Exactly the video I was looking for, thank you! Also, in case you’re not aware, the cricut software has a feature called “offset” which can add the border for the stickers! 😊
Hot tip... if you put matte/regular scotch tape over the black cricut corner marks, it will neutralize the shine and the cricut will be able to read them again. might help save some time having to cut the lament layer to shape.
Aye thanks for this! Been grinding making my own stickers and I use procreate but then export to photoshop to add the outline and it takes soooo long. This helped a bunch haha Ty
YAH ofc!! I hope it was clear enough, I re did this part like 3x hahaha. But let me know if there’s anything I could improve on from an instructional stand pt 🤗
Thanks for sharing your method with us! I recently started making my own stickers and am very confused as to which paper to use. PPD is a really good paper, but it's a little blue and... Right now I'm using HTV, but I'm concerned about the thinness (it turns out that the matte laminate I'm using warps when applied to thin paper) But after watching this video, I'm still thinking about going with PPD. The problem is that it's too thick to cut properly with Silhouette lol.
Im glad this helped you! I am really picky about texture and quality so I think ppd stuff is worth it. And you’re right- it is super thick- a great and bad thing haha I only run it through the rear feeder of my printer
You don’t need to put them thru a laminator at all. This is self adhesive & no laminator is required. Just trying to save you an extra step. I’ve been using these sheets for years now with perfect success every time 😊
I like using the laminator to get all the air bubbles out, but yes, technically it’s not necessary! I just find that it gets it perfectly, smoothly flattened out. I used to use a roller and do it by hand, but the laminator has been a life saver for my wrists! 😅

I did not know!! Omg, thanks! It’s been a looong time since I’ve made my own stickers, so things have changed (for the better it seems!)
@@Sundrop.Studios yes, thankfully they’re finally making adjustments! Hahaha It should make things slightly eaiser😭
If you have the sticker feature available it'll also have some border options as well! :D
Right!

I saw someone also color over the register marks with white crayon and that dulled the shine enough. Haven’t tried yet myself but I plan to.
Thanks so much for actually testing out if it is waterproof an can survive the dishwasher. Exactly the video I was looking for! :)
Gurlll thank u, my stickers never cut well and now I know that is because of the setting
Yay! Glad it helped 🤗
This is such a great tutorial. Just made some stickers but was looking for a way to make them water proof. Thank you SOO much for this!! :)
Wowie, video quality just keeps getting better and better~ ❤❤❤
🥹 I’m trying ~ thanks for watching 🥰🥰🥰

Excellent music selection 👍🏽
Hehe thank u!
Which cold laminator do you use? Did you buy it from Amazon? 🙂 thank you!! Your stickers are so cuutteee
Thank you!! And yes, I think it’s linked in my Amazon affiliates link in the Description box!
Heat pressing the sheet after the cold laminate is genius. When I laminate I sometimes feel like the result can be a little bit foggy.
I usually just do a cold laminate, I haven't tried heat!
Ohh oops i thought you did both. 😆My bad.
Maybe Cricut4 will have a camera like the Siser Juliet. That registration issue would be annoying! I always get a bubble when laminating!!!
That’s be neat!
They're nice. If you wait 24 hrs and then use dishwasher, it should come out better.
I was thinking the same
Hey I tried the trick of putting the laminate within the border but my cricut keeps destroying my stickers do you have any advice?
are all the software updated? and there is a calibration run that you can try!

@@Sundrop.Studios This! Which brand is your laminator? I am looking for one too.
I just finished my first sticker design so this came at the perfect time 😭😭❤️ thank you so much for the step by step instructions! Very helpful!
huzzah!!! I'm very excited for you!!
@@Sundrop.Studios thank you!!!☺️
