Pancreatic cancer has a very small recovery chance. It is also one of the least funded for research. They need all the help they can get. The survival rate is only around 10%
Dude, those people walked _through_ the foam pit to get to the platform. They likely slid their feet along the concrete to shift the foam and not fall over. But they never considered it was way too shallow to jump?? It's kind of like walking through shallow water and then diving head first into that shallow water. Not blaming the victim, just blaming their lack of common sense and self preservation.
I broke my back in 4 places in a fall from a helicopter from about 3 to 5 meters in the Army and my life was utterly ruined. It cost me my career, constant pain, 70+ spinal procedures including a fusion of my entire lower spine inititally, replacement of the hardware 10 years laters, adding additional fusions to that massive fused bone and a neck fusion. I live in constant neverending pain and am 100% disabled. I went from being in amazing shape and looking at a long, very good career to spending my days in bed squirming around in agony. What they did here is unforgivable. Its criminal negligence. Nobody is so dumb as to think a few cubes of foam will protect people from falling on a concrete floor without any padding. I sincerely hope she sues them into bankruptcy. She will never be the same again.
@@noodlepoodlegirl well, I told my story only to illustrate how utterly debilitating a broken or damaged spine can be. These people saw multiple, serious injuries on their "attraction" yet kept it open so that more people could get injured. Its the height of malfeasance. Even in the Army when we see something isnt working or people are getting hurt or worse we either stop doing it or we adjust the activity to increase safety. These people did nothing and took no steps to increase safety. Theyre criminally negligent IMO. Thank you all however, for the well wishes. It is appreciated. As a side, I have to go get corticol steroids injected into my inflamed socriliac joint (thats your rear bone that links your hips and spine) next week because this injury is just the gift that keeps on giving. Yay. This is what she has to look forward to, for life.
I recently took my chihuahua on a plane. I kept her in the bag and under the seat. They told me multiple times to keep the dog in the bag. So not once did I confuse the message or dare challenge them. i was just grateful to get where i was going and that I was allowed to bring the dog at all in a passenger area. People like this are going to make airlines implement that all dogs go with the luggage.
Do they not check your bags or make you use a kennel before you board in america? That's bizarre lmfao I live in canada and they have alot of security and like 3 layers of interacting with staff and we didn't even have a 9/11 sitch here
I still wouldn't want to be on a plane with a yappy little shit like a nasty chihuahua! I just want to drop kick it over the fence and send them flying, and other similar oversized rats. I like REAL dogs. One that barks. If your dog can't bark, it's not a dog. At best, it's a chew toy for my beautiful handsome big boy black lab.
@@PBMS123 that's a lie if they pass the vaccine check, are below the weight limit, and in a carrier they're allowed in the passenger area. as it is policy on every other airline outside sketchy ones like spirit

I was told I’d never walk again & had to do a year of chemo, a month of radiation, multiple surgeries & hours & hours of physical & occupational therapy. Bro, my dad slipped a disk and hes never been the same. Obviously it's nowhere's near as bad as what happened to your dad but back injuries are serious.
As someone who’s taken a dog on a plane, if it’s not a service animal, you have to keep the pet in the pet carrier. My dog was upset and scared, so i put the carrier on my lap, stuck my hand in the carrier and pet her. Flight attendants didn’t say anything to me.
Was on a flight sitting in aisle seat with a couple in the other two seats. They had a small dog and lady was next to me in the middle seat had the dog on her lap to comfort him. She had a little blanket for him so as not to make to obvious. As I was getting my seat belt on, I noticed the dog and I think the lady was worried that I would complain. She seemed very relieved to see that I thought the dog was super cute and it was good to have him there to comfort him. What she didn't know is having the dog there actually help calm my anxiety. During take off she did put him in his carrier under the seat and later got him out to keep him on her lap with a very small light blanket to coverhim if needed. I'm very glad the fight attendants either didn't notice or didn't care. Having him there made the flight better.
@@KMF-nj8kr I'm guessing the woman in the video wasn't nearly as respectful, and when you break the rules right in their faces, they have to do something.
Thank you so much for being responsible, I have a service dog and it really means a lot when people have your mindset. I love animals, and if they’re well behaved I’m not bothered, my dog is trained to ignore them. However, I’ve never seen so many aggressive pets being brought into public, my dog has been attacked twice by them. People think emotional support animals with no training have the same rights as service dogs, but they don’t. What I can’t understand, is if they want to fake a service dog, why do they choose dogs that are chainsaws on legs?😅
I don't think you did one thing wrong, but fr fr I saw a video just recently about a woman who did exactly that, exactly and was thrown off spirit airlines and the people that spoke up in support of her were thrown off too! Terrible
The lady in the car is a pretty common interaction I'll have at the bar I work at (it's in a hotel that hosts events that draw this type). They're the most dangerous. Two drinks and they turn the corner big time, because they're loaded with prescription pills. I never accuse them of that, but often when I cut them off I get the "oh my God seriously?! I only had two drinks! It's not like I'm on drugs or something!" Hint: that usually means that pocketbook is mostly full of painkillers. Whenever I train a new bartender, I have to remind them that it doesn't necessarily matter how many drinks they've had. It could be half of one. Some people can't handle their "cocktails."
@Dante Toshiro64 I survived pancreatic cancer thanks to a Whipple surgery and her actions are unacceptable. I also got put on a massive amount of opioids but I stopped driving and got the bus and taxis
The problem is they don't see prescription drugs as actual drugs because they received them legally, even though it could be argued that prescription drugs are just as or even more damaging than illegal drugs because of how people see and treat them differently.

