Great video lady and Ntagonize love the collab. The information you guy share with the community is awesome and I’m thankful for that. Hope to see a hunt collab soon! Keep up the great work!
I have to say... after watching this video I realized it had been a very long time since I shot an Albino or Melanistic. I've been doing my Whitetail Great One grind in Layton, and I've only been getting Piebald spawns. So armed with the info in this video I set out looking for Roosevelt Elk drink zones. I think I have found 90% of them, but no rares... Then I started looking for Moose drink zones, found most of them, and then.... Piebald, lol. Still happy to have him. So the next animal I figured I better check for is Blacktail. Literally 3 drink zones into Blacktail and I found a Melanistic doe! After recovering her, I decided to put the "theory" to the test. I started up my Whitetail Grind and voila! Literally my first rotation, and there is a Melanistic Whitetail buck! Unbelievable! Thank you so much for this info!
I’m probably gonna try this next time I grind something! I’m guessing this happens because when a rare is killed, the rare fur is transferred onto a different animal within a certain time frame, but the rare can only spawn on a respawned animal. So if you only shoot red deer, if you had shot an albino of something beforehand, the fur would have no choice but to transfer onto a red deer because those are the only animals respawning. Just a theory on how that all works if it’s true!
Makes sense, i just started playing again, i started on fallow on Te Awaroa. That map is now infested with piebald mallards, but when gringing fallow i shot 1 piebald mallard, and the seco d run after that i had a lvl 4 piebald fallow in my best zone.
Speaking of theories thanks to you @LadyLegendXO I'm now a firm believer in heard management. I started using it about 120 kills into my Red deer grid with no trophies. In the following 300 kills I got 9 diamonds and a 6 piebald. I'm sure that was a little lucky on the rng but the amount of lvl 7 and 8 stags I'm seeing is night and day different from what I was seeing. Also I have groomed some of my tougher to hunt heards so they're all lvl 4 or smaller so I can just skip them. Makes my runs way more efficient. Really appreciate all you do to inform us of things like this!
This definitely works, thanks now I’ve became addicted to the game again and in the process of redoing my lodge. Thanks your vid is the most real vid out I’ve seen on this.
I’ve been dying to grind for Piebald Whitetails/and or Blacktails. About 2/4 Blacktails on this single ridge I’ve been hunting at are Piebald Blacktails. I’ve been really wanting some Piebald Deer in my lodge, so thank you for making to easy on me!

Interesting theory, I will experiment with this and let you know what I discover. I'm still setting up all my maps and I'm fairly new to this game, but we'll see I guess.
I have stated the kill nothing below a level 6 for my grind. I have gotten 22 Mythicals in 7 days and finally got a Legendary on Saturday! But now most zones have just females or level 3-5s. I haven't found any rares for any species yet to try this theory.
It can take hundreds of kills to happen but should happen eventually. It isn't going to be instant so you have to be patient. Just keep shooting and see what happens...
@LadyLegendXO so what do I do about all my zones having just females or level 3s and 4s? Do I kill off the female herds? Do I start taking out the lower level 3s and 4s? Willl that start spawning larger Red Deer?
I'm curious. Does this method work only within the same map, or if I killed an Albino wildebeest, and I grind saltwater crocodile for the next couple of weeks, would the Albino be more likely to spawn as a croc?
Thats rlly wierd, ive played the hunter verg nonchalantly for 3.5 years, never targeted or grinded any specific animals just kida shot what was there and i think the sheer number of veriety of animals ive shot have respawned as rares. So shoot more of every animal ig.
Just got the game, been playing for a day or two now and I’ve gotten my first rare fur and it was a female mallard duck and it was piebald nothing to crazy but I was happy with it
I've had something similar happening before. I was hunting salt water crocs and foxes on the beach in emerald coast and then came across a albino fox and then after shooting it I came across a albino croc
I have a good strategy for it as well, luck. I have started a week ago, i already shot a female albino red deer, and a level 7 albino red deer, i was just going grinding, and there they were, and i got them in the same day.
He said that's cute lmao 🤣 so I started a grind and I have has a piebald a mela and a albino spawn in one rotation . I have spawned at least 20 rares in a very short time .
Btw it seems like the theory works because I killed a melanistic moose and after that I killed a Lynx, later the same day I found a melanistic Lynx👍🏼 Thank for this theory
Update Lady, killed female Hind piebald on Grind. Continued grinding about 2nd run without shooting anything else but Red Deer. Spawned a mela this system works, anxious to see what else spawns in continued runs of this grind.
