Out of all the videos I’ve seen on this product, this is the only one that’s made me want one because of how genuine the reactions are from someone who plays a lot of vr and isn’t reading off of a spec sheet. I love bigger creators like Marques Brownlee, but it’s obvious that you’re much more familiar with the subject material and I love the enthusiasm

Had no clue Sony really put THAT much effort into pushing the VR Sphere forward. Huge props to them, and of course to Habie for being the best VR content creator to show this off
Only criticism I still have as always is Playstation locking stuff to their console only. Just straight up launch a PC VR headset for that price and those same specs and it'll sell. It's sitting in that gap between Quest and Vive that doesn't have many good options.

Just want to say that this video is more useful to me than all the reviews I've read. In all the reviews they talk about specs and how the headset having a cord is bad and stuff but you talk about how immersive the experience is. How much more the game pulls you in, the small details like being able to feel the environment around you or how useful eyetracking is.
I'm tired of the cord complaint. One really long cord is a really good trade off for having the power of the ps5. As of now, we can't get amazing vr experiences wirelessly...I mean we can, but the power difference between a pc/ps5 and a cell phone chip is pretty big.
@@rosecity_chris Like Sony, who is absolute king of hardware manufacture, wouldnt put in wireless if it had more pros than cons... People forget this thing needs massive bandwidth and power delivered to it. Why would I want less resolution and added weight due to batteries? And especially since alot of times you are playing just sitting there.

i've been playing VR since 2016 and have tried almost every headset. The HDR on the PSVR2 is something I didn't think was going to matter much, but man does it add a TON of immersion.
But I dont wanna buy a ps5 just for the vr..

Love my psvr 2, coming from a nice PC and a quest 2. Console VR has a big advantage over PCVR. Software and hardware specific optimization has been huge. The games just work and run amazing instantly all the time.

Jumped into psvr2 after watching your Pavlov videos a few weeks ago. Not shocked they picked you to sponsor a video.
The creep is happening because of usb compression, no matter how good your pc is its still limited by usb. Normal headsets without compression(like any headset other than the quest,quest 2) dont have the black creep.
Yeah, I didn't know what he was talking about. Vive Pro's been out since 2018 with full DisplayPort 1.2 bandwidth, and the nose-grommet with removeable face-padding eliminated all light. The vive wands and the headset's fresnel lenses are garbage though.
I'd be interested in hearing what he's been using this whole time.
PSVR2 almost has the res of a Pro 2, but it's OLED, adds the eye tracking like Pro Eye had, and comes with superior, valve-esque controllers which look sick.
I hope we can make an openVR driver for this headset and just use it on PC.
My country didn't get the Index til late 2021, so if I was to upgrade, this looks like a much cleaner package.

I'm so excited, I'm slowly starting to hear people who have been down on vr finally coming around after trying psvr2
The game was running that well because of foveated rendering. You didn't notice it probably but the game was actually being rendered in a very low resolution and is rendered in high resolution wherever you're looking thanks to the eye tracking.

5:13 When I got my first headset (HTC Vive) I played with it for a few weeks and then I started messing with settings. I found Motion Smoothing and it had 3 options: Global, On, and Off.
I couldn't tell much or any difference between Global and On. But when I turned it Off, I had the exact same reaction that Habbie did in the video. Absolutely no delay. It was like the headset knew exactly when and how I was going move my head before I moved it.
Habie, turn off the Motion Smoothing on SteamVR. You have to do it for each application individually. Also love the content!

Psvr2 is amazing. Best gaming experience I've has in 50 years. Better than any of the pcvr headsets ive had. Its quick easy and no fuss. Everything just works. It's a brilliant mind blowing experience.
