Pretty sure EVERYONE loses viewers in the first 15-20 seconds, even Mrbeast does, I think he showed a graph a while ago. Nobody holds 100% retention in the first 30 seconds.
Yes I agreed with your comment 😢
Its possible by people rewatching that incrdible start wich brings some viewers up to 200% making up for the people who gotta go and cant stay for the video
For example (context its so crazy to be tall in this game and nobody beliefs you)
Yous say i am 6'7 standing in fron of a door just barely showing it... u will get people rewatching to actually confirm if i am that tall
we all know that bruh
he strives for 70% retention
Nah i once made a video almost nobody clicked off the intro
Really good edit bud, especially the first few seconds!
What are you doing here?
Now this is what we love to see. So many videos tell the same things but breaking down how real creators put the advice into practice is the next level stuff beginning creators need. Thank you for this!
You have a fantastic way of identifying a problem that a wide array of youtubers face, and then using perfect examples from successful youtubers to explain the answer to the problem. Highly underrated channel, you will go far if you keep putting videos out! You dropped this > 👑
Wow, thank you!
did not expect this to have deadly good video editing, especially with your insanely accurate insights into narrative-building. amazing work!
Going sky high man, you really know your stuff and your provided some good unique insights and used demonstrations. Can't wait to see you improve even more, you deserve the success.
Get this man a Twitter account, this ain't your first rodeo Leo, I can tell 🚀
I watched videos about this kind of topic by 'big' channels, but yours is actually one of the very best! This channel will explode in no time, which also shows your skills :D
With videos like these you should have a 1000 subs in no time. Well done in making a channel that full of so much promise already! Can’t wait to see what you have in store
u called it!
yep, he's at 1.22k now, which is pretty sweet
This channel is obviously going to do very well, great work on both of these videos
6 months later, it did! Awesome!!!
I was genuinely suprised when i saw the amount of subs you have. Keep up the good work, im sure your channel will get algorithmed soon
Your video got suggested among videos from much bigger channels, yet I clicked on yours not theirs. You definitely know how to implement the things you mention in the video and I foresee a really fast channel growth ahead. Good job!
6 months later, it did! Awesome!!!
Super helpful - i loved your tip about crafting your title, thumbnail and intro all at the same time. Genius.
Amazing video but all you need now is a channel icon and you're seriously going to grow a lot faster. I first saw the icon before clicking on the video which gave me a bad first impression however the video itself demolished that
Yeah I think he’s going for a unique “big channel with standard profile pic” look - however, that causes more harm than good, especially at the early stages.
If you are going for this, do it later on when you’re more established - get a couple hundred K subs under your belt and thennn this “standard pfp” will have that affect.
Well said.
i was being really lazy and just focussing on what matters: making good videos. But I just made a pfp, it's not too creative but it'll do at least for now. Thanks for the feedback tho I didn't realize that the pfp made such an impression
The thumbnail is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Got my attention and I just couldn't control. Took a screenshot for future inspiration👏👏
@@LearnByLeo it just makes it look more professional and not like a bot account that reposts other's content. thanks for taking on the advice, good luck my friend :)
Really well done video, man. I can see this channel being very successful. Keep it up!
Dude this is insane content - can't believe how new your account is. Great job and very informative!
Nice to see a creator put their money where their mouth is. Great tips backed up by awesome editing!
@DiegoIgnacioQuinonesCapo Yes! 😂😂 thanks for catching my typo. 👍🏽
You just killed it bro, you really have a bright path ahead 🫶
I clicked this video thinking it was just going to reiterate what I already knew. I was surprised to find out that you taught me a lot of things I didn't know. Way to go. Thanks!
Fair play bro yout hitting the ground running with your first videos gladim here for the start 💪
Solid editing and hook, well done fellow creator!
This is awsome man! Keep it up and I'm sure your channel will blow up!
Genius insights, Leo!! And you're doing an awesome job implementing the same tips & tactics. (Btw, it didn't show me the next video you recommended in the end screen, maybe just a bug on my end.)
Very impressed with this mate - look forward to see what you have coming next ✌️
bro boosted our confidence for making video. you earned yourself a brand new, 2023, fresh subscriber.
Your videos are great, very informative. I see them being very helpful in making my garbage video presentation slightly less garbage. So thank you ❤
this video is so accurate! keep up the good work! helps all those, who are on the same journey :)
Well explained! Thank you for not talking so fast like many other education channels do- I can learn easier this way👍 For these 2 reasons, I have subscribed💯 Can't wait to see your sub count grow😃🎉
UNDERRATED HOW HAS THIS NOT BLOWN UP? IM SUBBING BRO
Amazing video! Congratulations! This is the second time I'm watching this video after watching your other video "why people don't click". I'll use what you taught on this and your other video in my upcoming video. Subscribed for life. Keep up the great work! 👏👏
The editing is sooo goood and the video was so good!!
Enjoyed this! Hoping to watch the audience retention one (I think you referenced) next. 👍 keep up the good work
Super good editing & video, keep up the good work!
You killed this, super useful!
Great video my man! Very insightful stuff that I'll be applying to my intros :D
This is so smart. I now understand why people say make the thumbnail and title first, your the only one who explained in a helpful way to me, thank you. 🔥
Congrats man, very good first video. made me curious to where you get you sound design, effects. I could use some of those. you made good use of them. keep on going.
envato elements it's like 100 dollars for a year and a ton of stock footage and sound effects
Great video mate, love the editing
One of the best videos I have watched that gives you different information compared to the rest!
This was an incredible video! I’m going to share this with my fellow colleagues
This is massively underrated, thank you!
cool editing with powerful content, your channel will be successful very shortly! no doubt bro keep it up!