Foam pit is brutal. I feel heartbroken for that girl, she didn't deserve that. Reading comments, spinal injuroes are common and devestating. Take care of yourselves people.
I hope she fully recovers and it doesn't affect he mobility. I had a motorbike accident where I flipped over the handlebars and landed on my arse and ive been paralysed ever since.
I've worked in the medical field for 15 years, and yes that type of injury will literally always hurt her every day for the rest of her life. Whoever was in charge of that should face criminal charges, not just a massive lawsuit.
I don't, and, yes, yes she does deserve it (having ruined other people's lives in the past) it's called Karma, and when it hits, it hits like a truck full of wasps.
@@mrs.h2725 On what ground, on ground on jumping from a place that she could both see and feel was going to end badly? She could feel the concrete beneath her feet, and there had been reported several accidents and injuries before she decided to try her luck with it, so that's entirely her own fault. Now, is Twitch responsible too? Absolutely, the pit should have been far deeper, have been filled up with foam, and have been closed down till it was. But, at the end of the day, she should still have known better, and so that lawsuit likely isn't going to go anywhere (plus the fact that Twitch is owned and run by Amazon - one of the richest and most powerful companies in the world) so chances are that they had her (and all of the other participants) sign a contract that stated that they could not be held liable for any damages that then occurred.
I'm actually SO MAD about that Foam pit story and the fact that they are trying to push off responsibility and trying to blame the victims getting injured. This is actually horrendous. Utterly horrendous.
I hope the lady who injured her back in the foam pit sues. A back injury is life-changing even after you heal, and it's going to take a long time and a lot of money to heal. The fact they left it after others were injured and the fact they made that pit so shallow in the first place, it's like they were hoping to be sued.
I flew to New Orleans to pick up my ChowChows puppy and had to fly back with him. They are very strict and rightfully so, about keeping your dog in his kennel while onboard. I couldn't believe the side view of the pit. I wonder if she saw it or had forgotten how shallow it was in the moment when she was happy to win. I can't fathom the chronic pain of a back injury, especially at a time when doctors aren't willing to prescribe adequate pain relief. How much extra would the proper amount of foam have cost, probably for less than her med bills. I'm sorry you have to deal w that type of pain.

@Patrick Gragg the trampoline parks have a lot of really hard shit just barely covered by small foam pads. People love flipping in those places, just looks like a room full of potential serious injuries
I can see "trusting someone to know what they're doing" only in cases where it's not OBVIOUS that you'll hit that concrete floor unless you land perfectly flat. Are you really that clueless not to see that, the way the depth of the foam part is FAR too shallow and the foam chunks don't prevent you from 'extra penetration' by the voids between them? The vast majority of the fault is with the idiots who built this and even 'thought' it was ok, but any person should have the common sense to see this was a literal death trap and back-breaker even just by looking at how it's designed. Idjits built it and idjits cluelessly used it.
I flew with my dog when she was a puppy. She was tiny and weighed like 3 lbs. I bought her a kennel and had to pay almost the same amount for a “ticket” for her that I did for myself. I did take her out and she flew in my lap the whole way. She slept almost the entire time. No one complained. Most didn’t even notice. But if they’d asked me to put her back into the kennel I would have without making a scene like this.
Where is the kennel? I'm terrified to take my dog on a plane. A flight attendant here in Australia made a lady put her French bulldog in the luggage carrier above and well it didn't make it to the end of the flight naturally. 😑
Not positive but I believe the man sitting next to her was allergic to dogs. I also am an animal lover but most animals give off more dander when they are young and growing.

