When Blackie was making his earnest speech about his doctors, was anyone else imagining him breaking into 'I don't need no doctor' or is that just me...?! lol.

I got the debut W.A.S.P. album in 1984 when I was 23 and I played it relentlessly (it might've played a factor in my first marriage failing) but now fast forward 40 years and I'm 63 and I have tickets to see W.A.S.P. in November in Orlando and incredibly it's the 40th anniversary of the debut album and they're gonna play it from start to finish... Sometimes things just fall perfectly into place!
... I was 13 years old when WASP's debut album came out. Blackie's music, voice and stage image just tore my soul apart. I knew who I had to become... Years passed, many years passed. I have been performing with my band Demons Of Guillotine for 25 years now, we have released several albums. But every time I go on stage, the indomitable spirit of Wild Child takes over me... I did not become a Rock Star, I did not go on long tours, millions of people do not know me, but I am happy that I still make my music, my shows. And it is for Blackie that I am grateful for who I have become.
You know what I respect the most from WASP in this video? They’re playing live. No BS; it’s live. And actually that’s saying a lot nowadays. Blackie’s voice sounds great.
This. THIS. Right here. Should dispel any myths if this dude still has it. This mofo needs nothing. Now the band is indeed using enhancement at times. But Blackie still has the voice and can still hit the notes. He just proved it.
@@listerine414. They use enhancement on chorus', chants, etc. I'm against all that but everybody's doing it now. But you heard for yourself he can still hit the notes. That's what I meant my point to be.
Blackie get better soon buddy. You know lot of this younger generation don’t get hard work and dedication and working through pain. Prime example right there. Rock on Blackie!
They're getting older, but who isn't? They're still rocking hard, in fact i think they're holding up their performance quality better than most bands. Love it. Love these guys. True flag bearers for 80s metal.
They're holding up their performance quality with backing tracks. He sounds just like he did in '84, because those are the vocal tracks he's lip syncing to.
@@ADAM_RECORDS_LIVE_OCTAVERN It's unbelievable because he's lip syncing. He sounds as good as he did 40 years ago, because those 1980's vocal tracks are the ones he pantomimes to.
Wow, Blackie's voice stills sounds as great as ever. I've only ever seen WASP live once, around 1992 at the legendary Marquee Club here in London on the Crimson Idol tour. That album is still one of my all time favourites. Thanks for posting this great footage.
