While awesome, hearing this REALLY, REALLY makes me wish that Atlus would revisit the first two Persona games. They're truly gems that deserve remastered versions.
I would like to see a proper translation and Snow Queen Quest restoration remaster of the original version of persona plus an official release of the Playstation version of Persona 2 IS and a proper re-translation of Eternal Punishment for consistency.
I think they need more then just remasters, I'm hoping to see one day persona 1 remade with p5's engine and gameplay (I specifically mean battle and replacing the random encounters with... not random encounters please)
00:00 - 02:02 Negotiation with a shadow self 02:02 - 02:22 Acceptance The rest is actual awakening, followed by a battle. Well, that's my vision for the track.
@@yhjidid7375 riiight. Started realising this only now. Well, there's also Naoya's bro from manga who's also pretty much a shadow. Not to mention that the concept of shadow in a game (not manga or drama CDs or whatever else) was introduced in Tsumi (just a bit different from shadows of the neo persona), which is a part of the old trilogy. Plus P1 cast appears thoughout both parts of 2. Yukino even meets her own shadow in Tsumi, so... it still kind of fits...? ARE YA CODING, SON!?
@@LollipopWNoChainsaw /ur idk bout the manga i havent finished the shit but i heard the manga isnt canon. And where the shadow introduced first was on p2is so doesn't count for p1 ig /rr no im making a spaghetti spaghetti code get it?
I believe the reason why they're isn't a persona 1 Remake isn't because atlus doesn't care I think its cus the fans that it DOES have barely even show how much they love it if us Persona 1 fans could actually show ppl care about this game I'm SURE they would remake it. Also this game SRSLY needs a Remake its amazing it deserves WAY more attention!!! I love Persona 1💖💖💖 (whoever agrees with me a good way to start is by simply making more vids and stuff for the game and commenting Persona 1 Remake on videos of persona sounds dumb but that's all we got R.I.P) oh yeah and the yearly surveys!!!
I certainly DO feel that persona 3-5 are getting all the attention. I honestly am not too fond of the life simulator aspect of those games as I think they take up too much of the game, but eh. I read somewhere that a brand new development team worked on Persona 3-5 which, if true, could explain why they are so different than the early titles.
@@vintagegamer695 I'm pretty sure it is a different team but on a survey last year ( or year before) ATLUS asked which game we would like to see get a remake and Revelations: Persona was an option on there so they most likely have a way of making a Persona 1 Remake
This is the badass song I contribute to persona 1. 2 has Knights of the holy lance. 3 has burn my dread -last battle-. 4 has I'll face myself -battle-. and 5 still has the incredible rivers in the desert.
hot take, but I’d like to see P1 come back as a really good anime adaptation instead of a remake. game development is expensive, and I feel like Atlus would rather pursue the development of new games and ideas (not to mention the fact that we still don’t have SMT V)
Anime is also ridiculously expensive and tends not to see many returns unless the product is relevant. That's why most people regard current anime adaptations as advertisements to the source material. I doubt a Persona 1 anime would even be possible UNLESS they remade the game.
An anime adaptation would bring more attention to 1 but also more music so they could make a dancing game and with the models from the dancing game perhaps a P1 remake I am a business genius
After listening to this: I love how the Awakening part of the song (from ~2:02 onward) ramps up in chaoticness, before coming to a screeching halt with only the piano and what I'm assuming is the hi-hat coming through. I feel like it's representative of how summoning a Persona feels: All the thoughts in your head being thrown all at once into disarray, creating a cacophony of emotion, until suddenly... *_"PERSONA!"_* Your mind clears up. Everything seems clear now.

You mean, first 3 (since 2 was a 2-parter).
Still, I wholeheartedly agree. The PSP ports weren't enough imo.

It was on the survey and I heard somewhere a remake for P1 and p2 might be announced this or next year

@@heehomgee4671 that'd be awesome!!!
its obvious Kozuka loves the old Smt soundfront , his music tends to speak for himself. Probably why Atlus trust him making smt iv soundtrack.
Would love it if he composed new music for a potential Persona 1 Remake. I feel like his style would really fit imo.
I really love what Kozuka's done with this theme, the Awakening Legend bit especially. Starting to really notice his work.
We need a Revelations: Persona Remake also people don't forget about the yearly survey.
