For those who’ve been watching these for years we already knew how this would go down. The upright spinners always take out disk bots.

The great thing about watching these here, is 75% of the show is trying to hype up what doesn't need to be hyped up, and that doesn't even count the commercial time you save.

it's not all about just robots bashing each other, there are people and teams behind these things. the people are important aspects of why most of us watch, we want to get to know them to a certain extent. after all, these bots probably average in the range of $40K, i'd say, and it's just not good enough to have a half hour show of nothing but chaos.
i agree, though, they drag this out sometimes to a tedious degree. it's what you expect. i DVR it and skip what i'm not interested in.
@@ryanbarker5217 Good point, but they should spend more of the show looking at the engineering and strategy and what the damage was in each match instead of so much WWF glamour nonsense.
@@ryanjohnson3615 they could, and i would enjoy that. even their individual social media often doesn't go into that too much. some do, other not so much.
i think maybe it's just an unreliable content source and, well, they might not give viewers that much credit. most folk probably don't care about the issues of going to brushless motors.

That's not even the biggest hit of GIGABYTE's history. Gigabyte vs the wall, from gigabyte vs hydra, was bigger. Also if you count exploosions, sawblaze vs uppercut had a literal explosion that shook the camera.

I’ve loved Hypershock since I first saw them. And Will is a master on the stick. Solid team and bot. At the same time, I’ve never been a fan of the full body spinners just because they seem to just take an easy beating and will self destruct. Might be my knowledge of the premise behind centrifugal force just wanting to rip itself apart naturally. Powerful, no doubt, but the natural state of things there wants to just rip itself apart.

That was some awful driving from giga. Could have easily gone after hyper shock without hitting it's blade.
Maybe if gigaloser had attacked instead of sitting there hoping for a the other bot to get counted out he could have scored some damage. Got what he deserved.

giga should have let someone younger than 90 years old drive, they could have taken hypershock out.
I mean.. you see how they've done this year with their younger drivers and i don't think that would've entirely saved them..

Nearly 9 minute long video, not a single thing worth watching happens until 5 minutes and 30 seconds and less than 2 minutes later absolutely nothing worth watching happens. That's basically the formula for every video of battle bots

I remember a REALLY GREAT T.V. SHOW that had actual, large sized, humanoid bots, made from junkyards. They fought each other in rounds, like a boxing match. IT WAS THE BEST! I can't find any of those episodes anywhere.

You guys need to dial it up. Make big machines that look like Robocops. Though it is a bit humorous to see these little guys ramming, and hacking their little selves up.
These robots are anything but little.
These machines weigh 250 lbs. You think they should up the ante to a thousand? The audience will need better protection.
