+DorkGirl I think this is a private music school, and the asian culture still is very strict in teaching and education. they most likely spent hours a day just playing.
Malcolm Nathrien I am from Singapore. A years ago we did this song for Singapore Youth Festival (SYF). I only manage to make it to the Poco Animato part by memory before I fell apart. This Korean band is AMAZING.
before every concert my music teacher would sometimes make us turn our stands around for the pieces so we had to play this plus 3 other songs without any sheet music as a warm up. this was when I was in 9th grade.
I'm not sure why everyone is freaking out about it being memorized. When you practice a piece like this you play it so much you end up memorizing it. I've played marching band music as complex as this in 9th grade and memorized it along with drills in a few weeks and the music took a week or so to memorize at most. But they are still excellent for their age that's for sure
It is not fair! Your performance surpassed the quality of many college bands in the U.S.A. in intonation, precision, accuracy, and general musicianship. Not a note missed!
+Best Shaco NA some people can just do that, man. luckily I am one of those kinds of people. But I'm sure that you've got other things that you do better than others.
This is what music education is capable of anywhere. Any country. Take life long involvement, a sheer joy of playing great music, add an inspirational staff, and this is what you can get. Loved this performance.
Wait how old are these kids because all of the woodwinds sounded beautiful I know I wouldn't be able to play it by memory well i could but it would take a lot of practice omg
OMFG!!!! That was amazing! For a peice that complex to be memorized and played so fantastically AND be played by some kids who looked about 7!! I don't mean to be a white girl but I can't even 😂
I honestly love this music piece I played this for my high school marching show the music was a little different so that it was more marching style but it honestly is a good piece of music to play
cause oboes don't play like clarinets and is more confortable with raising the instrument... maybe it is a bit higher than usual (but oboist of this formation are very young)
Oboes should be held further out, not quite at a 90° angle, but at about 45° from the body, it is proper oboe posture!! (I am an oboeist, but I am played bari sax for this song in high school!!)
I played this; it was amazing, I played principle 1st clarinet. Nice job, you guys (and go Korea for the win!). Nice musical balance, also! Keep up the good work! But, how do you guys memorize this???
Hi, I will request this piece for my music teacher, lol, they are me. I don't want to. But I just memorized sheet music for every single song. Grade 5 out of 6. I remember a grade 3 so far because out 8th grade might not even get to grade 4(Hope that don't happen). Clarinet
DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THAT THIS WAS FROM MEMORY?????
YEAH I NOTICED THEY HAD NO STANDS AND I FLIPPED MY SHIT
Played by elementary students too. Gosh. Lots of hard work was definitley put into this.
Dang I almost had a heart attack looking at the music and I'm I'm EIGHTH GRADE that's amazing
Omg
+Rafael Espinoza Rafa?
It’s surreal to see children playing this good
They have more French Horns than we have musicians in my high school band.
I know right.
We don't even have a French horn
ikr?? theres only 2 in my band.
Shut up Daniel you clogan.
ur an Clogan!!!
Loved watching the conductor expressing the passion he wanted out of the trumpet soloist. What an amazing ensemble!
This band expresses much emotion into their playing. Amazing
It's kinda robotic actually
I was about to say, all the solos were very by the book, no expression at all, they were focusing on hitting the right notes.
Does anyone else realize this is all memmorized
YES
Love the difference between 10y and 1 day lmao
I GOT THIS TODAY AND ITS HELL
@@matthewhurtado376 i play trombone 1 and it’s the best piece I’ve ever played I love it
@@jamesbstudios7000 I play alto 2 and it was a living hell
the way the percussionists moved together with the crescendo at 3:19 is really satisfying
They were doing this complex song.... MEMORIZED?????!!!!?!?!?!?!?
I don't know how they can do it. i tried doing it one time, i messed up. i have to admit, it was AWESOME!
+DorkGirl I think this is a private music school, and the asian culture still is very strict in teaching and education. they most likely spent hours a day just playing.

correction. we never even got the stands yet. we just had our music folders under our chair.