Bro - You absolutely crushed it
Amazing work, bright future ahead.. Keep grinding!!
Bro your channel is very great ❤
to learn you just need to watch these videos, this guy as many others is a master at this
gotta say you made something really good here
That thumbnail and title combo, great work Leo! I'll be in touch, I have some ideas I want your help with.
Here before it was popular. Very good video, congratulations!
Wow you're awesome I love the voice over and the edit you're a pro.
I have dropped a subscribe
Absolutly brilliant. Commenting so the algo will recommend more of your videos to me
Shit man! Amazing editing, and fresh perspective. Love your style and you'll be going places.
I am struggling with the intro in the video in working on because it's 25 Min slower pace documentary with watercolors animations. So now I'm wondering if I should change the thumbnail to reflect that
Keep up the good work!
If you’re making documentaries then study LEMMiNO’s intros and thumbnails, they work rlly well. Also check out my title and thumbnail video for tips on that
Very nice stuff subbed you’re almost at 1k subs w Grats
Amazing video bro, just changed my whole concept about how a video should be made.
Amazing video. Great explanations.
Brilliant edit
Glad you liked it!
dude, i watched a few of these videos and its like i opened my eyes, WOW!
Yup, I gave your intro 30 seconds and then left. Your point is proven and valid. Well done.
Awesome work my friend, stuck around till the end, very entertaining and educational video
Thank you for your effort! Great explaining!
Dang Leo, the character profile screen put the slider on your lips all the way to 100 no cap. No hate, just pointing out facts. Put some lipstick on those and you'd make the Kardashians jelly. The video was 🔥🔥🔥 can't wait to see the next one.
Wow. This video was actually very good! Deserves more views for sure. No BS just good advice
This is amazing. Great video and you’re going to blow up quickly!
What do you use to make moving graphics on screen? I’ve learned everything from UA-cam and idk how to make on screen and moving graphics like you!
Same I learned all from UA-cam. Just master the tools in your editing program so that you can recreate effects that other people have done. Also, download free plugins, they can give you a lot more stuff to do. I use the video copilot "saber" plugin for animating lines, and I've downloaded a few transition packs too.
love these edits maybe you can show how you edit your vids?
Great video, keep up the great work!
OK, I have found your channel and I am hooked. Thank you!
It's also interesting to try and observe how you apply these strategies, and what impact they had on the viewer.
This is Amazing, thank you.
Your editing is flawless! What program do you use?
Premier pro and after effects
Godlike video, valuable tips. Keep up the good work
This guy is so underrated wtf. Like genuinely how have you not blown up.
Give him some time! 😂 He’s only got 2 vids so far; he’ll blow up soon enough!
@@secondchairmusic yeah fair enough, I just think that people who put this much effort into UA-cam deserve better.
I'm just now realising that he is now at 1.58K. Congrats man!
This man’s going places 😭😭 (797th sub)
The thumbnail is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Got my attention and I just couldn't control. Took a screenshot for future inspiration👏👏
Thank you glad to hear it!
great!!! Keep analysing like that🤩
Omg you will grow up fast. I were here ❤
Amazing video. I never even had the thought of skipping ahead or watching something else when watching!
Great to hear bro thank you
First time one of these videos actually taught me something. Thanks!!!!!!
Yayy!!I am your 1000th subscriber 🤓
Hey Leo new sub here. Superb work you have done here. Next video idea, how do you make your voice overs sound soo good and professional
Sou do Brasil e seu vídeo foi recomendado. Continue com o trabalho está sensacional.
did not expect so much good advice from someone with 73 subs wtf. man did his research
hey I was wondering how long does it take to learn to edit like you? I saw you use Adobe After Effects, I’m learning After Effects at the moment and I find it as a very complex program to learn.
i was skeptical, but then kept watching and my god dude, you're paddy galloway jr.
Bro why you have so less subscribers and views. You are too much underrated
Amazingly explained video!
This was great, ty! Awesome content! Tips, you forgot to link your video in the last few seconds, and there's such a sharp difference in the audio quality between the awesome voice over and your in person shots (a roll) that it's a little shocking and a bit off putting; change that and you're going places!
I know lol I just use my iPhone to record for now. I’ll need a better setup soon. Also I haven’t made the next video so I can’t link it yet lol
>Also I haven't made the next video
lol that's thinking ahead, I wondered about that too. Anyway, thanks for sharing your knowledge with those of us starting out.
GREAT video! Definitely shows the importance of analyzing successful youtubers even just for the first 20 seconds
5:22 - My question is where do YOU get this stuff from? Is there a non complicated way so you dont spend more time on assembling these things than on the actual videoediting and script and video creation?
I use envato elements for more of my sound effects and visuals. Some things I make myself too. Unfortunately it does get more complicated and tedious the better the video is, but it certainly helps to buy services like envato elements.
Brilliant video, Leo. i can tell this isn’t your first time working on a UA-cam channel. I would love to chat if ever you’re up for it!
Great job Leo!!.....the sub count will climb quickly :)
Underrated asf. Ima note that!
Damn okay I need to step up my game all around! I like to keep it genuine and don’t even edit since I don’t need time to express my mindset topics
Truth be told bro can't lie
You're literally my favorite
Hey Leo - would you mind making one of these but for tiktok hooks where thumbnail/description don't matter as much? Thank you so much!
Amazing video! Looking forward to more😁
Really good explanation
Good stuff Sir! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Hey liked the video, could you make a folder with all your sound effects?
Nah I can’t I get them from envato elements I’m not allowed to share anything
You forgot to add the end card for the video you wanted us to click at the end of video.
great video Leo thank you!
This is so helpful!
Intros have a lot ot do
edit: I literally asked my self this question out loud and now I see this video, how does this not have more views.