I tried this for moose on the Medved-Taiga map. Side Note-I was on my multiplayer map with only my husband hunting male moose. I spawned a melanistic male moose from that point we killed male moose, only no females. The next spawn was NOT MELANISTIC but PIEBALD male moose. I was wondering if this didn't work because I was on multiplayer? I have a few questions. If I spawn a male melanistic moose and the next rare fur spawn is female melanistic, will killing it reset the fur type? If I am on a particular map and get the rare fur type I want, can I go to any other map with the same animal? Example- Medved-Tavia moose to Layton lake moose? I will try again on a single player to see if I get a different result. Hopefully, you can shed light on where I went wrong.
@@LadyLegendXO Do you have any suggestions on why this did not work for me. Am I missing a step? Just to clarify I was on the same map while I grinded for moose. I still have the piebald on my Medved-Taiga map. I have not hunted that map since the post I posted.
Ot could be a number of thing. Even though you were only shooting males you may have found another need zone which may have spawned a female with a different rare type. Its also possible that a male with the original rare fur hadn't spawned yet. Soooo many variables in that scenario as with the whole game.
So I just got revontuli Friday and I have strictly been killing whitetail and spawned a piebald which I didn't have. She was a doe though. The next day a gold piebald moose popped up. I was like wth?! So I think maybe it might be working for all of the same type of species.
Hi, I dont know if I got this right. Im trying for albino lion and i got no luck for any rare lion fur, so I need to kill any albino on svanna and then I should kill only lions and hope for albino spawn ?
I am looking for an Albino grey wolf in Yukon. On my 1st day of grinding I managed a a diamond and a red wolf. But I don't know what I would be shooting?? Only male wolves? Thanks for the video
cool awesome collab im on playstation just like him im gonna try that now but first...at the start of the video then again at the 9:50 mark i see you cleared your list you made it shorter and shorter then placed a whitetail on that stand but came back and hung it's head up on the wall from the same animal (im like wow) i didn't know you could do that i tried that last week but my trophy manager said are you sure you want to permanently delete this animal i was scared to hit x so i insted found a place for it in the lodge yet it's still on my list (yes im the same matt that just joined your fb group) only a month in with this game so still learning
Can someone slowly explain the tactics? Correct me please if I am wrong, you shoot whatever random piebald and then continue with your normal grind, and the mechanism will trigger piebald of the animal you're grinding? Oh, and what is a "rotation"?
So let's say your grinding only red deer yet you see a rare furs of another animal or the same doesn't matter once you kill it the fur pattern will be transfered onto a new animal that spawns if your only killing red deer then that's all that it will be able to spawn. hope you understand
@@MovieRecapped_Officialhi just seen this so I’m trying to get an albino grey wolf to swan do I have to keep killing only grey wolf or do I need to find a rare fur type on another animal for it to potentially transfer onto grey wolf?

I’m thinking this theory just might be fact!!? I have a piebald gator on ps4, but really want to see the other piebald scale variants. So I started a gator grind on PC a few days ago, found a piebald then rewatched this video, I was originally shooting all males, and Yesterday and today I’ve Found a Melanistic, Albino and 2 more piebalds, I haven’t seen anything great for a few hours but I’m hopeful ! Now im going to attempt to shoot only level 7 - 9 males and hopefully get not only the 2 other Piebald ‘coats’ but more melas and albinos and eventually a diamond with a special ‘coat’!! Yes maybe it’s all just luck based but I’ve just pulled an insane ‘lucky’ draw. On ps4 I shot an albino cottontail, so hopefully I can pull it onto a gator and continue the grind on ps4 as well.
I'm on the Nepal trying this only shoot Tigers and got a melanistic tiger but no others, my rng went down fast. I do have a leusistic snow leopard and a molting bunny but no luck in any other special furs
I've been trying to get the steam achievment for an albino grey wolf for ages.. They dont seem to spawn as anything other than grey, so maybe Ill try doing this. :p
hey lady so i did this on cautro me and my friend hunted around on my map until we found a piebald i shot it and claimed it then went into single player grinded 1800ish red deer and not a single piebald only 2 melas and 1 albino
Quick question I haven’t seen answered yet: can I do this on multiple maps? For example can I grind for Red Deer on Cuatro and Whitetail on Layton and this work independently for both maps?
I think so it seems like if that is a legitimate theory it works cause once you kill that rare fur type it has to transfer to another animal so if u ink shoot one animal it only transfers to that. Since respawns are over maps not your entire game if this is real and works I’d say like 95% ur good
You can do 2 grinds at the same time, but me myself would rather focus just one one. that's a lot of grinding which may get you frustrated as you go cause it will take a lot longer to get a GO when you're doing 2 grinds unless you get really lucky. Because it will slow them down considerably
I was mostly just thinking about mixing it up as I find myself getting burned out on one map and wanting a change of scenery. I’m not holding my breath for a great one, I’m honestly probably more interested in the cool fur types I might find along the way. Thank y’all very much for helping me understand it all a little better
Just watching this now. Does this still work? If I wanted a Albindo Lion or Albino RME off SRP then I would have to find an Albino of some specie and then immediately start farming only Lion or only RME. I feel like finding an Albino of any specie to even start is gonna be insanely difficult.
