Corrie, I just love when you teach cooking! I make a very complicated recipe, my grandma’s, of yeast rolls and they are very special. However, I’m going to try this simple method for every day cooking for my husband. I always make Grandma’s yeast rolls at Christmas & Easter. It’s a tradition I have to keep up! Thanks 🙏 Blessings, Allison 🌱
0:19 Hello Korie, just wanted to send a different and I think even better fruit pizza. The dough is like cookie dough, can even choose to use a roll of prepared cookie dough. Preheat oven to 350. On bowl add 1/2 cup butter or margarine soft, 1 cup flour, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar mix until batter is mixed, press in greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 min, edges light brown. Cool. Next mix 1 8 oz cool whip, 1 8oz cream cheese, 1 tsp. Vanilla,1/3 cup sugar. Mix with mixer till mixed. Frost top of cool cookie crust. Add your choice: sliced strawberries, grapes, raspberries, blackberries, bananas, peaches, pineapple kiwi. Any fruit you like place on top, can even add chocolate chips. You can also use drained well canned fruit such as peaches, pineapple, mandarin oranges etc. cool Refrigerator left overs. EXCELLANT? IVE made it for our senior center, hospital, nursing Enjoy! Especially good in fruit season!
I just now took a batch of yeast rolls out of the oven using your recipe! Oh my word! This will be my "go to" recipe when I want to make yeast rolls. Thank you...thank you...thank you for sharing this recipe with us!
Thanks Corie I will definitely try this. The one thing that got me wanting to try these is the little time waiting for them to rise. We have an amazing Portuguese bakery close to us that adhere to the old ways. How’s Granny doing?❤️🙏🎉
Hello again! Such a blessing to see you and your Sis growing up on your channel. For these rolls, have you tried pulling them out of the oven about five minutes early to brush some butter on the tops of the rolls? You might be surprised at how they turn out! "We do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God's mouth!" God bless you!
Thanks, Corie! I've been making loaf bread in the bread machine...it takes 3 1/2 hours. I can't wait to try this recipe! I grind my own wheat (Thanks, Breadbeckers!) You're amazing, Corie! Love from SC, Jane ❤🙏 Still praying for you & Little Bit!😊
Thanks Corey, for that great recipe. I will definitely try it for my rolls. I have a recipe that I normally use but it takes a little over 1 hour to make. This will cut my time in half. I love yeast rolls! Hugs!
Wow!! Actually seems like a recipe I can manage!! Cory, I love the quality of your ingredients!! Thank you, sweetheart! Blessings to you and Austin! Remember to ask Jesus to make his home in your hearts
Glad you showed kneading by hand, not all of us can afford a stand mixer. I use peanut oil since it's a legume not a seed and its flavor is neutral. Melted lard would work too. I look forward to trying this recipe!
I just hit "PRINT", gotta try this one. I have a go-to roll (looks a lot like this one) BUT it has two rises, about 90 minutes total (and that recipe has been my 'easy/quicker' one). THIS looks like it might just be the thing. THANK YOU sweet Corie! 🙌🏼 💞
Great time saver! I must try this recipe, thanks! I've just started making bread in the past few months, and now make hamburger and hot dog buns, as well as loaf bread and dinner rolls, and keep them in the freezer. They keep so well, and thaw quickly, tasting just like they were baked that day! (the loaf bread is sliced before freezing, and little baggies of 2 slices each make it good for just a sandwich or to make garlic bread for dinner!)
I have that same recipe, its called hamburg buns. uses 2TBLs less water. its 425 degrees, but looks exact same. heres one for you. pumpkin loaves -2- grease and floured loaf pans 325 degrees 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. powder, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. cinn., 1 tsp. cloves, 1 tsp. nutmeg. mix. 2 cups sugar and 3/4 cups butter, mix till combined. 2 eggs, beat in 1 at a time to butter. stir in 1# pumpkin, last stir in flour. bake 65-70 minutes till tests done with toothpick. cool 10 minutes in pan. turn out to cool. my son loves these. I bake them in mini loaf pans for 20 minutes
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Fast yeast rolls. My aunt makes the best rolls but it's a process. This recipe is perfect! Thank you Corie!