Adult women with pigtails.... Thats a red flag

Pills are a serious danger. There's so many people dependant on them and super willing to do stuff like this it's insane

I've worked in the medical field for 15 years, and yes that type of injury will literally always hurt her every day for the rest of her life. Whoever was in charge of that should face criminal charges, not just a massive lawsuit.

But, at the end of the day, she should still have known better, and so that lawsuit likely isn't going to go anywhere (plus the fact that Twitch is owned and run by Amazon - one of the richest and most powerful companies in the world) so chances are that they had her (and all of the other participants) sign a contract that stated that they could not be held liable for any damages that then occurred.

the back injury story is so horrific. i don't care about twitch at all but i feel so so so bad for the girls that got injured.
Twitch could have looked like a really “good guy” if they would have just commented how horrible it was and that they would definitely pay her medical surgeries and hospital stay. They definitely have enough money.
@Luka Tim Still would've looked good on Twitch's part, it was their convention, and offering to help with medical bills would've made everyone see them as a hero.
It's more ebout effecting their stock and public image to accept fault and liability. Which can open them up to further lawsuits by citing this as an example. So it has to be handled in court. Plus it's an co. Under the Amazon umbrella you think they'd do something to be "nice"?? LMAO
They are the good guys, they let porn stream freely on their site for everyone to watch 🤓👍🤡💀 (yes that’s sarcasm, and the emojis are directed towards twitch obviously)
You think a company ever thinks they have enough money…?
@@Windchard this should be pinned
We own a dealership and my husband would have me drive some sketchy shit home like a motor home on a windy, windy day. The police officer who pulled me over asked if I was on drugs...because the door kept flying open and id swerve to shut it.
Dude...I wish I was. 😂
She’s got a damn good negligence suit against Twitch.
Good timing, her porn career was as good as over.
sounds like a class-action possibility, sadly
Profound stupid isn't twitches responsibility
He killed himself last year so....
@@lorig4871is there event they are responsible
I'm a former Skydive coach... I can tell you, waivers aren't worth the paper they are printed on. They are meant to scare people into believing they are useful. And that's about the only real protection they provide in a real lawsuit situation.
Exactly especially in CALIFORNIA
I had a bad accident at the National Comps about 30yrs ago where a guy went in front of me at 300ft & collapsed my canopy. I had a #ed pelvis, leg & vertebrae. Fortunately at that time you could get accident insurance for parachuting. (This company soon realised it wasn't fiscally possible to cover the sport). They paid my wages for time spent recuperating & a lump sum (not much but I managed to buy a new rig). This whole thing was an accident & the bloke involved was devastated. Where was your DZ? I've been to a few in USA. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Waviers only make you think it's legal mumbo jumbo. Reality, lawyers laugh at them.
The fact that that foam pit was still open after it was clearly a hazard.
You could say twitch is at the "bottom of the barrel"
Even if someone just fell from those platforms, they could EASILY get horrifically injured. Twitch fk'd up.
Omg that poor girl and her back. I hope she makes a full recovery
OMG I feel so sorry for her, read up further on what she's going through with her back and it's just all out awful.
I hope Twitch gets CRUCIFIED for this!🤬
That lady with the car is having the worst day of her life 😂
I feel really bad for Adriana because a broken back that way will likely cause long term chronic pain.
*But everybody KNEW it wasn't a pit because they walked through the foam to get to the platforms... The injured people absolutely won't win any lawsuits because of that and the waiver.*
That injury is devastating. Negligence is not protected by signing a waiver. Especially with injuries the previous day.
I had that exact spinal injury plus two broken heels as a kid when my dog pulled me down 17 stairs and I jumped to the bottom... Watching this video makes all of that pain come back 😫 That POOR girl...
I sat next to a person with a service dog (i think it was) on a plane and it was lowkey dope, they were like “oh sorry she really likes people” and i just got to pet a dog the whole flight lol. Nobody even said anything to that person so this lady definitely did something before the video started
A service dog has different rules. If their owner has a condition that the dog needs to alert them to, they can’t perform in a crate. Plus usually are too large for lap or under seat place. Plus they are hugely trained to behave.
Had a woman bring up her father "Just dying" as the reason for her emotional instability and the resulting action of her stealing a handicap parking space from the disabled Vet female in front of Walgreens. Several people were confronting her about her legally healthy ass (She was in her 30's, about 100lbs overweight and extremely pasty except on her face which was covered in the typical too much makeup) from a person with a Sideramp equipped van who'd waited for the space to become clear?!?!? Somewhere in her excuse stream she leaked out that her father had actually died over 2 FREAKING YEARS AGO!!!
Whenever I see stuff like this I think, “Shit, I should’ve recorded this, Leon would love this”….but my wife won’t let me record her when she acts like this. (In case my wife sees this, I’m joking sweetheart).
haha nice one dwayne
god i’d be depressed if i were you lol
I don't give a fuck enough to record people's shit.
🤣🤣🤣
Thankfully I’m married to the anti-Karen, instead of ‘asking for the manager’ because there’s a problem, she apologizes. Gets the wrong order, she apologizes, thinking she must have unclear, gets cut off, she must’ve been in their blind spot, JW’s or Mormons come to the door, will listen to them for a half hour, as she doesn’t want to be rude (drives me absolutely nuts).
They definitely have grounds for a lawsuit.
She signed a waiver man and the other point she didn't even do any sort of check of the foam pit before hand like diving into shallow water your asking for injuries. Do you yanks just go and jump into shit and not check depths?
@@Yourmumsrectum waivers don’t mean shit when it’s not built correctly dumbass
@@Yourmumsrectum bro, waivers don't cover negligence she can absolutely sue
@@malan873 I'm not your bro and you don't seem to understand you sign a waiver you sign away negligence and can't sue for it. Why do you think they have waivers champ?
@@Yourmumsrectum my guy, since bro doesn't work for you, in many states waivers don't mean shit if it was a case of gross negligence, which clearly is the case here since they didn't close the pit after the first injury. You sign a waiver to take responsibility but then they have to have it be SAFE.
Poor girl! Her back is never going to be the same 🥺
Oh my gosh, this guy is the BEST ! Great vids, great personality, would love to have him as a neighbor. Spot on calling it as it is and terrific sense of humor.
The guy recording 3 feet away: starts sweating nervously
You can fly with small dogs as long as they stay in their carrier, not sure if all airlines allow this though
And the dog was probably loud or poorly trained
@@tweenytwinkies she admitted that she had the dog on her lap. she, seemingly, took the dog out of the carrier, breaking the rules in the process.

