Hi, just for the record; I just came in today from the U.S. and I was in & out of Immagration in < 5 min. They asked me for nothing. I didn't have to show any test, proff of Vax or previous infection records. They didn't even ask the usual "where" are you staying questions. Literally nothing. Was my easiest entry ever. Thank you Thailand !!! There was a gentleman from Austrailia right behind me in que for immagratioin and he had the same experience.

Here in Florida in the United States we have not been required to wear masks for more than one year! I've been to Phuket in 2019 and fell in love with the Island and its people. I cant wait to come back. We planning on visiting Phuket in 2023....at this stage from 29 September to round about the 10th of October 2023. Can you please assist in referring us to reliable person who can help with booking accommodation and taking us around the island for the duration of our stay. It would be highly appreciated. Hi, great content my lady. Quick question if I may? I am currently in Thailand on a tourist visa. I have to go back to UK in December, but return in the new year 2023, as a tourist for the 45 days. I only arranged a single ticket, not onward ticket, back to UK. I plan to apply for retirement visa when arriving back in January 2023. Is this a problem not having a onward ticket? I heard that over 50 years people no longer require an onward ticket, is this true? Thank you in advance.

And for the second, third... years 25.000 tb...
Meanwhile in italy for multy entry i need to buy an insurance issued by thai company that has a cost...
Just when i will be there i will ask better...

Just booked a flight to Bangkok for a month in February. I'll spend a few days in BKK before heading down to Krabi. Keeping my fingers crossed that Thailand doesn't suddenly change the entry rules.....As far as I can tell, it's back to visa-upon-arrival for US citizens.

Thailand is a tropical country which it means we are located in hot and humid area. Winter is not cold as you think

As a frequently traveller to Thailand in the last years - except covid - I mostly booked airbnb condos in Bangkok
and stood in Thailand for 30 days with a visa on arrival. The host did the immigration registration for me.
The next time in January 2023 I plan to travel to Bangkok for 45 days and will stay at my friends house.
Do I need to make an immigration registration by myself and if so, can you please give me a short advice how and where to do.

I'm not expert about visas. In my opinion, I don't think you can change to tourists visa but only extend it

When you leave Thailand your visa is done but it will start to count from day 1 when you return

Charles, while you may no longer be required to have the $100,000 covid policy I'd recommend a short term health insurance policy for the duration of your stay. They are not expensive, you can get it online, probably from same website you bought your tickets, because chances are that the health insurance coverage you enjoy at home won't cover you in Thailand. Enjoy your trip, we won't be too far behind you.

You didn’t mention anything about multiple entry, I’m trying to visit Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines and getting multiple entries to Thailand from Canada is pain in the.. you know where. Hopefully Thai government would make it a little easier.
