OC here I absolutely need the bike to excite me. I'm not just an A-B rider anymore. When I was commuting I didn't care, the ride was enough, but now that I don't commute 2 wheel life is about excitement and the bike is part of that.

I picked this up yesterday in all black with quick shifter/auto blipper, carbon parts, Full akra exhaust and it’s been flashed and makes 191HP at the wheel. 2019 model, only done 2000 miles. Can’t wait to pick it up next week

Had a 929 for 10 years. The cockpit views brought back a huge heaping of nostalgia. Big tank into a skinny front cowl. The 1000 still has the feel of it. And yeah, the on/off throttle abruptness was on the 929 too.

Yeah but 2021 is light and feels like a 600cc. Is over kill but you have the power if you need it. Usually 600 would be plenty speed and perfect weight but again this 1000RR is light.

Hey, I currently have a Z900, and I'm not too happy with it. It feels very underpowered and doesn't have any real hit in the power-band. I'm thinking about buying a CBR1000RR. Does the CBR feel a great deal more powerful, and does it have a top-end rush of power? I'm really wanting that thrill of power that the Z900 lacks. Also, is the CBR comfortable enough for a semi-long distance ride?

Love your videos, I just wanted to throw this out. I recently bought a 2006 Yamaha FZ1. It has that horrible throttle lag, Yamaha actually shuts off the fuel, it’s like turning off the key every time it decelerates, then you accelerate there is a lag until the fuel comes back on. They do this for fuel economy. There is a simple fix at least for the FZ1- flash the ECU and get rid of that throttle lag, also, when I had it flashed I got 50% more power in the three lower gears. Sounds like Honda has put a lot of restrictions in the ECU. Just thought I’d mention this.

This is the last gen fireblade which i think was sold from 2017-2020. The new base model one is the Cbr-1000rr-R and top spec Cbr-1000rr-R SP (The base model is the same bike but without the extra bits). Though the confusion may come from the fact that they still sell those old ones next to the new gen ones in the US. The old fireblades had a lot more comfort but wayyyy less power, because power has really not been the main point of the fireblade until the latest generation, it was the smoothness.

QUICKSHIFTERS! Can anyone tell me if there’s an aftermarket up AND DOWN quick shifter with auto-blip and if so what’s a single particular example of one you know of? Do they work on all bikes? Do they require cable throttle or throttle by wire or ?

How are the ergos compared to the cbr650r? I’m told the cbr1000rr is a somewhat more relaxed ergonomically compared to the 600rr or 1000rr-r
