Cutting Instructions: I had to make a few changes to the cutting sizes so that they would fit much easier when sewing the blocks together. 😊 1- 5” Square 4- 3” Squares (Light Color) 4- 3” Squares (Dark Color) 4- 2 3/4” Squares (Corners) Take one of each of your 3” squares and draw a line from one corner to the other. Sew 1/4” seam on each side of the drawn line. Next, cut where you drew your line and now you should have 2 half square triangles. Press your triangles. Next- Trim your half square triangles to 2 3/4” square. Once you have done that, proceed to sewing your triangles together to make your star points. Lay out your block and then sew the rest of the block together. 😊
Hi Sandra- Yes. I made an error in the trimming. After the 3” Squares are sewn together and you cut them apart, you will trim each to 2 3/4” before sewing them together.

I think what you did was made your corner pieces 3” and it should of been 2 3/4”

Can you use your accuquilt cutter and dies? Which one?
Yes you can 😊 I will be using my 3” GO Die.
I just used the 3” die and it finished at 2 1/2”. We need it to finish at 2 3/4”. I recommend a 3 1/2” die so there will be enough to square up. 😊
Is the quilt having all the sewteeth blocks or there different blocks?
The blocks for the Sawtooth Star are all the same just using different fabrics. 😊
