Man I can't tell you guys enough how these videos make my weekend. I was watching some boxing fights and I throw UA-cam on to see this. Appreciate what you guys do. This stuff needs to be documented in history for real. You give us the viewers not only a POV we'll most likely never see, but it's a history lesson to show when you think your job is tough, look what these miners working conditions were. WILD!
I'm a 74 yrs. Young lady in Michigan and il hooked on your channel. But question...explain gob wall? And what is the yellow orange muck? I think of the miners who spent their lives down there! Tough men!! You guys make me nervous in some of the mines with cracked ceilings. No claustrophobia there!!! God bless!!!
Yea f that chair. I'm creeped out and I am not even physically there. This whole place screams biology. I believe Roger is right. You can't unsee it 5:50
I worked in the underground coal mines for years,42" clearance up to 10' clearance. Thanks for having videos that bring back memories, some good ones and some not so good.
Holy Crap! That's insane! The sight of the water worries me. At exactly 9:30 in this video, you can hear a creaking sound 😳! Me, myself, I'd be worried about dead air! It's astonishing that all that stuff is still there, untouched! Awesome Video! Thank You I wouldn't have made it to the chair, let alone, sit in it!
This Explor part 3 was so awesome, I had to watch It twice, The hell- sickle, the coal carts, the colors of the mine, the water, the tracks, the chair and suspense! Everything about it is phenomenal. Can't wait for part 4!
I was waiting on this and wow it was worth the wait. Awesome! and creep factor through the roof. Thank you so much, but please, please stay safe, that stagnant water freaks me. Bless 💖
What an amazing adventure, you two! Phil; this is the craziest mine maze yet. And…the eye brow has spoken; stay out, stay safe. In your case, it’s go in, stay safe. Thank you both. Be careful, take care.
Ty for all that u guys do I love watching what u find can’t wait for part 4 and again stay safe also pack a back up battery if ya have one that place is huge thanks again
I'm in Australia and can guarantee you won't find anything like this mine left here. I spent so long paused on the upturned cart, that when you spotted the others on the track I almost had a heart attack haha. Those ore carts would need to be going back to the late 1880_1890's surely. I don't think the Gramby style ore carts was used until the early 1900's. Thankyou for sharing these beauties.
I'm just thinking. This mine is big and the dates say it was worked during WW2. This mine most likely supplied much coal that fed the industrial war effort. A piece of forgotten history along with the people that worked it. Nice job guys!
Great Video. I shared another video from this series with my cousin who is in his 70's. He wanted to see more. So he got this one two. Now we have seen at least two of three from this series. It is AWESOME!!!
New subscriber! These are unbelievable. I've worked in salt mines 2400 feet underground, but these coal mines are a nightmare. They go everywhere. You should try to research the mine shaft drawings. Looking forward to part 4. Syracuse NY 🤝🤝🇺🇸
9:02 That coal-cart is such a killer find! Seeing that it's a certain distance off to the right of the tracks... They might have just had a few guys tip it Once onto it's side, and then tip Twice to get it up side down - Think Flipping Your Bike - to work on it's chain.. *This makes it a whole lot easier to service things like axles / bearings / wheels / etc.
My initials at the start wasn't even born yet ! What a mine it goes on and on like the song 🎶 ! The rails coal carts and artifacts left behind awesome stuff guys ! They built some nice walls , ghosts from mines past sitting in that chair ! Awesome walk through, thank you and stay safe ! Part four nice 👊
50 years ago I did a logistic plan for a storm tunnel explorations you've done, but with 4 buddies. THEY DID IT WITHOUT ME! But followed my plan. I did tell one about your stuff, because I'm amazed at what you get to see. Not sure I could do some of that stuff. But wouldn't complain if given the chance!
Brother I just want to let you know that I really enjoy your videos definitely a lot better when you got somebody with you it's just absolutely amazing I would love to do that unfortunately here in Florida I don't think there is anything that
No, I'm good just looking at the chair! What made me rewind was the face on the beam. About 11:15 on the right side on the floor. Maybe I just need sleep😂
You should take a good camera down for still shots up some of those caves they would make one of a kind wall canvas's no one else would capture those shots for sure I definitely buy one if they were in your merch..love ya hard work ❤
Imagine the equipment hiding at the very bottom of every mine where the mine pool is... That stuff was so deep nobody wanted to bring it back out... There could be anything underwater down there... Little locomotives nobody's ever seen!!... Or going to see again. 😔
You might exaggerate your enthousiasm a bit in the narration for the viewers, but if I were down there hearing you, it would only add to my own excitement! And once in a while a big grin from ear to ear, man you seem like an awesome friend to be doing this with :D
Yay...new episode 🤜🤛 I have a question being I thought it was dangerous to disturb stagnant water like that that it would let up harmful gases of some kind. is that not true or only in certain situations cuz I see you just slosh right through stuff.
@AudaciousAmber Yes it could be dangerous. In the part 1 video, me and Justin were the first to walk through that flood tunnel in decades. We kept smelling a rotten egg smell, which is hydrogen sulfide. H2S can be deadly in considerated amounts in places without circulation. Fortunately wind was blasting through the tunnel and dispersing it quickly.
I wont say where this is for obvious reasons. My Grandfather worked here and got black lung. It operated from the early 1900's to 1936 I believe. Then reopened during the war for the anthracite coal, which went straight to the steel mills for the war effort. It did close in the 1950's because it was to expensive to keep mining it. There is still plenty of good coal down there just to expensive to remove. A wealthy family in the area bought all the above ground buildings after it closed for the scrap and repurpose value.
Would you sit in that death chair?... Me, no absolutely not!
Hell why not what's the worst that could happen besides sitting the ground for a minute or two and some laughter lol 🤣
Yes absolutely love the chair and the old phone everything man it's just absolutely amazing
No, don't want to break it
I so want to sit on “it”😊
Hell yeah I would!!!
These videos are great. Thanks for sharing your experience. So much history.
Thank you to you and your adventurous comrade. Your efforts are appreciated.

