Small Tractor PTO Stump Grinder Clearing Lot

- A PTO Stump grinder is the real deal! We have cleared so many stumps with our grinder, and only 300 more stumps to clear. LOL! With all things said, I like the TYM T25 with this grinder. It is easier to see, and I think it does a fine job. Our TYM T25 has 25 engine horsepower with 18 PTO horsepower at the rear. We are making good headway in clearing the ground. Let us know what you think in the comments.

T25. Great tractor
I sure do like the T25.
Very nice, Tony. That’s the same PTO HP as my Kubota B2601. Looks as therapeutic as running my wood chipper. 👍
As always, great camera work Tanja!
There is something cool about grinding a stump up.
Hi Tony and Tanja the camera guru, another Tony's Tractor Adventure interesting video to me the uninitiated, LoL. I also follow, Lets Dig 18, and Diesel Creek, Andrew Camarata, Jesse Muller, Mustie and a few others there in the States. I have great admiration for our American Military brothers and sisters, who played a huge part in saving my country from invasion during the WW2 Pacific war. Had the USA not come into the conflict when they did, i might well not be here now writing this comment to you Tony and Tanja. I was born May 30, 1940, my siblings, before and after me, we were a big family living at Westport, New Zealand. As you know Tony, i served in the NZ Army Infantry Battalion, early 60s, Malaya, (2 years posting) thought we were going to be shoved into Nam early on, but it didn't happen. I lost mates in Nam later. God bless the Fallen.
Lina and i send our Christmas Greetings to you Tony and Tanja, on the Anniversary of the Birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
God Bless the United States of America, always, and God Bless the Citizens of the country i love, New Zealand. Everyone included, no exceptions. Bob and Lina Wilson.
Thank you for your service. I admire anyone who serves a greater good. We need more people to serve than ever, but so few will serve anymore. God Bless, and Merry Christmas.
That grinder / tractor combo is awesome. Made short work of the stumps.
I am happy with it
Merry Christmas Tony and Tanya, Gismo and Fans!!!
Merry Christmas, Stan
I'll always like that attachment! 👍 Thanks for sharing, Tony 😎🪵🪵🪵
Yes sir. I love using it. Satisfying.
Tony that grinder sure does a good job, great video!👍🏻
Yes they do
This is a great training video! I'm planning to buy either this unit or a Woodland Mills grinder in the spring, so I've been watching a bunch of videos of the grinders in action. This is by far the best!! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Another good job Tony. I like the type of stump grinder that your using instead of the one's that swing back and forth they seem to better and doesn't bounce around. MC.
I think the one that swings has its purpose but I am happy with this.
Great job Tony we learn as we grow with knowledge great video thanks Tony and Tanya
Thank you, Gary. Merry Christmas
Need one of those.
Yes Sir
I’m a new tractor owner and have a new TYM T25 and would like to see a video on setting up this stump grinder from attaching the unit to the quick attach, then the PTO, then adjustments etc. Thanks for your efforts!
Thank you for the idea. We put out videos months in advance, but I will get to it this summer. Tony
Great job!!! 😊❤
Stay warm
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from St Johns Arizona ❤️🐻
Merry Christmas and God Bless
I could definitely use that for three or four stumps in my yard lol I’ve been trying to soak them in my used oil then setting them on fire after I collected enough sticks and stuff around the yard to make a good fire I’ve burnt one out now but that would make it easier for sure lol thanks for sharing buddy hope you have a merry Christmas
I have about 300 more to go! 😁
I remember when you first started using the grinder. Lots of hopping and jumping as I recall. Nonetheless It seems you’ve got the technique dialed in now. I have 25 hp tractor to and as long as you take your time, make smaller movements, the 25 can handle almost any job many would assume a larger tractor is needed. Cheers
Thank you, It is a pleasant job. Merry Christmas
An I wish you and your family a very happy Christmas and a happy New Year to you all god bless your home at this great time love from us all here in England Great Britain hope you have a great day from Joe and my family x
Merry Christmas and God Bless Joe. We are blessed beyond measure.
good job, Merry Christmas🌲🌲
Merry Christmas, my friend
That's a pretty good job
Agreed. It is fun too.
Hello from Alabama my friend love the video have been thinking about buying one of these
We are clearing several building sights, so it has paid for itself over and over.
They are designed to cut going forward only. The cutting teeth are on the tractor side of the disc. Digging it in while in reverse will only wear down the nuts holding the tooth on. Glad to see that 18 pto horsepower can operate it.
I understand the cutting direction. It's fairly obvious, but it's different when you're sitting in the seat. Still, I have dragged the nuts on the back side many times and they still look to be in good shape. We are blessed in the fact that we don't have rocks.
@@TonysTractorAdventure 👍
Nice job
Thank you! Cheers!
You should sell those wood chipper it seems to work great.
I sell them to me! 😁👍
im going to buy my parents a small tractor. they dont need something like the T474. The T25 seems to be very versatile and strong enough for their needs.
There are things the T25 can't do, but I use it more than my big tractor. It is very versatile.
I need a stump grinder 😊
Yes sir
Thanks for posting folks. Tight check chains, small tyres and a good slip clutch, good setup. Is there any regular cutter maintenance/replacement needed on this piece of kit?
I bought extra cutters, but to this point, I have never used any. Greasing is the only thing I have done.
Thanks again Tony! It looks like tightening the shackles really made a huge difference.
I think I will be oredering one in the spring. Baumalight is saying something about maybe needing an extension kit; did you need one for the 25?
I didn't need an extension kit. This is an older version though.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Thanks
Thank you Chief, Tanja, and Gizmo. I have the grinder now and the RK25 is in the supply chain somewhere??? Since I can’t possibly use it until May I assume all delivered units are to folks that can actually use them. Got to hope, a belated Christmas gift to myself. Tony I had asked you about the PTO adapter last week, your thoughts again please. Merry Christmas to your family. If you can’t take your weather come to SWFL for a few days/week. Bored stiff here. Stan
I need to cut all my shafts to use my adapter. It makes it so much better.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Do you still favor that brand over some of the more advertised options? Multiple male adapters recommended?? Thanks Check.
I do favor it. It is so simple.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Thanks. Not sure how many male adapters I truly need. Several to make it easy for multiple pieces of equipment.
I would like one of those for my 50hp John Deere 1630 … hopefully my tractor has enough power
Stump grinders like these are only recommended for HST tractors.
Can I wish you and your family a happy Christmas from Scotland, I don’t know if you’ve tried to it from left to right it would put far lest pressure on the PTO,
Merry Christmas. I have tried it every way.
I've seen you test out two flail mower/mulchers, which is your favorite to use?
Each has their own place
@@TonysTractorAdventure thanks
Is this something u made are bought??
We bought this, but it is not sold in the US any longer. We put a link in the description of the video to a new version.
How do you learn how to do it🙄
Just like walking.
like it but your not supposed to cut on your way back it actually loosens the teeth doing that ,
I don't think I cut on the way back.
@@TonysTractorAdventure ok but I heard it when yah back up look at yah video , not being smart about it just watched others that have the teeth issues and it seems to happen when they hit the stump in reverse ok have a good evening
