
I have never tried the split dog method. I'll definitely try it next time I cook a dog. Also have you ever tried honey on a grilled cheese. OMG if you haven't tried it you must. I know it sounds weird but trust me it's super dank especially with a sharp cheddar cheese
Nice video and I love that griddle. Not a huge fan of skinless hot dogs and I always use split top buns. I do not understand all the fuss about ketchup. It is fine and if you grew up on the east coast it was always put on hot dogs.
Looked good. A reuben with some grilled kraft on marbled rye or a smash burger parry melt were my to favorite griddle items when I worked in a restaurant
It's good to make the best hot dog possible. That's always the goal. I bet those street vendors make some mean bacon wrapped Hot dogs eh? That's what you forgot bro. BACON!! 😋
How about a good taco?? What are the meat ans spices you use? I like a good peppered ground beef and a flour tortilla heated right on the stove top burner.
Throw Down A Good Chili Bob! Something You Can Lay Down On Some Chili Cheese Nachos Chili Cheeseburgers Chili Cheese Dogs Chili Cheese Fries!!! Plus I’ve never made a chili before so you’d be helping me out BIG TIME! And I’d thank you so kindly if you ever do my good sir🤘
NM I just remembered, it has never been on this channel, it was on the other one a long time ago. Who cares though, I still love them so thanks again Bob.🙏🤘
There’s lots of stuff to put on a hotdog like chili and sauerkraut and catch up. The list goes on and on. Grilled hotdog look good. Hotdogs are the easiest
Gene and Jude's hot dog with fries on top and a one-in a million shake and some ketchup for the fries, from CockRobin nextdoor. Yes, I know CockRobin isn't there anymore and Thirsty whale is only a memory too.
bratwurst would be good in those buns also. slow cook in beer with lots of onions and then grill with onions and load on the bun. Dammit you said beer brats at about 9:30.
Bob remember the hebrew national hot dog commercial in the 80s. No artificial flavors" Hebrew hot dogs We have to answer to even a higher authority" Uncle Sam. Lol 😂 I think the hebrew dogs, Nathan's, and Big Costco dogs are the best. Anything ballpark maked is lower class 🤮. Make some beer brats with onions and peppers grey poupon mustard in your RR. 😂
Nothing wrong with grilling a dog, especially if it's one of those cheap pork/chicken things. But a quality all-beef dog is best boiled, just like most pros do it. It's best served on a hot dog bun -- not one of those heavy rolls you're using. That's way too much bread, which is probably why you're looking for the extra flavor that comes from browning the dog. Sorry, Bob. 👎
6:19 ooooh Bob Honeybunny again, I love when Honeybunny just showed up to destruct Bob 😂😂😂😂😂😂and his reaction every time to her is priceless
Grilled dogs rock!! 🌭

Damn that looks killer. My favorite sandwich to make on the flat top is a Ruben. So good.

In Chicago that would be about $3.50. $10 in the rest of the US. Looks great Bob.

I always thought bob was a wiener specialist
ask your Mom, she knows.
@@RobertMoseley Said it wasnt a wiener it was more like a shriveled cocktail sausage, said say thanks though, never laughed so hard in her life! 🤏🍤

Hot dogs must be served on a toasted square bun. Yeah you guys that know, agree I am right.
Yes a New England style bun!

So, squeezing all the juice out of that meat for a dry chewy beef jerky like texture.
Why can’t you use a cast iron skillet?
you can
