It is so awesome that you actually get sufficient special weapons in this kit. 4 Meltas, 4 Storm Bolters, 4 Flamers, a combi gun, 2 heavy weapons, enough boltguns... bloody awesome. Wish all kits were like this.
Only weapon option you don't get is a hand flamer.
Yeah. Much better than the Retributor kit where we only get every heavy weapon twice.
@@Ferox2121 and the damn Havoc's kit where you get just one of each
@@ftayl5 what? So instead of improving the devastator problem, they made it worse? So i need 4 boxes of havocs to have one REAL unit with 4 Heavy Bolters or such? :O what a joke.
@@NIMMHATVRapBeats that is correct, it's so bad
@@NIMMHATVRapBeats the havoc box has two of every heavy weapon besides the chain cannon
This was one of the very first box sets I purchased when i started collecting. I immediately began novice kit bashing it and had a lot of fun doing so.
It would've been nice to have some bits that differentiate between Celestian, Dominion, and normal Battle Sisters.
Love the 'dove from above' reference. Vic and Bob would be proud.
Michael Edwards I used to love watching shooting stars as a child. I think watching so much funny stuff as a child has attributed to my sense of humour.
@@Sup3rSaiy3n I liked the 'crow from below' from Shooting Stars
Glad to see you liked the kit!
I bought two of these boxes, built 3 squads of 5 sisters with 2 stormbolters using the simulacrums as proxies for the superior for two of the squads and the regular superior for the third, then put all 4 heavy weapons, the cherubs, and the remaining superior into a makeshift retributor squad. Coupled with Celestine and the multi-part canoness (brazier + chainsword and plasma pistol) that's my core battallion sorted (and I bought a couple seraphim squads which I am yet to construct to bring the melta)
Yeah I missed out on some of the cool poses, like you said, but I reckon I did a great job saving money; especially avoiding needing to buy an entire new retributor squad (although I didn't get my exact choice of heavy weapons)
Great looking models. The standard bearer in particular is very nice. 👍🏻
Thanks for the review.
Imo the battle sisters boxed set is the best kit in the entire sisters release. Lots of options, really nice models. I like this kit a lot. I have built 3 boxes of them now (one squad is painted) and i have two more boxes on the shelf. I dont get tired to build those models.
The Retributor squad was so damn rough. This kit was a pleasure to make while retributors felt like punishment. Those hoses and cables connecting the multi-meltas felt like straight up open heart surgery.
Darin Walker I hear you. Totally agree.
Darin Walker Oh! I thought it was just me! They were horrid.
yeh, I had hassle trying to get the damn things to connect...
Is it me or does this guy sound like Daniel Radcliffe? Excellent review!
Got my first box today. Hyped.
7:21 time to bust out the greenstuff
Another great review
i did it ive made two i sacrificed the hev bolter arm to hold a bolt pistol n have made both the banner sistren n the helmet holder bit of fileing involved
And box DO NOT have multimelta (strange if it is a option for them to have it), can be kitbash if you have one.
can you not chop n swap ie i see one of yr gals has a bolter but could u not have swapped her arms out for the one holding the helmet???
Good morning.
Could you make all 10 with helmeted heads?
Yep, there’s actually like 20 helmets in there
@@makeshift307 thanks!
Multimelta included?
Is there enough helmets for all 10 miniatures?
yep, see (8:16) you have 9 regular heads + 5 heads with fleur-de-lys for celestians + a head with raised visor in the regular and celestian variant (visor is interchangeable) + the sister superior head shown on the first minature
Yes, thanks Hubert.
So is the floating baby's not worth anything or do anything ?
They’re called cherubs in Warhammer 40k and this one is an incensor cherub. It’s a wargear option and I think I went through its rules.
morning
HELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Been thinking of picking up some retributors but I hate the faces on SOB. They're just absolutely horrible.
They have helmet options
A OK OK OK OK OK XXX
Thank you for watching another video and another comment
