I'd love to have one of that blue power cage with a strong bench to do incline bench presses... Please, does anyone knows the producer? And/Or the specs!? Measurements, etc. Thank you very much!
There are 3 things that have seem to help me recently with better recovery, especially being a lifetime drug free athlete: 1. Increase frequency of stretching and massage of the body, try maintain or increase range of motion of joints as much as possible. 2. Increase the number of rest days between heavy workouts. 3. On recovery days when resting introduce intermittent fasting, for the 1st 7-8 hours of the day. The 3rd to me has really assisted in bringing down inflammation of the body and seems to help the body restore itself the best. The body takes over in the natural heeling process of the muscles as opposed to loading the body with more unnecessary calories and supplementation.
Caloric restriction isn't a great long term strategy as nutrients assist recovery, and protein needs to be distributed throughout the day for best results. If you have a autoimmune issue, food intolerance or allergy, it's best to figure that out. A simple food diary can help.
Interesting about diet or calories, within reason, not effecting recovery. Good to know.

+DKriticos I have found the same thing with IF. Hard to change old habits but it worked for me.
+DKriticos Thanks for the IF tip. Gotta try that out.
