❤ Free On The Inside: This project is quite special because it's first time I have ever had the chance to participate in something like this, interpreting a poem created by a man in a Correctional Institution and creating a piece of art to bring his written words to life. I am also particularly excited because this is my first public Augmented Reality artwork and can be activated through my Instagram filter. Please see links above!

What do you do when then hurt, sadness and disappointments starts with the eyes, enters the mind, heart and reaches the soul?
When ever in a hot summer day or night, thoughts of a straitjacket because the violent world that is seen and felt…is so, so cold!
Giving a strong and prideful smile, while tears unseen flowing inside uncontrollable, freely but costly…and oh so wild!
When the emptiness of sorrows is overwhelming and unspeakable…knowing you’ve given none than your best!
For when the hunger you attain is gone, full of it! No longer hungry you turn to you new best friend “rest”!
But then comes reality alone with it’s haters that have been around since the beginning of time,
Interrupting this special friendship thinking you process the only keys to this home that’s now is a battlefield that once were called “a piece of mind”!
There’s so many levels to this world called “Love”; the smiles, the frowns, the smartness and dumbness…we’re learning something new everyday, even after death when we’re flying with the wings of a dove!
Then we’re humble learning innocently like a little child experiencing the good and bad forever learning…this is an example

Hii, thanks for your content, i was wondering do u think the image tracking will work on picture that printed on cloth surface?
It will probably work but make sure that your textile print is on a fabric that isn't too textured. I have seen lots of these before, so try it! Let me know :)

This is great! I definitely want to incorporate AR to my work. Do you know if it works on concave surfaces or just flat? I can’t seem to find any info online.
Hi! It will not work as well, or maybe at all on concave surfaces because the tracking will be off. I will try to record a short to show you an example of what it may look like. Results will probably vary from surface to surface and will also change depending on the type of effect you are using.

@@cativillegas sorry for the unclear question🥲. I meant the filter you made can’t be used for other artworks, the filter will show the animation when it sees your illustration only. So I’m a bit curious how you set this in SparkAR😄

Hi! I'm glad you liked the process! That's called a QR code. Just google it and you will find a bunch of free sites that generate them. :)

Hola y gracias! yo creo que el que usé para este proyecto fue de QRCode Monkey. Ahora estoy usando una extensión de Chrome (Google) para generar los códigos QR. Espero que eso te sirva.

Debes usar la funcionalidad del "target tracker" en Spark AR. Los pajaros fueron animados en After Effects y exportados como una secuencia de imagenes en el programa.
This is amazing. I have a quick question about the process of creating augmented art. I created the animation but how do I make other people see my art move. I opened the link in your instagram but it just makes your art move. Please help. Thank you
Hi Noor. Thanks for the comment. You have to create an animation for each separate illustration/artwork you want to activate with AR. This means that each artwork will have an animation plus an Instagram filter that must be used specifically on that art in order for it to work. You can't utilize my filter on other pieces of art because it was not made for that. Hope this made sense, let me know

Amazing talent. I want to learn this badly. I didn’t go to your blog and scanned the QR code but says that my iPhone 12 cannot use the filter 🤷🏻♂️.

you make the filter specifically for IG/FB with a software called Spark AR. QR codes can be generated through multiple sites, just search for those on Google

Thanks Marko. I use Spark AR for Instagram/Facebook filters and EffectHouse for TikTok.
