I'm loving the living room Reno vlogs, don't go killing yourself to make festive vlogs because I'm sure I speak for alot of people when i say its so nice just to see normality, and normality is sanding the floor weeks before Christmas or painting the walls because you just want it done before Christmas. The door looks nice raw, but I think it is a bit too rustic for the space. Painting it wil make it more high end and fitting with the rest, I think. The room is looking really good!

100% sand the floors, it will be totally worth it. If it was me I would sand too. Once it is all done, you will be able to really enjoy the room for Christmas :)

My mom could freehand like no one I've ever seen, but I've never been able to. Shaky hands. The trick with painter's tape is to seal the edge with a thin layer of caulk and then paint over that. My brother-in-law showed me that trick, and I get a perfect line every time.
