With the fire damaged building with the missing roof, have you considered flying a drone above the building to get a birds eye view picture of upstairs? I did that to this house when I wanted to model where the brackets should be placed for my solar panels and I found it to be quite accurate (about 5cm error over 12m) (for as along as you can include in the picture a known length for reference). You can also get drones with protected rotors which you can fly about inside a building, which would be ideal for taking pictures and videos for disaster jobs like that. Unsure if it could really be a substitute to looking in person, but at least you can't fall through the floor!
Could you please tell me if a Chartered Building Surveyor is the best person to contact if we would like to understand the impact of tree removal in the vicinity of our home? For context this is a tree without a TPO in our garden which we would like to remove and we would like a formal opinion/report to assess the safety of doing this based on proximity to the main house and conservatory. The house was there before the tree but it’s a substantial one. Thank you.
Love these videos! I’m a 3rd year student and finding these videos so interesting
Thank you for the always informative videos
Many thanks for sharing. Great to see the variety of works.
Excellent really interesting
Great videos, as always.
Interesting video that makes me wonder if it’s something I should have considered as a career. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

We have a drone, just don’t use it all that much. With the whole roof structure being new, we can rationalise its design as we are starting again.
@@westonesurveyors8139 Fair enough that makes sense.
That roof in Sheffield was shocking.
