I need a detangler recommendation for my 11-year old daughter. She has long super thick, slightly coarse, naturally wavy/curly hair. It tangles so quickly and easily. I need something she can put into her hair wet or dry. She lets it air dry and has zero desire to use anything with heat at this point. Drugstore would be my preference, but willing to spend more if it’s super amazing.
I struggle with this as well, even with a different hair type. In my experience, air drying is likely to cause more tangles. Even with my extremely straight hair, so I can't imagine coarse hair. Something like the Wet Brush with two kinds of bristles was a game changer for me. A good thick hair mask as a deep conditioner in the shower. The Sol de Janeiro yellow one and the old Briogeo formula with the bear. Right now I'm using the Fable and Mane one that smells tropical. They're all a bit thicker. And a good hair old after, I use a lighter oil, but a thicker oil like the Bread one (made for textured hair) or the Moroccan Oil is great. Would love to find drugstore haircare myself but all of it has caused a rash or dried out my hair or made it sticky. 😮💨
I just can't understand how an oil can be used as an heat protectant? Blowout Proffesor on here states that is a buying/bribing mechanism ?! I really gotta try those Crown products.

I bought a mini of living proof dry shampoo for travel and also thought it gave me a tad volume which I lurved for my straight, flat ass hair

I use the kerastase on my wet / damp hair before drying and I use the olaplex on my ends!
