My First ASMR Collaboration: A Tingletastic Tapping Scalpgasm: @ASMRtroops UK -ft- @RithmicASMR USA

- This is my first collaboration video, and I'm absolutely thrilled that @RithmicASMR has agreed to tap along with me here. When I first discovered his channel, I had to reach out and ask him to make a video together. I just love the deep, in-your-ear, brain tapping sounds that he produces, and I hope that our ASMR layered together is nice to listen to. Please check out his channel and subscribe:

We racked our brains to come up with an idea for this video, and we decided on a UK + USA theme. It just made sense since he's from Louisville USA, and I'm from Glasgow UK. We decided to use these triggers:
[01:30] - A red leather cricket ball vs A white leather baseball
[45:26] - An English willow cricket ball vs A maple wood baseball bat
[01:43:04] - Two sentimental books, which I've explained below:
@RithmicASMR picked this book because his grandfather was a fighter pilot in WW2. These are the hardback memoirs of another American fighter pilot who was part of the "Eighth Fighter Group" in WW2. The author was stationed in the UK, so he figured it was a perfect collab book.
@ASMRtroops are all about the troops, so God bless your dear grandfather, sir. The book choice was a nice, sentimental touch, so I picked a book in keeping with the same spirit. My grandad was a firefighter during the WW2 blitz, so as a sentiment for the bond between UK/USA, I picked a book about the Firefighters of the Blitz.

It would actually have been amazing to 'collab live' with him so we could have been in sync. listening to each other and jamming at the same time. These were both recorded blind, separately and then layered together. I think if we were jamming then we could create something that's "extra special" 🥰❤️

No, I'm definitely not a cricket fan. If I was to list my three most boring sports then cricket would be #1, #2 and #3. I do like the sound of that cricket bat though, definitely ❤️
As for these 'gasms', they were word-mashing genius and if you notice I morphed from "scalpgasm" into "ASMRGASM" in my latest preview compilation video. UA-cam sent a notification that it's getting a wider audience than usual (40% wider audience). I guess non ASMR people are clicking into it to see what the hell an ASMRGASM is haha 🥰❤️

I’m not usually fond of tapping videos but the editing makes this one more interesting than I thought it would be. I’ve checked the other channel and dude’s got some great edits as well. He has a whispering video while playing geoguess which I’ve enjoyed very much. I recall you saying you wanted to do a whispering video but with interesting information, well I thought his was a great approach: describing a thought/something you see on the image; it is a neutral enough content to sooth you but engaging enough to keep you hooked.

Do you have a URL to any of the whispering videos that you're describing? I don't tend to watch whispering videos much because it's rare for me to find a voice that I can feel comfortable with but I would still like to try this. I seen one where a guy (can't remember the channel) was looking through a 300yr old book and he was just opening up about the thoughts it was evoking. I thought it was a good way of rambling on. I defo don't like scripted things so I did like this one ❤️🥰

Thank you, I'm glad you like this collab video ❤️ It was a lot of fun to create, but it was also quite tricky to edit as we have quite different setups. I just knew I wanted to work with @RithmicASMR though, I love his sounds. Putting two completely unrehearsed and completely remote ASMR recordings together, and layering them into one is a challenge, but there are a lot of unconventionally good triggers throughout the video. I'd like to try this again one day, but in a live version. I think if we were jamming together at the same time then it would sound sublime 🥰❤️

What I like about this community are all the amazing, positive comment. I pretty much never get negativity here and it's refreshing to me. It would be nice if some of the larger artists collabed with the smaller gguys sometimes, just to give us a little boost ❤️🥰

Hi! Do you have any water/drippy crinkles or taps or both? I'm wondering the feels those might generate.
The first video I ever made was a watery one, here: ua-cam.com/video/6nKfLa7VBEc/v-deo.html - I've not made one since but I've got one planned which I think will be pretty cool. I'm going to use the copper bath here and get the dripping tap sound in there along with a range of other watery sounds. It's on the list of videos I want to make.
I wish this was my full time gig but I have my main business which gets in the way. If I can grow the channel to a level where it's sustainable then I'll be able to devote more time to it, so that's my goal. Grow the channel so I can spend more time with it ❤️🥰

Thank you, no I'm not big on cricket being from Scotland. It's not even a thing for the Scots, just the English part of the isle that plays cricket. It's just when I was thinking how to theme the collab it seemed like a great UK+USA object to use. I bought the bat, ball and book specifically for this video ❤️🥰