Just made these right after seeing your video for my parents and girlfriend. Everyone loved them and my girlfriend and I were glad to have a Corie inspired part of the meal! Wish you and Katie blessings and good health ❤️😁
Corie you look so radiant, I love your hair style & your ear rings! The rolls look mighty larrapin! I'm gonna try out the recipe, thank you for sharing! God bless you & I hope y'all have a great week end! ❤
❤ Those will be delicious! I remember my first time making yeast rolls was when I had my Nana over for dinner (with my new husband). We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green salad and yeast roll's. She's been gone for a long time now but when that very special dinner comes to mind, and that I did it just for her, makes me happy.❤
Yum!! I'm gonna make this! I've always been nervous about making my own bread, but this seems simple! I'm sick of buying my super expensive non-GMO bread that is free of all of the hundreds of weird ingredients. I should totally just make my own. I bet those rolls would go good with soup!
Like minds think alike! I made yeast rolls for the first time in 40 years and they were wonderful. But there were two risings involved. I’m going to try yours this weekend!!
Hi Corrie: Your bread recipe is going to be your ace in the hole when you need quick rolls. I wanted to tell you what The Kneader Homesteader (Heather) does when she makes rolls. She’s excellent at baking all kinds of breads and rolls. It takes a couple hours rise time, but it’s worth it. When she’s putting everything in her mixer, she adds 1/4 cup of instant potato flakes and 1/4 cup of dry milk powder. It makes the best light and tender rolls you have ever had. Here is the recipe: In your mixer add: 1 1/2 cups warm water 2 tsp instant yeast 3 tbls sugar Then in this order add: 3 cups bread flour 1/4 cup dry milk powder 1/4 cup potato flakes 4 tbls soft butter 1 1/4 tsp salt 1 egg Mix to form a dough ball. Add more flour if you need to. Then knead 5-7 min. Rise 1 hour Roll out and shape roll balls. Rise 1 hour Bake 350 for 25-30 min. Then butter the tops of the rolls when done. 😮
Try brushing some butter on top of your rolls after they come out of the oven. Itskes them even better. Thankyou for this nice quick recipe! They look perfect.🩷
Thank you so much for the roll recipe! I love that it doesn't take too long to make and I'll be trying them out. I know my husband and son will be happy! Thanks again!
Love that the orig. calls for using mixer and you used hands on method, so now I know I can do the same and it will come out fine! Plus I too use avo. Oil❤ thanks for this!
They look so yummy! I went to the web site where you found the recipe and was excited to see these can be made with gluten free flour. I see rolls in our near future! 😁😊 Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Corie for this roll recipe. They look delicious. I have a roll recipe that takes 4 hours total, sometimes I don't have that much time. I'm going to try yours over the weekend. Have a blessed day.
Very nice video! I love that the rolls have a crispy crust. I haven’t made bread in a long time, but my husband made your Mom’s dinner roll recipe for Christmas. They were good too. I will give your recipe a try. I like how quickly they come together. Rolls like that are great for small sandwiches. Thank you for sharing. ❤
That is a great recipe! I'll try it out in a few days. If you cut that dough ball in half, and then half again, portioning is simpler. Yall take care, and happy hunting!
I love homemade rolls but usually so long to make as you stated. I'm going to try this, my Grandkids love yeast rolls with honey butter . Will be trying this recipe ,thanks. May God contuine to bless you and your family🙏🏼🐾💞
This recipe will come in handy when you are juggling a newborn (or a toddler) and trying to get supper on the table. Love it!

Here is the recipe:
In your mixer add:
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 tsp instant yeast
3 tbls sugar
Then in this order add:
3 cups bread flour
1/4 cup dry milk powder
1/4 cup potato flakes
4 tbls soft butter
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
Mix to form a dough ball. Add more flour if you need to. Then knead 5-7 min.
Rise 1 hour
Roll out and shape roll balls.
Rise 1 hour
Bake 350 for 25-30 min.
Then butter the tops of the rolls when done. 😮
Try brushing some butter on top of your rolls after they come out of the oven. Itskes them even better. Thankyou for this nice quick recipe! They look perfect.🩷
