I'll be honest, from all of the other AR artists I've found online, yours is probably the most elaborate and also tries to do something different/unique with the technology rather than just layers that pop out or a very simple animation. It's a next level for sure.
Marco, you just changed my life, i am beginner XR Artist but with lifetime love in drawings. Never pursue. Just recently. I have fantasy book where our emotions and feelings has own characters which i created to understand complexity of mindset and wellbeing in visual way as I am visual person. I would love to create engaging way to learn about mental heath for young generation but also for everyone who is interested in Fantasy world and is visual person. I just discovered how amazing this world of fantasy is and realized that I was hiding it as it wouldn't be accepted in my relationships. Now I am Single and feel amazingly grateful for all what artists like you have been already doing. You do such an amazing and wonderful art that you have my hugest respect. I just read a Quote on one billing during my scooter food delivery drives. It was very raining. Yea, Btw I quit corporate job 7months ago in my 38 to follow my love for art. The quote on the Old Building in rainy day was from Aristotle: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." Excellence is your Habit. Thank you very much for all your sharing. I Believe it will change lives of many artists. I definitely know that there will be always one, me. Thank you Tomy
I feel like the way you incorporate hand drawing on paper all the way through the digital process into VR is analogous to the way using tube tech to process audio signals into the digital realm, especially with acoustic sound sources, has kept digital musical art development organic and therefore fresh. I know how to use 3D design software, but I still prefer to start every design on graph paper with pencil, ruler etc. Creativity flows best for me when it flows from the hands. Your work is some of the first I've seen to be able to push that type of organic creativity successfully into the new frontier of digital media. You'll be an 8 fig crypto artist in the near future. Let us know if you wanna come to Nashville to make some VR music videos just for fun.

I have been trying to get this working myself without success. I have been thinking that I need to use a mask some how. Am I on the right track?
Great to see you have been playing with those tools. The Mask effect is made possible using a custom shader which plays with Z depth. You can create a custom culling mask shader in whatever AR tool you prefer like Unity, Spark AR or Lens Studio
@@marc0matic thank you for your response this is very useful information. I will look into custom culling shaders. I have been using Blender to export gltf files to Adobe Aero but it looks like I need to expand my horizons. Thanks again!

Amazing work! I am wondering how do you convert the 2D pictures to 3D model components at 9:16? I would like to draw all components first and then assemble them in Blender or Gravity Sketch, searched the web but unable to find the guide for it. If there is any step by step tutorial that I can be directed to that will also be great! Thanks!
Would this be saving as jpeg , converting to svg or ideally saving as svg if that’s an option then import into software like blender? Then do the side angle and construct a model based on tracing the vector? Or is that wrong? lol. Great question. Did you ever do that video by chance? I’d take a look to too.I m a drawing of shoes I designed that aren’t standard shape/material.. trying to figure that out
Depending on the experience I use Spark (Meta) Lens Studio (Snapchat), Unity or Adobe Aero to bring them to life. Lately been playing with TikToks own AR platform Effect House and looks really promising.
For me I find it more advantageous because hand sculpting and modeling feels more intuitive and faster to modeling with a mouse or stylus. With Gravity Sketch I can rapidly create and iterate on my objects and scene. It's really each to their own and what they feel more comfortable with.
