If it works like a real farm, you need more workers when harvesting and plowing and replanting, then you can have fewer to tend to the field the rest of the year. It might be worth putting extra families on the farm in autumn then reducing it through winter to summer. Also an animal might help with plowing
Really like your videos on development games like this! It's nice to watch someone do a sincere and educated try at making a good civilization/zoo/park whatever it may be! Especially since you care about aesthetics too, and not just pure efficiency
This is the first time I’ve seen someone not exploit the mechanics or use really weird shaped plots (not pointing fingers, but RCE did triangles) PS: maybe put a pack animal on the farm so they can plow faster

@pawsbuild it is more efficient to import grain rather than wheat. They are the same price and you so the threshing step, which in the case of your town, will skip the farmers having to transport the wheat to the farm house and back again. Hope this helps!
I get so excited every time you upload, this series and also the ethical zoo series are like my favorite thing to watch on youtube rn haha!! I also love every game you play, like I could watch you play anything lol like the one of that little storybook game!! Your channel is such a comfort to me thank you for doing what you do! :-)
PawsBuild You should think about purchasing the credit for the apples so you can have villagers harvest them in the town instead of getting importing them from another town. You could then export the extra apples to make some money. It would give the town another reliable food source since farming doesn’t bring in much.
I have watched a few other UA-camrs, Paws and they show that doing skinnier 0,5-0,6 morgan lots for farm vegie gardens work better with or without oxen ploughs. In fact the artisan vegie gardens should not be too long and perhaps wider they say and they can be handled by just the family living there and you can assign them to just look after that and others to specifically look after the farms so the artisan farmers don't leave their plots to sow the vegie plots and visa versa. They also say to do larger plot apple orchards up to 2 Morgans and they look after themselves.

As has been commented in the last episode, i think it would be more efficient to buy some oxen to help plow the fields. The previous harvest have failed cause of the large amount of time spent plowing and thus, buying an oxen saves time, increases the harvest and most likely opens up one or more families to be reassined elsewhere. Great gameplay regardless
I’m a full-on male but man do you have an attractive and calming voice. Everytime I watch Manor Lords from another UA-camr, I get annoyed by how annoying their voices are compared to yours. It got me to the point I only want to watch YOU play Manor Lords. Am I weird? Maybe😂

Yeh we fix the field issues in the next one by introducing ox ploughing ☺️ and yeh our main food source is the meat rather than farming so makes sense to just improve the fertility slowly over time with fallowing and take the hit now
