Myself not a fan of the dynamic lighting stuff I’m boring and like the stock leds. I do have a quick question about the clutch myself just got the stage one revo map and loving it but have found that the clutch seems to slip a little more when it’s cold I am on the stock one but once I’ve been driving for 20 - 30 minutes the clutch doesn’t slip just wondering is it worth getting a sach clutch now or wait and see, bare in mind the cars only done 15k miles and yes it’s a manual.
I'm running Stage 2 on a manual 7R @ 285awkw, my clutch was slipping on stage 1 too, but was due for a replacement anyway, so running the Sachs Street+ 550Nm+ clutch now and it's bloody awesome.
Absolutely gutted man! I just wasted £28 on these dynamic indicators. I fitted them but they didn't work plus threw up an error saying to check my bulbs on the dash warning. So they came like your but with an extra white wire attached to each light which was to be wired in to illuminate white when locking/unlocking car. I didn't bother with that extra wire and i just plugged it in as normal but like i said.. it didn't work. It could be the fact my Golf R is a 2019 7.5 R. So I've bitten the bullet and ordered another pair this time from a different supplier and the state that it's deffo for the 7.5 and plug and play with no extra wire and should have no errors.
@Jamesr50 mate you have to do the 7.5 aftermarket headlights I think you would be the only video of the kind on YT. I’ve been looking to see what a mk7 golf R would look like with 7.5 headlights no videos of them fitted on UA-cam please do it James... may sway me into buying the mk7 save me a fair bit of Bob then buying the 7.5 just for the headlights

Also wondering this myself as i've seen a few things online saying the dynamic indicators need to be a 3 pin connector wheras some only have 2 causing the puddle lights not to work.

Do the puddle lights on the wing mirror still work with these?
Sold. They look great for the price tag. If you do get round to 7.5 light conversion, it will look amazing