rduke same!!
Soooo true on ur memorization point! Ultra true on ur last point!
I think why people are surprised is because theyre in elementary school
rduke Well I cant remember shit and I’m in honors band🤣😭💀
Exactly bruh you gon wind up memorizing it when you practice it all the time
It is not fair! Your performance surpassed the quality of many college bands in the U.S.A. in intonation, precision, accuracy, and general musicianship. Not a note missed!
The clarinet soloist and horn soloists were both top of their levels for their ages
rip Oboe solo I guess
Holy crap, Michael Deal, no I did not immediately realize there were no music stands! Wow!
On my way to korea brb
Same
😂
I've been trying to find a really good recording of this song for a while, and this is better than most if not all the high school performances.
percussion ⚓❤
How could the do that from memory??? I've played the saxophone for 8 years and I still need the music..
+Best Shaco NA some people can just do that, man. luckily I am one of those kinds of people. But I'm sure that you've got other things that you do better than others.
wow they are not just good, their AMAZEBALLS
wtf
welp my band sucks
mine too
same here
They’re Korean we can never compete
WHAT ONLY THE PERCUSSION HAD MUSIC!!?
AND THEY HAD MORE FRENCH HORNS THAN I'VE EVER SEEN IN *ANY* BAND I'VE EVER PLAYED IN
This is what music education is capable of anywhere. Any country. Take life long involvement, a sheer joy of playing great music, add an inspirational staff, and this is what you can get. Loved this performance.
Noh Minkyun is so good. He's so good that it's hard to believe that he's an elementary school student. This is Korea!
And I thought being able to hold a high C for 3 slow measures and play the snare part at this speed as an 8th grader was an accomplishment...
Bruh wtf THEY GET ALL MY RESPECT
Wait how old are these kids because all of the woodwinds sounded beautiful I know I wouldn't be able to play it by memory well i could but it would take a lot of practice omg
I played this song with my band last year and it felt so powerful and so exciting to do
OMFG!!!! That was amazing! For a peice that complex to be memorized and played so fantastically AND be played by some kids who looked about 7!! I don't mean to be a white girl but I can't even 😂
+Yummy Alex looks like someones salty
Watching the clarinetists fingers just fly at about 2:20 is insane
Their worst trombone is better than our first chair
THIS WAS AMAZING, I played for my county band.
Trumpets at end damn
absolutely amazing.
the double horn is strong with this one...
Amazing performance!!!
Imagine that today they are no longer children but adults!
nice song.
Oh shit the oboe player is fucking good
I honestly love this music piece I played this for my high school marching show the music was a little different so that it was more marching style but it honestly is a good piece of music to play
BRAVO Great performance!!!
bettter than adults XD
WalesPerra ikr.
Exactly
plus they memorized it
throw back 3 years
Fantastic!!! Very Very good.
this was amazing
their skills and music are pretty good! Sounds really one band...better than many adult.
I was six minutes into the concert, and I realize they have no stands.. 😅 very good band from Korea.
We played this in high school concert band. An ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GROUP IS PLAYING LIKE THIS?!
Wonderful, bravo, memorized, too. Inspirational. - TK BD in CT
why the oboes be playing like trumpets
Well it works for them doesn't it
cause oboes don't play like clarinets and is more confortable with raising the instrument... maybe it is a bit higher than usual (but oboist of this formation are very young)
it also projects the sound out so the audience can hear it better, because oboe is more quiet than loud
Oboes should be held further out, not quite at a 90° angle, but at about 45° from the body, it is proper oboe posture!! (I am an oboeist, but I am played bari sax for this song in high school!!)
Were playing this and they sound better💀 AND IT MEMORIZED I COULD NEVER
Bro these are freakin kids like wtf! That’s freaking amazing bravo
Parabéns a todos!!
These kids look younger than my schools honor, yet sound so much better. EXPLAIN?
Fantastic and not a music stand in sight.
I am doing this for my band concert/competition
This shit is way better than my high school band wtf???
Damn I am speechless
awesome musicians. so lucky to have majority yamaha instuments
My memory
hermoso!!
I’m surprised in how many girls play low brass
OLOKO OS JAPONES É MOH LOKÃO
BR CARAIOOO
I played this; it was amazing, I played principle 1st clarinet. Nice job, you guys (and go Korea for the win!). Nice musical balance, also! Keep up the good work! But, how do you guys memorize this???

That timpani man he is going places
Yeah.... he gotta go to the instrument repairman
I have the trumpet solo!!!
:OOOOOO im cryinggg
after watching this I feel like a noob now ;-;
Ive played this :D
Patella same I played it in the Irondale middle school band
where do they get all of the different types of instruments my band has ONE tuba
my 6th through 8th grade year, we didn't have a percussion section :/
If they memorized everything then what’s the point of even having a director?
Omg the timpani guy wth like omg
oboe solo part are very good
I thought this was a Japanese band lol anyways WHAT A TALENT!!
Do the have fun?
Im like confused at the clar part i cant play as fast as thay
The kid on timpani is my mood
I think dem timpanis need a replacement after his every performance lol
I feel like this a beginning band in Korea
can the percussion be any quieter
Wow
Hi, I will request this piece for my music teacher, lol, they are me. I don't want to. But I just memorized sheet music for every single song. Grade 5 out of 6. I remember a grade 3 so far because out 8th grade might not even get to grade 4(Hope that don't happen). Clarinet
I play 1st clarinet on the 3rd grade FOTG and it's really easy
A melhor
Why 5 dislikes????
The tenor sax part for this song is way way too intricate to be played by only one person with a band this large, barely heard her at all.
I just realized and I’m in 6:38 that this was all from memory
There's probably more musicians in this Orchestra than students that are in Sec 5 at my school
오
2019?
where the hell are their music stands
Whoa. First-rate!
Wow those clarinets. My bands clarinets sound like a bunch of squid wards
alsO where dat vibrato at
Fr though I noticed that
this is is what all county band is like in aisa
The flute solos are awesome. could use a little more volume, but i really like it.
Is this North OR South Korea?
what if they had music
