I’m having troubles with my truck starting and this is what it’s led me to. I’ve replaced all components related to starting. Now I’m learning by jiggling the shifter I can get the ignition to engage. Now I’m thinking these are shot and this is what’s causing it not to register the ignition being engaged. *note Truck will start without issue sometimes but most of the other times adjusting and jiggling the shifter is only thing that makes a difference

At 5:20 how do you remove the whole shifter tube “plunger” and replace it?
