Kind of trippy how it's an arrangement of a remix (Sea of Lament being a remix of Footfalls), I love it when Soken does that! Kinda like how the Dusk Vigil theme is a remix of the Western Coerthas theme which is an arrangement of the Heavensward theme, or how Castrum Abania is a remix of the Peaks theme which is a remix of the Measure of His Reach, or how the Ktisis Hyperboreia theme is a remix of the Elpis theme which is an arrangement of the Amaurot theme!
@@KienPhung I was thinking less of the fact that it's an arrange of its zone's theme (most dungeon themes are) and more of the fact that happiness and lament (translation of Lamentorum) are pretty much completely opposite.
"Your mother smells like cabbages!" "Why would you say that!?" the banter from the Loporrits that are stuck in there is so funny. Couple that with the happy music, and it's a Dun for the ages.
Y'know what's worse than that is the sound of duh duh duh daduh duhdere whenever you get loot and there isn't any way of turning that off. It's so loud too. Please Yoshi let us turn that off
Soken is a genius, man. It's hard to believe the same guy who composed and arranged Hic Svnt Leones also composed and arranged this. His versatility blows my mind. 😮
Dev 1: So the players are probably going to be all over the place emotionally after the MSQ, what music should we use for the dungeon after it? Dev 2: J A Z Z
@@ethicscommitteememberremin4666 When you do Pandaemonium I wanna say it's level 11 off the top of my head you're put in the literal past with a very particular person who basically calls up his power and starts up a jazz version of his theme. So yea, the Ancients were very much jazz people.
When XIV does jazz, it does jazz superbly. Some of my favorite pieces in the game are the jazzy ones. "Ink Long Dry" (Great Gubal Library Normal), "Floundering in the Depths" (Amamnesis Anyder - remix of Sastasha's "From the Depths") and "Shadows Withal" (Akademia Anyder) are also pretty sweet!
I heard that yesterday for the first time and as someone who goes ballroom dancing, it was hard to keep my rotation because the rhythm screamed at me to dance a Foxtrott xD
if it had more rock influence then i’d certainly agree, since mario kart 8’s soundtrack is mostly rock/jazz fusion (it’s also the genre most associated with racing in japan)
Part of me wishes we get a residential area on the moon since we've seen Smileton XD
joylot my favorite residential zone
The Ancients really do love their jazz, seeing as how the Loporitts are the embodiment of Hydaelyn's will.
Jazz is the official genre of pre-sundering now

Whenever I hear this, I smile. It's so happy.
One could even say you smile a ton
its the carrots.... theyre made from happiness
I love how "Carrots of Happiness" is an arrange of Mare Lamentorum (Sea of Lament)'s theme.
Pretty much goes for most dungeon themes
I thought it was a jazz arrangement for Finality, the final dungeon boss theme

Also, they are implying that Hydaelyn/Venat smells like Cabbage, because the mother of Lopporits is, you gused it, Hydaelyn/Venat, lol.
Both the theme and the dungeon is just groovy. I am quite sad the boss music interrupts it, it's quite the thematical whiplash.
I think there is a setting where you can turn off the boss fight bgm

The place was built by the Loporrits, who copy quite a few aspects of Amaurotine culture. And the Amaurotines sure loved jazz.
@@Michael-bb1cw I wanted to say the same thing, especially given the themes for both Akadaemia and Anamnesis Anyder!
not only is it Jazz, it's got jazzy footfalls in it

I was wondering where this was used ever since I heard it in the job trailer. This is a banger among bangers.
To me, this song sounds like it would belong in a Sonic or a NiGHTS game.
This dungeon is my favourite by far in Endwalker, really makes me smile ❤️
Reminds me of the casino in Sonic Adventure 1 that had the NIGHTS pinball for sure
Makes ya smile a ton?
This happy go lucky dungeon is just what I needed after the rollercoaster of emotions that was endwalker
This and the Twinning are such a vibe.

One of those times where it takes less than a minute in a new dungeon for me to go "Ok I *need* this orchestrion roll"
I heard that yesterday for the first time and as someone who goes ballroom dancing, it was hard to keep my rotation because the rhythm screamed at me to dance a Foxtrott xD
I absolutely love this melody. It’s so glamorous and dramatic. I love it so much ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks to a UA-cam video, I’ve had this song in my brain for a while, I’m so glad I found it
The intro is branded into my head as I watched the Sage teaser a few hundred times
I can go for a smile right about now after endwalkers story.
this is in contrast to Dead ends theme. Basically the same song
Dungeon theme that makes people smile a ton I guess.
This is good bar music.
*Now's your chance to use [[Physical Ranged DPS LB1]]!!!*
Still associate this with the sage trailer
i love this dungeon and its music so much. first thing i run when i get a new job to 90 and wanna test its new kit
Such fitting music for the Loporrits
I was hoping this was the standard enemy fight music.
This gives me some Trails in The Sky FC battle theme vibes.
Feels Noice.
Makes sense, the spin-off always has a jazz battle theme.

This is the same one Jesse's Auditorium watched.

Farming trying to get the Prince Lunatender or just because you get it all the time from 90 roulette?
