- To celebrate 10k subscribers, I'm releasing 10 of my most popular triggers and uploading them in shorter format, one per day for 10 days 🥰🥰 So, this the fourth video in this new series of 30min-2hr triggers. This is my fourth video in this new series and although it's an extract from a previous upload, I've tweaked the audio and added some extra footage but I've also mixed up the tempo so you'll feel the sound slow from 100% to 75% to my favourite at that 50% sweets spot where brain penetration begins!
I'm choosing all of these videos based on previous comments, only selecting the triggers that have been commented on as 'chefs kisss' tingles! This is another of those triggers that get right deep into your brain, especially I think at the slower tempos.
So, these are 10 videos with 10 triggers to celebrate 10k subs but I'm hopeful that they will bring in some new viewers who prefer this shorter content. I'm also trying to work the UA-cam algorithm as it rates us on percentage watch time (not total watch time).
I am of course still creating long and extended 6-9hr videos. I'm working on another at the moment, and I'll be releasing it after this series goes live. The long one I'm working on has too many triggers to count and it's also a celebration of 10k subs. This is a really long video made up of over 100, 2min triggers, all extracted from my previous set of videos. Should be a really nice one 🥰❤️

I've tweaked the audio and added some extra footage but I've also changed the tempo all throughout this video with 100%, 75% and my definite favourite, "50% speeds". The slower one sounds really trance inducing and super soothing.
The triggers in this 10 video series are all chosen based on previous comments. I'm only selecting the triggers that have been commented on as 'chefs kisss'! This is just one of those triggers that get right deep into your spine via the brain, via the eardrums.
I'm hoping that these shorter videos can bring in some new viewers who prefer this length of content. I'm also hoping they appeal to the elusive UA-cam algorithm we're rated on percentage watch time (not total watch time). I will of course still be creating long and extended 6-9hr videos, but between those I'll try some shorter videos too. Wish me luck as I try to grow the channel in every way 🥰❤

@consciousthoughtz5318 I'll keep going, even when the going's tough and the channel isn't making a return. It's just what I've always done and I'm hoping that pushes this channel to a sustainable level. It would be so nice to see ASMRtroops succeed 🥰
As for whispering/soft spoken.... I'm just not sure about it yet. I've been practicing and listening back and well, you know how nobody likes their own voice but I really don't think I have the soft ASMR type voice and I sure don't have the accent for it. We Scots aren't known for our soft voices and nobody would understand my accent 😂
I will try it though at some point. I've been thinking about it and I have a list of videos that I want to make. Whispering/talking is one of them and I'm leaning towards some type of philosophical, thought provoking type things to say..... In sort, it's one of those things that are in the pipeline.
It takes a lot of time for channels to get popular, he only has 41 videos.
And personally, I like the English Scottish accent.
Well yeah, according to Mr. Beast, you need at least 100 videos to make a mark. That's one of my milestone targets tbh. 100 videos. At that point I'll take a step back and assess the channel and see if it's where it should be at that level
As for Scottish accents, there are many different ones. The Glasgow accent is quite different from, say, Edinburgh or the Highlands. I'm not sure if Americans can hear much difference at first though?

Yeah, I think we discussed this in another thread about trying shorter videos to see if they bring in new, fresh eyes...... I'm hoping that they do and I just thought it was a good way to celebrate 10k subs. I was getting ready to re-record my 10 most liked triggers in a long form video again, but this I think just makes sense ❤️🥰

Thank you, I have some unused footage that's similar to this, but instead of marbles I used little balls of tinsel. It's a similar sound, probably better in fact... I was going to include it as a scene in my last 7hr video but it's a really difficult edit so I left it out, but I might upload it separately like this one 🥰❤️

Yeah, it's pretty cool to make videos like this with the split screen. I like making them because when I'm editing these, I have to edit the one channel (left or right) so I'm listening to the sound on one channel for hours and hours before it's ready to layer, wondering if it's all that good...... Then, as soon as the new channel is added and there's a layer it sounds awesome! A new dimension to the sound that you can slide around and listen to the different effects is has to the beat of the audio......
Medusa though? She had two arms but lots of snake hair. You're thinking of "Vishnu" from Hindu mythology.

I like layer sounds too, I’ve experimented with making my audio “Echo” like copy and pasting the same audio sequence in 2 tracks but moving one track slightly forward so they don’t align….whoa super tingly.

Thank you, I had a look at your channel and you have a really soothing voice ❤️ If you're thinking about adding echo or reverb then you're best to use something like Adobe Audition as apply effects. Staggering two audio channels like you describe will create a sort of echo but for really nice effects you could try a good audio editing package. What mic do you use when you're soft speaking? It's nice and clear and there's no background noise.
