    I'll be honest, from all of the other AR artists I've found online, yours is probably the most elaborate and also tries to do something different/unique with the technology rather than just layers that pop out or a very simple animation. It's a next level for sure.

    Marco, you just changed my life, i am beginner XR Artist but with lifetime love in drawings. Never pursue. Just recently.
    I have fantasy book where our emotions and feelings has own characters which i created to understand complexity of mindset and wellbeing in visual way as I am visual person. I would love to create engaging way to learn about mental heath for young generation but also for everyone who is interested in Fantasy world and is visual person.
    I just discovered how amazing this world of fantasy is and realized that I was hiding it as it wouldn't be accepted in my relationships. Now I am Single and feel amazingly grateful for all what artists like you have been already doing.
    You do such an amazing and wonderful art that you have my hugest respect.
    I just read a Quote on one billing during my scooter food delivery drives. It was very raining. Yea, Btw I quit corporate job 7months ago in my 38 to follow my love for art.
    The quote on the Old Building in rainy day was from Aristotle:
    "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."
    Excellence is your Habit. Thank you very much for all your sharing. I Believe it will change lives of many artists.
    I definitely know that there will be always one, me.
    Thank you
    Tomy

    I feel like the way you incorporate hand drawing on paper all the way through the digital process into VR is analogous to the way using tube tech to process audio signals into the digital realm, especially with acoustic sound sources, has kept digital musical art development organic and therefore fresh. I know how to use 3D design software, but I still prefer to start every design on graph paper with pencil, ruler etc. Creativity flows best for me when it flows from the hands. Your work is some of the first I've seen to be able to push that type of organic creativity successfully into the new frontier of digital media. You'll be an 8 fig crypto artist in the near future. Let us know if you wanna come to Nashville to make some VR music videos just for fun.

    • @marc0matic
      @marc0matic  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Thanks. Yes same I prefer to sketch everything first on paper. I also like to incorporate the sketches into the work too. I'd totally be down for that. If International borders ever open again 😅

      @@marc0matic What do you use to do the ar really.

    • @marc0matic
      @marc0matic  3 роки тому +1

      @@jayman6608 There's a different range of AR platforms you can try out. Nowadays they do roughly the same things. Facebook has it's own platform called Spark AR and Snapchat has Lens Studio. Both of which I use depending on the project. There's Also Unity 3D but that requires a bit more set up

    • @jayman6608
      @jayman6608 3 роки тому

      @@marc0matic Thank you for replying. I'm familiar with Facebook, and Instagram. Both of which are Facebook. My concerns with those are censorship. If I wanted to do this on my own would I have to set up A website for people to go to? Can it be set up in the cloud somehow? Is there someone I could talk to who would be willing to assist me in setting something like this up? Most of the artwork I'm going to use is family friendly, However some of it's going to be more risky. I have found a couple of places that offer the service, however they charge Pretty heavily. And then you only get a few years at best that your animation will work. I've looked into unity as well, However I'm not quite sure how you would distribute it among people, as it looks like it is mostly something you have to directly load onto a phone ,or device. I'm having a real hard time finding information on basically just sitting up an app ,or someone can click on it ,and view my art.

    • @marc0matic
      @marc0matic  2 роки тому +1

      For me I find it more advantageous because hand sculpting and modeling feels more intuitive and faster to modeling with a mouse or stylus. With Gravity Sketch I can rapidly create and iterate on my objects and scene. It's really each to their own and what they feel more comfortable with. Also, creating in sketch helps give me a sense of proportion and scale so everything is the right size for a VR or AR Experience

    Your work is amazing. The workflow you have is the exact one I’ve been trying to perfect. I love working in Gravity Sketch but have been trying to figure out how to get the same shapes as the ones I created in Vr when I export to Blender.
    I saw you working on a big project in VR with lots of parts. Do you decimate and/or do the repotology on all of that stuff when you get it into Blender? Or maybe just the parts you want to animate?
    Gravity Sketch is still so new that it’s hard to find answers to this question.

    • @marc0matic
      @marc0matic  3 роки тому +1

      Heya! So it's usually by a case by case basis. I generally try not to go over the top with polycount from the very start of creating something so i try to be aware of how high detailed my meshes are. I mostly work with box modeling techniques over subdiv sculpting just so there's less of a need to retopologise my models. Sometimes I'll decimate my geometry in Blender if I find the polycount is too high for deployment to AR.

      when I started doing AR back in 2017 I built my own AR app using Unity 3D. But nowadays there are a few free AR platforms that let you create AR content for free. Facebook has Spark AR and Snapchat has Lens Studio. Both are quite good if youre a beginner.