Well I started a red deer grind on the NZ map shot a fair few stags no rares but last night the last thing I shot was a mela female so going by his theory I should have another one somewhere on the map....I'll let yous know what I find.
Is it safe to say or do we know if each map has an albino, piebald and/or melanistic fur typed animal at the same time? Or is it possible that none exist at all?
I’ve got my GOTD and a handful of mid sized rares I’ve been leaving sub 5’s but I’m at a point where nearly every herd is 3’s and 4’s. Is time to take some of these out or remain patient. I’m looking for a super rare.
Hi Lady Does this mean that if Im currently grinding for an albino lion, then if i go to ANY map and find an albino of any animal, shoot it and go back to Vurhonga and continue with my lions, the albino respawn would possibly come up for them? Thnx and ❤ your content!!
@@LadyLegendXO guess i'm unlucky then. I've shot two albino female lions and been only shooting males lately. still no albino and i'm pretty sure i single-handedly made lions extinct with the amount i've shot. though i have on occasion shot some other animals not as much as lions. hopefully they didn't respond as albino. but the map also reset too so idk anymore :(
Wait so say if I wanted to get a melanistic grey wolf and a piebald caribou, would that still work in accordance to this theory? Like grinding for two different species of two different furs would work?
I killed 43 Male Rocky Mtn Elk on Silver Ridge Peaks and now can’t seem to find even one male anywhere on the map during drunk times. I’ve counted 8 heards around the map and every one of them is female. How do the respawns work??
@@rwilsonfishing9223 bucks and doe can spawn anywhere so they can switch. I've killed 20k whitetail and tested it. If you kill buck in bad spots and doe in good spots eventually the buck will go to the good spots and the doe to bad spots

@@LadyLegendXO thats great. So i got a piebald musk deer yesterday and started to go after male moose only. Got a piebald moose today but it was female.. will grind more male moose till i have a male piebald.
how did he get larger animals on small plaques? He even has red deer on coffee tables. Also two different species on large platforms.I can't do this on x box. CAN I?
What if the rare you killed was a red deer. Because the only I killed after the reset is red deer, and I got piebald and a mela. And I haven't even checked the rest of my map. Is it ok if that initial rare was a red deer? Or does it need too be something else
Yesterday I shot a piebald moose and told my friend to only shoot whitetail because I remembered this and I shot a piebald whitetail just an hour or two later
I'm not saying this is wrong but when cuatro reset I only shot one albino Ibex and one albino wolf. On the same lake at the same time. I literally saw them both at the same time. Then went right to my red deer grind. I'm 2,700 red deer in and no albinos, only piebalds.

Now im going to attempt to shoot only level 7 - 9 males and hopefully get not only the 2 other
Piebald ‘coats’ but more melas and albinos and eventually a diamond with a special ‘coat’!!
Yes maybe it’s all just luck based but I’ve just pulled an insane ‘lucky’ draw.
On ps4 I shot an albino cottontail, so hopefully I can pull it onto a gator and continue the grind on ps4 as well.
That’s awesome!!!
A water Buffalo. Albino. I need to spawn it.
Lady this video is cursed because I keep on getting piebald and Melanistic
Impressive spawns 👍
Is it also tbh dependent? Could there be a chance of two albinos on the map or what? Just curious
you can have multiple of any fur type because i have had 2 piebald and a mela in the same herd
I got a legendary piebald croc today!
I have found and killed a piebald and have killed just fallow around 150ish of them and still haven't seen a piebald fallow yet
Love the video
❤️
You have to be on your own map. You can’t shoot it off of someone else’s. It’s their respawn. Not yours
@@LadyLegendXO it was of my multiplayer cautro though
The only fur type I have is a piebald moose i barely started playing again and I had to lock in when I see him 😂
Thanks for the help
You’re welcome!
So in order to get rares to spawn, you need to have rares spawned...Great.
Yea and there's no rares on my map so now what?
Love your videos
Thanks Keyton!!! ❤️
I believe If your only shooting in one spot it can only spawn back there since there the only animals dieing
Is it safe to say or do we know if each map has an albino, piebald and/or melanistic fur typed animal at the same time? Or is it possible that none exist at all?
