You should try out the top right lake system with the sand in the middle. Put a tripod in the center and you can hit fallow and hogs in drink and feed times. Follow is nuts in the morning drink time! When you set up your pod make sure its as close to center as possible and you can literally shoot around it clockwise to relieve pressure
#3 just north of the road is where I have a tree stand and took out 11 sika and one red deer in about an hour, with a bow. That's how close they got, hardly needed the caller.
This is perfect!! i can confirm most of this already just from the short time ive been on my map, the Chamios location is just insane, its electric! can not wait to try the river complex!! the perfect man for a guide! you always have the best guides out there!!
Your No. 1 spot just west of the bridge is where i had my two level 5 goats in the same herd. Video will be awesome help for new people and even us older folks! Great as always. Yeesss suurrr.
I’m a bit late for this but number one that is were I shot my first and my biggest red deer Also first and biggest goat I’ve hunted to much there so I’m letting it cool off but for the first week of hunting there was never not something there and there is always level 7 red deer
I realised that Te Awaroa aren't lake dependant, meaning most of the animals groups inland and on the river banks.. Most of the lakes are empty all day, except the north east which is the fallow lake
I sat in a tree at the mudflats location for far too long, and did not see or even hear a single freaking animal. What the hell. 0400-0900 and nothing!
This was exactly what i was looking for! Thank you Mr B!!!
Pleasure!!!
