    After a terrible 2022, shell-shocked financial backers have a lot to think about and losses to recover from. An expansion report and a wealth of other data did little to alter assumptions that the Central bank would likely keep raising interest rates regardless of whether the economy slows down. This implies that portfolios will experience more losses during the first quarter of 2023. I'm currently at a crossroads deciding whether to exchange my $250k security/stock portfolio; how might the continuous market volatility work to my advantage?

      Concentrate on two main objectives. First and foremost, keep yourself safe by knowing when to sell stocks to reduce losses and maximize gains. Second, prepare yourself to gain from a market turnaround. I advise you to seek the advice of a representative or financial counselor

      crunch9876 Some companies will be able to service their debt given that they can generate operating profits, however in the long term, this may not be the case due to the ending of the business cycle and its impact on consumer demand. Therefore, in the long run default rates rise similar to what we saw in the housing bubble 10 years ago.

    There is nothing like gaining imaginary wealth. Numbers that reflect Gambles on future creations.

    • @waspishhen1
      @waspishhen1 6 років тому +4

      Face Palm so revenue gains, and net income increases have nothing to do with real term gains, but are somehow imaginary wealth gains and gambles. Okay. Lmao

    • @facepalm5134
      @facepalm5134 6 років тому

      shawn gill shawn gill No, the amount of money being pumped into the stocks and real assets is real in some sense. They aren't gaining actual value. The value is just being inflated by Banks around the world creating money from no tangible progress. Yes it's real gains because you have more numbers. If you wait for the economy to catch up to it those gains aren't actually realized.
      Those are imaginary wouldn't you say? I can give links supporting my idea if you'd like.
      The money being created is the gamble on future progress. Sure if you buy up everything I imagine you can't lose in the long run.

    • @kfcthanksgiving
      @kfcthanksgiving 6 років тому

      Face Palm macroeconomics says otherwise. Fed adjusts the money supply (which is imaginary in the short run, say 6 months), then loan and consumer behavior is nudged. If the nudge is precise, the added money creates value in the long run. If not, you possibly go into a recession and the value of the dollar gradually rises back to equilibrium. The dollar will always reflect real GDP value in the long run though

    • @facepalm5134
      @facepalm5134 6 років тому +1

      KFCthanksgiving I agree with everything you said. We just disagree on terms. The growth currently being realized in my view point is in the minds of those profiting from it. If there isn't any actual real tangible value being created but people are profiting due to over evaluations(or forced inflation). it's imaginary(all In their head). Until the economy does equalize or real tangible wealth is generated in it's place
      The stock market is currently playing hot potato and whoever is stuck with it at the end will be the loser.

    Huge respect for Buffett but times have changed. He is missing out on a massive opportunity to build his family fortune with an investment into blockchain technology such as Bitcoin. Buffett is worth over 80 Billion USD. If he put 1 Billion into Bitcoin it would be worth over 10 Billion when Bitcoin hits 100,000 USD in price.