There's no way to know
I’ve got my GOTD and a handful of mid sized rares I’ve been leaving sub 5’s but I’m at a point where nearly every herd is 3’s and 4’s. Is time to take some of these out or remain patient. I’m looking for a super rare.
Good luck!
My brain kind of hurts but I think I get it
I just started the game again and the starter deer at the beginning of Layton lake was an albino. Idk how.
Hi Lady
Does this mean that if Im currently grinding for an albino lion, then if i go to ANY map and find an albino of any animal, shoot it and go back to Vurhonga and continue with my lions, the albino respawn would possibly come up for them? Thnx and ❤ your content!!
No it has to be on the same map. Thank you!!!
We’re experimenting rn. So not sure
@@LadyLegendXO guess I better experiment too haha
It's just hard to find that original fur type. I can't seem to find any on emerald coast. But I believe this manipulation works.
I shot an albino red stag when I was setting up my grind and a mela Ibex will I be getting more albino and mela red deer in my grind?
That’s the hypothesis. Has been working for some
I killed 43 Male Rocky Mtn Elk on Silver Ridge Peaks and now can’t seem to find even one male anywhere on the map during drunk times. I’ve counted 8 heards around the map and every one of them is female. How do the respawns work??
One thing I will say is that animals will spawn back as the same species and same gender. They can move around and go anywhere
It’s the rare that is changing to another species. Nothing is respawning as a diff species
@@LadyLegendXO yes that's what's happening
Not true at all, my friend grinded one lake and one lake only for the great one, he spawned a big rack great one as a respawn from a doe, it’s all rng
@@rwilsonfishing9223 bucks and doe can spawn anywhere so they can switch. I've killed 20k whitetail and tested it. If you kill buck in bad spots and doe in good spots eventually the buck will go to the good spots and the doe to bad spots
@@NASCAR_Redpanda he only shot 3 zones on the one lake and got the great one on his fourth run, it was a respawn from a doe, he hadn’t hunted them anywhere else and he hadn’t even shot a diamond, all these theories are ridiculous, it’s all rng and it can’t be manipulated
Can i leave the Map? Like jumping into trophy lodge or quit Game or switch map and it would still work when i come back to grind more?
Yes as long as you shoot nothing else
@@LadyLegendXO thats great. So i got a piebald musk deer yesterday and started to go after male moose only. Got a piebald moose today but it was female.. will grind more male moose till i have a male piebald.
how did he get larger animals on small plaques? He even has red deer on coffee tables. Also two different species on large platforms.I can't do this on x box. CAN I?
They patched that sadly
@@LadyLegendXO Bummer! Too many small plagues.
What if the rare you killed was a red deer. Because the only I killed after the reset is red deer, and I got piebald and a mela. And I haven't even checked the rest of my map. Is it ok if that initial rare was a red deer? Or does it need too be something else
I'm testing that right now. I had a small albino stag spawn. Red Deer. So I'm testing to see if it'll repeat itself...
Yesterday I shot a piebald moose and told my friend to only shoot whitetail because I remembered this and I shot a piebald whitetail just an hour or two later
Awesome!!!
What if you killed a female or hind red deer Piebald, wonder if it’s possible to spawn a Piebald stags if you keep grinding red deer?
It is :)
Jsut wondering how many did you shoot with the 300 on accident
I enjoy using the 300 and fun is more important to me than a gold. But that’s just me.
@@LadyLegendXO Ik I just mean like on the melas
Is he on youtube or only on twitch?
Twitch
Hello lady! I have 300 kills and i have 4 diamonds 1 albino and 1 piebald but female😁😁😁
Nice!!!
Your very lucky, i have 700 kills and 4 diamonds 😭
@@sam.setzer4936 im 1600ish kills into red GO and only 5 diamonds and 4 rares
Would this still work ? As in now the great one black bear update
It’s a hypothesis. Some swear by it. It’s worth a try. But it won’t work for bears as there is nothing else with the same rares
I'm not saying this is wrong but when cuatro reset I only shot one albino Ibex and one albino wolf. On the same lake at the same time. I literally saw them both at the same time. Then went right to my red deer grind. I'm 2,700 red deer in and no albinos, only piebalds.
It’s a theory
I'm going to give it a try on another map with a different species. Will be awesome if it does work.
I was watching this video while i got a piebald mallard💀
Piebald mallards are common 🤕
@@johnmartin7619 aww 😔
But see if you kill the bird if then piebald fur jumps to a different animal.
Haha I said dang I wish I found a rare I got on them I found a melanistic roe deer😂 and I’m starting a red deer grind because you make it look cool
Awesome!!!
@@LadyLegendXO it is I have already found 3 7 hard red deer in 2 hours
So basically if i shot an albino moose on revontuli only shoot whitetail and it will be albino
