Ohh my goodness every time you have a canning video it brings back so many memories of my aunt's mother and grandmother canning when I was Bean's age and older. Miss all those beautiful ladies that were in my life. 🤗💓💕💞
Great looking canned ground beef. I really appreciate your sharing the tip for using the Better Than Bouillon for the water in the jars. I had always just used water but this would add flavor and if it helps the texture, so much the better.
Thank you, thank you for doing this video. I needed a step by step and someone who had a gas stove. I have everything except the meat. You have done a great job. Yes, I was thinking about freezing things and what would happen if we lost power.....yuk....thank you again.
I've canned my hamburger as per a video of Heathers also using the broth made with onion soup mix. I'll definitely have to try the better than boullion. I also found you can put the hamburger in the crockpot on high for several hours & it also cooks it well.
I am considering buying either a quarter or half of a cow but don't know the volume and fear it all won't fit into my freezer. What volume square footage does it take for each?
Have y'all ever thought it might be wise to buy a generator for times when the electricity goes out? I don't know of to many folks who store that much meat in freezers without a back up plan.........🌿🌺🌿🌺🌿
Hello, who doesn't love that "ping" when something is sealed! Thank you for a wonderful day of canning. Enjoy your evening.