I feel sorry for Anyone who breaks their back! I broke mine when I was serving in the US Coast Guard & had to have it fussed in two locations. It was the hardest or one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through! I still live in constant pain & I wouldn’t wish this on anybody! It’s extremely painful & completely debilitating since you use your back for just about everything you do! I hope she recovers 100% and won’t have any lingering issues from it! It’s one thing breaking your back serving in the military but would totally suck if you did it doing something stupid! Prayers out for her!🙏
I think it's because she didn't have her dog in an approved, appropriate pet carrier.
*Just after adding comment, the guy told her, at about 5:20 into runtime, that she wasn't following their must-keep-animals-in-kennel policy.
“ This is a Christian channel. I am not going to entertain this type of hedonism “ I just want to say you are truly a witty and funny guy. I’m grateful I found your channel. It’s been a rough year and I always know I can count on your videos to cheer me up ❤✨
Also I’m wondering if the car lady had dementia? Like my boyfriend’s grandma should NOT be driving 😳
Ive had this surgery 20 years ago. I had 11 vertibra fused. The surgery took 12 hours. This surgery is no joke. It was a full year of recovery. Now I can do almost everything minus stuff like yoga or golf. But also now I have arthritis in my neck and lower back because of it.
But can you still squirt?
Omg I feel terrible. God bless.
@@KerReeeee my surgery was T1- T11 so my surgery was higher up than hers. I assuming hers was in the lumbar section lower down. So I never had any issues with my lower extremities.
Always like Christmas morning when I see a new brain worms Leon post.
My daughters first day at campus had a foam pit. She stepped in not realizing it was filled to top of staircase. She fell atraight down concrete staircase and tore up her leg
She also had to terminate her pregnancy because of the invasive surgeries she had to go through. I am so crushed for her, I really hope he is able to have a baby in the future.

