After changing the pump, is it still possible to drive the car without immediately adjusting the electronics? I plan to drive about 1000 km like this before I can have it properly set up.
Just a question and excuse my ignorance; I thought that the CP4 had all the issues and the CP3 was essentially reliable, what is the reason for changing to the R90?
I honestly don’t know where the CP4 came from or why is even related to the 335d, but what i do know is that for us in the US (the unlucky ones that only got 3 years of the 335d) are only supposed to focus on the CP3 version. There are both CP3 R70 and CP3 R90. Both are, as far as i know, reliable. The CP4 version I would assume is for other versions of the 335d in Europe. Could be wrong tho
That video will help so many people in future. Thank you!

How did you clean your engine bay? I have had bad luck from washing engine bays. Electrical shorts and water in spark plug holes, etc...
WD-40 and tire shine

Where is the R90 pump originally from?
E46 330d 204, has the pump from factory.
