I was wondering what the chunky "light" bodies would look like on the spare "medium" legs? The Centaur-bot is wonderfully 1980's. The finished minis look really great.
Joy Toy actually makes their own action figures and mechs of their own design, which are reasonably good quality. I wonder if they were the O.E.M. for the AT-43 stuff from way back when, and took the old toolings out for another spin. Having said that, Rackham's closing may have meant that their vendors were not paid in full. In which case, play on. Noble Knight now sells Rackham's ex-stock. Some of these definitely are out of stock.
Yeah it's a shame it all fell apart. I don't remember the specifics but I believe there's was a huge Kickstarter disaster and a bunch of stuff never got made or shipped and the company ran out of money to fix it.
@@ScruffyCrow You can get Dust model kits from their website. Dust USA has primed stuff. If you want model kits you have to order from their European website. I can’t remember it off the top of my head.

Ah, Ali "I know this guy in China" Express. Buying bootlegs and kit bashing can be a fun hobby all by itself. Unfortunately, these mechs are out of stock. Maybe they'll come back maybe not but it's good to keep an eye open for similar stuff.
I hope so, I'm thinking about it as more of a modelling project for the time being but I know at least one other player who should be able to give me a game before long.

Not sure why you think it is OK to buy what you state as "knock offs from AliExpress". This is intelectual property theft, pure and simple and you are aiding this by buying these miniatures. Miniature companies find it difficult enough to turn a profit in the current market with people buying re-casts from dodgy sources. Not cool!!!
Rackham has failed many years ago and DUST is a discutible company with over priced miniatures and a Kickstarter who never delivered. Get over yourself
I get where you are coming from and my position on recasts is still the same. I'm ok with it if the original company no longer sells the model. But don't really put these in the same category as recasts, they would never really be mistaken for the real thing. They are knock offs in the same way as half the products in a cheap supermarket, they have that 10% difference that simply makes them an inspired by. I also think I do my share to support some of the smallest companies around.

The one at 8:00 is from AT-43's Red Blok faction. Space Soviets, so is the one from 9:00 but I don't know the exact model

I did experiment with that briefly, I should have included it in the vid. It just didn't look right unfortunately.

They are from Ali Express, they have more than doubled in price since I got them but they will probably come back down if you keep an eye out.
