Hi mickey drove past the Palm Bay exit on 95 yesterday when I went to pick up my daughter from UCF... thought about you. Hope everything is going well. Right now it's miserably hot and the unseasonably windy. Wish I could get a chance to get out. Everything is good here, hope the same for you.

Heath - when fishing solo on the boat how many rods can you handle on your own before things get out of hand. In the near future I will be fishing solo and value your opinion Thank you
I typically troll 2 Rods with no problem... I wouldn't do more than 3
Can I planer troll with a bent rod?
This topic is so frustrating when the driver of the boat and the person controlling the rods are not on the same page. Right when you think you have everything set the captain bumps up 2 or 3 knots and the line starts creeping.

I assume you are talking about a bent butt rod.... yes is the answer
@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing yes- I meant bent butt…I got the adjustable butt on it- was thinking about standing it up in the upright position when trolling- it is hard to know when the planer is set with the bent butt…so glad to see your back- hope you and the family are well