@@rayy__7630 that porn money would've gave that kid a good life, bet you wouldn't say that about a dad who worked in porn. All our parents fuck, but the difference is this mom did it on camera and made bank.
@@rayy__7630 that’s so shortsighted.
@@givemeahappyending it’s realistic. Kids are now being bullied into suicide attempts because they’re moms are prostitutes online
Not to mention places like sky zone make you sign waivers to jump into the foam pit, but they make them deep enough that you don’t shatter your spine. This is negligence at its finest.
i love the airline employee with the “you don’t want none of this” all quiet
I had a job out of the labor pool for a day to do some work at a gymnastics school. One thing was we cleaned the foam pit out and replaced all the foam. It was 5 and a half feet deep and they let us have a little fun jumping into it. They would have been better off with wood chips and just a 6 inch high pedestal instead of a 2 foot foam pit!
the dog from the airplane has to have the best behaviour not to be noticed in her bag, it's probably smarter then her too :)
Every time I see that foam pit vid, I ache so badly for her. I have a ruptured disc and I can't imagine how much pain she was in when she landed in that foam. The shock melts away to agony reaaaally freakin quick.
My back injury the sound of it still haunts me over a decade later. Sounded like that crackling snap when you break a wooden broom handle, and my vision instantly went white. I was so out of t from the pain I couldn't understand that the annoying screaming was me.
@@-Ghostess Hrrrrrk god, that's what nightmares are made of. I got lucky in mine. I just bent over and felt a small pop when the disc ruptured. It only hurt later. And then the flare ups just kept getting worse. I remember being trapped in my car for four hours because the back spasms were so intense I couldn't move. Every time I did, the pain went to that white space. I never want to experience that again.
I'm going to be real here and want to tell you I've seen people on some of your videos that had me take a better look at myself and my character and make some adjustments. I just recently discovered your channel and you're funny as f***, I love it man!
My last flight, the same exact thing happened where a lady put the dog on her lap during the flight. The crew told her to please put the dog in the kennel- if it’s not a service dog. However, the woman on my flight handle it MUCH differently lol. It was a peaceful start to our flight. 😂
Yeah Leon. Pets are allowed in the carrier and sometimes under the seat. Never on your lap ! Lol
Bet if she just apologized and put him back they would let it slide.
It's dangerous for those little pets, those seat creases could snap a leg. A good pet owner understands they need to be in the carrier.
My dog is a big boy, he gets to take a nap in the luggage area or wherever lol!
My parents never let me go into those foam pits or ball pits. Of course, growing up in NYC there was that common urban myth of them being filled with needles and who knows what else. As an adult. If I ever felt the urge to do this, I def wouldn't be doing it at a Twitch convention.
Think about how much human disease is definitely in a ball pit tho? Children who aren’t bathed and touch everything in NYC? I’m surprised they aren’t banned bc covid
the needles were very common in like the mid 2000's it wasn't a myth addicts would bring their kids shoot up and often have the needle fall out when they picked their kid up out the pit
When I was a kid I used to go crazy every time I saw a ball pit begging my dad to let me go in.
He told me as a child that other kids poop in the ball pit. Permanently soiled my love for ball pits right then and there and nowadays I have severe germ phobia need to wear latex gloves when I use the bathroom. Thanks Dad.
@@vinnyseed1142 "permanently soiled" ;)
Coming from someone with multiple spine and back injuries, I truly feel for her because she's going to be in pain the rest of her life
I broke my tailbone when I was about 9, and almost 23 years later I can't sit flat on a hard surface. Even in a chair, I have to use a special pillow so my tailbone doesn't start hurting. This place could absolutely still be sued, because even though they signed waivers, the structure was beyond dangerous and the creators should have known that.
As someone who has had 2 back surgeries and 3 neck surgeries, my heart really goes out to Adriana. I’m sure she’s young, and she’ll never be the same again. I remember my own moment where my life changed completely after my injury. I really hope that she gets a fantastic lawyer and gets some serious compensation. It may not change her situation, but some accountability needs to take place with that insane foam “pit”.
When I traveled in February with a small dog they tell you that the dog needs to be inside the carrier during the flight
You can have all the waivers and signs but if you can prove gross negligence, they mean nothing.
