I'll need straightening done on my 94 Toyota pickup and wanted to know how it was done. Watching an expert do this is like zen!
I hope I can find a shop near me that uses the Blackjack system but I guess I'll use whoever is available. (and reasonable!)

That car would never be allowed back on the road in the UK. Chassis creases are weak spots.
We absolutely cut and reweld if needed. Creases are a no no! This car actually could not be repaired. The original owner, Lyn, shown here, used it for the video. This car was never driven again.

Wrecked cars are usually salvageable in my opinion, despite most people assuming they're junk. The problem is, most insurances determine that the cost of repair is higher than the car's value, so they junk it. (Which is understandable lol)
But if somebody comes along with the right tools and skill set, they can get themselves a good deal on a rebuilt car if they've got the time to spare!

This is the reason never buy Cars with salvage title cars are totaled by Insurance Company's for a reason, fact its impossible to bend steel back to the original same strength is was originally molded for. Sure anything can be straightened with enough power.
Been running salvage cars in our family for 50 years.....own 2 nice new ones now at 35% of the cost of new 17 Mercedes 18 silverado.....safe and you would never know......but if your frightened there not for u.....even run a 18 harley flood bike. 😂
A proper repair means removing damaged metal and installing good metal. On that car, it would likely mean the frame rails would be cut off past the kink and new rails sectioned in. If its done by the car company's recommended repair rules, it'll be as good as the factory.
You're absolutely right! This car was never driven again, only used to show how the machine sets up. This was the previous owner. All our current videos, are cars that are repairable, safe, and reliable.
