You obviously do better with that on line auction site, I struggle with it. I can only bid on 3 items, once and they are in US $ which caught me out the first time. I have bought things directly through Riley and been fine, but that auction site sucks. He did tell me it allows you to bid more once you’ve won 3 items but why make it that hard for people?
I just want riley to do well! He's one of the only honest dealers... as to getting stuff... yep, I can. As a hint... organise the auction by price. Concentrate only on the 1$ items and check to see if there are any with an hour to go. Or maybe even 10. Bid minimum, but at only 3 it's hardly worth your while! 10 bucks shipping. Sometimes 30... I think any purchase is considered a successful bid. So click on the vendor. Adopals, anopals, downunder opals, dreamtime opals and a few more are the same vendor I think.
This vendors have been there since early 2000 (I think they are all somehow associated with Paul sedowie) and have not updated their prices so if you look in their shop there will be some items that are still priced as if it's 2005. They are show pieces to demonstrate how much you should be bidding, but a few have depreciated to bargain status. There are some sun flash by adopals that I think are well worth it. I cut one and made a vid. I'm thinking of buying them at some stage, if they disappear to you I'll consider them lost to a good cause