The gob wall is waste Rock stacked up to support the roof where the coal is removed and the orange color is acid mine drainage.
This is an amazing mine….thank you for sharing this with us!!
Probably the creepiest chair I’ve ever seen, and no I wouldn’t sit in it either!! Roll on part 4. Truly stunning video. Be safe out there.🇬🇧
Yea f that chair. I'm creeped out and I am not even physically there. This whole place screams biology. I believe Roger is right. You can't unsee it 5:50

Wow, that place is a labyrinth of tunnels! And I'd name the stalactites "Hell Sickles"

Heck yeah!
DUDEEEEE!!!!!! WHAT!!!! LOL!!!!! The 💺!! Ya need a mine chair emoji!!! Lol Awesome mine.
On the turned over cart you can see dampening springs in the hitch setup. Interesting.
Pretty cool. I'll have to check that out. I saw something under there that almost looked like torsion bars
Imagine the equipment hiding at the very bottom of every mine where the mine pool is... That stuff was so deep nobody wanted to bring it back out... There could be anything underwater down there... Little locomotives nobody's ever seen!!... Or going to see again. 😔
Kill the torches let us see just how pitch black it is😂 such a good explore
Another awesome should bring sprit in one of your next mine trips
You might exaggerate your enthousiasm a bit in the narration for the viewers, but if I were down there hearing you, it would only add to my own excitement! And once in a while a big grin from ear to ear, man you seem like an awesome friend to be doing this with :D
If there was a description of hell this tunnel would be it! That's crazy
That's an impressive mine. Those stalactites are amazing!
SUPER DUPER FINDS !!! Love it !
Amazing place. Totally huge and interesting. Don't know how you guys find your way back out. I would definitely sit in that chair 😊
The floor is hot lava!
I would definitely sit in the chair, but alas, I can not. I don't have the cojones to go down in the mine that deep 😂
When you hear the words "Whoa!!! Where does this go"!!!?
It's going to be interesting. 😂😊
No death chair for me... Love the artifacts, though!
That was sick!❤

Another great video. I was looking forward to it. How far down do you think you were?
Do you think the section with the track ties against the wall might be because they used the track somewhere else in the mine?
@BALLzak2323 that's a very good theory!
Thanks! I always love going into caves and mines would be cool too. Wish I could explore something like in person. But will enjoy the videos
Yes we will see you in the next hole🔥
Famously First! Can we make this one go viral? It’s in your 🙌 Like, Share, Subscribe…And Let’s Go!🎉

@@drewgrob9791 🤫
Thank you !WOW! They were "mining" an old world building . A ruin. #meltology #meltrix #meltedbricks rock'd
Awesome mine. From the dates, the operation most likely really ramped up during WWII. Possibly?
Amazing finds once again!! 😮😮😮
I'm sooo sitting in the haunted chair 😅
I wouldn't sit in the chair.. my fat ass would go right through it! Lol
What's on the board at 2:28 that you fuzzed out? Names?
@@BT-ir5zl Simply a number that identifies the mine
You can do 10 vids of this mine, Get through the HOLE thing?
My biggest fear would be no lights!! I hope you guys brought mountains of batteries!!
❤
I'm going to have to find out where I put the pin on my maps but a rake has been spotted in the southern part of Pennsylvania.
A what?
What type of minerals are seeping down? Does anyone know by the color? Interesting...
It looks like it is probably iron bacteria.
I don't know, but i feel like somebody out there would really value some samples from these difficult to access spaces.
wow best mine yet but how in the hell did you find your way back out no i would not sit in the chair good job be safe
Easily one your best explorations. Seems like one could spend a month or two trying to find all the paths/connections/stuff....Take care and be safe.
American Pickers would be cream’n themselves for that old signage 😂
😂
I may not sit in the chair, but only because i wouldn't wanna damage anything. The cavers indocrinated me
My grandpa worked in coal mines in KY is this what it was like? 😢
Do You Guys Ever Meet Any Beings ( human or otherwise ) When You Have Gone Into These Mines ?
Thanks, Dave
@BlueJaysManInT.O. If I do it will absolutely be included in a video lol
They probably are more likely to live in Cave Networks. I have read about them Bigfoot, Reptillian's, ETs etc.
its crazy that they wrote their names on the wall during WW2. !!
