Thank you guys again for putting this tournament on. One minor thing. In your 8th match on this video, the players should be switched. NotAlexV was the Glacius/Rash and Daa Chronicle was the ARIA.
KI 2013 is such a great game! It's a shame that it launched on the Xbox One because it never really got the love it deserved as it was overshadowed by the atrocious launch of the console. I still think it has one of if not the most diverse character rosters from a gameplay perspective, and the breaker/counter breaker gameplay means you see so much more variety in combos than in any other fighting game, which is really refreshing. I hope it either gets a sequel, or can maintain an active playerbase moving forward.
While Im ok if they breathe new life in this game by giving us a new stage and every character an Ultimate. The fact that a KI2 hasnt been greenlit is a travesty

Being owned by Microsoft has hurt the franchise more than helping it. Apparently Microsoft gave the green light to get a new game but "no dev" which is weird with how a lot of companies love making fighting games. There were rumors about Bandai wanting to make the sequel but nothing happened. Microsoft needs to let them go.
Those were some real sweet matches. Lots of clutch combacks, something you don't see too often outside of KI but that's the beauty of it, the breaker / counter mechanics make this game so engaging to watch and play.
This was truly a treat! This was my first real exposure to KI and I was hooked once I saw Riptor. I never owned a Xbox but I am going to buy it just so I can play Riptor! This game truly is hype and needs more main stage attention.

Cant believe it's been 10 years. I remember when this game first previewed and, as a huge fan of the original KI, KI Gold, and sabrewulf player, have followed this game closely ever since. KI4 would be amazing!!

Here's a serious question, where did Nicky disappear to??? Has he stopped playing, is he not gaming anymore, did he get sick, did he not want this update that evened the playing field towards all players and left KI entirely? I miss his Monday's and Friday's tournament streams!!!!
When will we get a new killer instinct. It’s been years I’m thankful for the update but when is iron galaxy going to make a new game. People don’t realize that this is the best competition fighting game ever with the way that’s it’s made and that is what separates it from all the others. I really want to see iron galaxy make another KI and Xbox really needs some new games to bring to their console because it’s lacking in games . I hope someone at Xbox ask iron galaxy to make another fighting game because they do an amazing job I also wish that this game was on more platforms because this game needs more recognition . I think all fighting games should be on all platforms just like first person shooters so they can reach a larger audience of players.
Hey! No, he's not low tier. People have won tournaments with him and he was left alone in the latest patch. Before that he struggled against the consensus top 5 but then again everyone did. Several of the best players have him in their arsenals - check out Nicky using him - and I expect we'll see more of him now that his worst matches have been nerfed!
These announcers reminding me why I stopped watching these. I want to see and hear the FIGHT. This ain't the 1930's, I don't need a blow by blow or whatever random conversation they have going on over the fight about cream cheese. WE ARE HERE FOR THE FIGHT.

Blame Microsoft’s half-assed marketing, which still occurs to this day because they’re more interested in Game Pass subscriber numbers.
Plus the game was not strong enough to help the Xbox alone the game was a mess full of pay walls hard controls and a big learning curve
