    The dealership not only has a libel and slander suit, the fact that she made threats and demanded compensation is the very definition of extortion. I hope the dealership presses every charge they can against her then sues her.

    • @jasonbender2459
      @jasonbender2459 Рік тому +12

      (1) Libel only applies to things in print, like newspapers. (2) your definition of extortion is incomplete. (3) Suing her would be throwing god money after bad. she is judgement proof currently.

      New libel rules in my state cover things said in video "published on websites as equivalent as print" and extortion is defined here as demanding money or compensation under duress or pressure. But you are probably right, still having her arrested and have a record would be good enough for me.

      @@CalicoShadowPlusCat Which state compleetely upended the definition of libel?

    • @CalicoShadowPlusCat
      @CalicoShadowPlusCat Рік тому +91

      Mississippi Defamation Laws state that Libel is a false malicious statement in photos, signs, writing or other published media that includes video, advertisements, or broadcast recordings. It does not cover slander through third party relation or heresay but through repeated publication of a known falsehood. Videos and websites count as publication from how it was explained to me.

      @@jasonbender2459Not anymore. In California It's print, radio and TV. Online is being added. California allows retractions to nullify a plaintiff's lawsuit. But she refused to retract and even tried extortion. If you go online you'll see States that allow Defamation and Libel suits for social media posts. Defamation happens When someone makes a false statement about you verbally or in writing that damages your reputation. Verbal defamation is called slander. Written defamation is called libel.

      @@TheRealTrueCrimeAnalyst You’d be surprised how many people are like that. No longer an officer but when I was on patrol and had to remove people from private businesses (or residences but usually businesses were worse) they would always act like they could just say “You can’t touch me” like some magic phrase and afterwards we aren’t allowed to touch them or do anything to them. Then they would really fight back and keep screaming “IM NOT RESISTING IM NOT RESISTING STOP” and be super dramatic in order to get a response from those in the area. Sorry Karen, Getting arrested for not leaving a Walmart trashing the area and disrespecting employees isn’t going to be the next great outrage against the police.

She then went on Facebook to trash us, saying because she’s a single mom and a woman we probably upped our prices. Our prices for duct cleanings are fixed and also depend on how many you want done. She was put in her place by customers of ours that are in the same Facebook group that we’re in fact woman owned and have been woman owned for two generations. I’m so thankful to our customers for sticking up for us in the group and the lady deleted her post. What really bothered me was that instead of contacting us to discuss the price, etc, she decided to blast us and falsely accuse us of misogyny

Also if she was telling the truth and her mom actually refused to help every time she got into stupid shit, she would probably go on a live rant accusing her mother of being a terrible parent who isn't there for her and is emotionally abusive or whatever etc. etc. I highly doubt that her mom is proud of her behavior and isn't intentionally encouraging her to act like a total fucking ass online. 2. She finds karate fun and i do not force her to do it

The rest of my family and I really can’t be around her without her hurling abuse at us, and the last time we let her stay with us she not only put a hole in a wall and window, but beat a box fan against the door my dad had just gone through after saying she would kill my dad, then herself. Following this, she proceeds to pull food out of the fridge and throw it all around the room. My parents and I are also practicing Christians, so just to hurt us more she poured hot sauce over a Bible we kept in her room, as well as destroyed one of my mom’s favorite books on angels.

    Tip of the day: when planning to pay in cash at a dealership, do not let them know thats your plan. Have them run the numbers for you, pretending you'll be getting financing. The "price tag" will come down, because they think they're getting interest over time which means they make a bunch more in the long run. Then when you get that price, you tell them "ok I'll take it at that price but I'm paying cash".

      You are 100% on point. I am a mother of three. My 2 oldest are now 24 and 25 years old, and I have an almost 2 year old baby...yes I'm nuts.
      I have always believed that my job was to raise successful adults, and I mean successful..like being good citizens, responsible, honest, sound self esteem, good morals, having healthy relationships, etc.
      I definitely had my work cut out for me with my son when he was young. Sadly, I was a single mother back then... and my boy needed a good male role model... and all he had was me. When he was a child, I found he had stolen 300 dollars from me. I was a bartender, and 20 or so at a time was easy to miss. I saw his whole life flash before my eyes...a thief...well not if I could help it, so I called the police. It was all I could think to do to ensure he grasped the severity of his actions and to k ow that ruining his life would not be tolerated. Thr cop did come and put the fear of God in both of us because he said he didn't need me to press charges for him to arrest given the amount that had been stolen. I had to pull the cop aside and begged him not to arrest my child.. he was only 10!!!! I was, to be honest, mad at the cop for doing that. I was a single mother raising a boy... I needed a male authority figure to help! And instead, he scared the shit out of me!!! But, in the end, he didn't arrest my son, and my son did learn his lesson. I am proud to say he is now 25...is not a drug user or criminal.. he works hard with long-term employment as he's been with his company since high school. He's a married homeowner with 2 children of his own. He's a health nut and staunch conservative. He prizes self-accountability and moral conviction above all things and takes his family to church.
      People were mad at me for calling the cops on him, but I stand behind doing so, especially being a female trying to raise a man. And what a man he is. I am so proud😍 and very blessed as I know so many people with drug addicted kids or failure to launch living in their basements playing video games....but raising good kids takes balls...you have to be willing to risk them being mad at you or even not liking you....being liked is not your job...giving them the tools to craft happy lives for themselves is your job amd you got to love them enough to risk being the bad guy.

      @@jeffwarren6906 True words, jeffwarren! True, true words.
      And you only get one shot at it.
      One shot, and then it's over and they're grown and your job as "the parent" is, for all practical purposes, over.
      Parenting is the most exhausting, heartbreaking job you'll ever have, but a more IMPORTANT job than parenting, you will NEVER have. It's hard and often it's thankless and it's expensive in every sense of that word; many days it'll take everything you have, just to hang in there and keep going. But if you slack off because it's too hard, and you're too tired, and you just don't want to hold the line anymore because it's just so darn hard, that's when your weakness and laziness will manifest in your child's behavior.
      And you're so right: some people just aren't cut out for the grueling task of "parenting". That's because they are lazy, weak, selfish, and self-absorbed - and they frequently produce lazy, weak, selfish, self-absorbed offspring who cannot function in society because growing up, they were never taught how to live Life on life's terms.

      This is my hometown. Don’t let this video fool you. It’s a shit show here, and the RCMP are limited on what they are allowed to do to clean it up. They were really decent with that little witch. All that screaming is an act on her part, she did not get tased, and she turned it off the second they stood her up so she could start flapping her gums again. There’s a video of the actual takedown circulating out there.
