There's no wondering about it. I'm cursed af. Back in my junior year I lost my gf at the time, broke my wrist, crashed my car, and in my mom's car (she was driving) ended up getting rear ended at the hospital I was at. Then on our way back to the car we found out it was keyed. (Btw it was a hit and run and the keying and this is a $45k Buick) we finally got home and the first thing I do is trip on my way inside and I get a bloody nose. That was by far the shittiest day of my life. On the other hand my best friend fell off a cliff head first into a rock 20ft below and somehow survives with a couple stitches and bruises. If that happened to me I'd be dead.

Also, go through any family - especially extended family as you've done here - you'll find similar incidents. It's not a curse, it's nature. Just in my own family - all my grandparents died within two years of each other, one of my uncles committed suicide, another uncle died from pancreatic cancer, yet another uncle died of...something...my own brother has schizophrenia, my mother recently got Crohn's disease and has major heart problems, my father has the diabetus, so I'll probably get it too, and so on and so forth, you get the idea.
