That wrist padding really helps for blocking kicks when you're off just a little bit and you catch the shin on your wrists on acciden instead of in the palm of your hand
Hi Carlo, love your gear reviews...best on UA-cam! What would be really helpful is knowing your hand measurements? Just that you mention some gloves are a perfect fit for you and would be good to know this a reference point.
LOl I like how I watch all these reviews even though I'm never going to buy any of them... Also, I like how you included some heavy bag work at the beginning of the video. Maybe in the future you can also add some sparring recordings. Keep up the good work!

I know! The glove market is super saturated now, a lot of manufacturers that are contracted by 3rd parties are starting to go independent. So you’re seeing a lot more higher quality gear at better prices which undercuts companies like winning/ grant/ Reyes. It’s much more competitive now than say 10 years ago when your options were much more limited. Add companies like hayabusa and venum who’ve also cornered the market with the surge of MMA.

@@vladshults5395 I think anyone who isn't sponsored/paid to wear Grant gloves by Elvis Grant would agree that it's severely overpriced.

_woolybully Covid really messed up the whole process. The place where they are manufactured had to shut down for a while and it lead to me having to cancel my order.

I find it funny that in the end people are paying 1000+ for a brand, when you can get the same exact product with the same standards and durability for the quarter of the price. I think I know where my next glove purchase is going.
Agreed, it’s all about name recognition and marketing right? I mean the same could be said of many designer brands when it comes to shoes and clothing. Hell, jordans sell for $$$$ but are made for pennies on the dollar by some kid in Indonesia, probably the same kid that makes shoes for wal mart and target. These gloves are the exact same as grant at a fraction of the price.

How would you compare these to 16oz Fly X Superloops? Are they snugger, "taller" on the profile? Tried my friends 16oz X superloop and felt that the handcompartment was large and the gloves went very long down my arms. Felt like a t-rex with some gloves haha.

Very similar wrist support I’d say equal. Knuckle and hand protection I’d say the HMIT is a hair better but the Russian boxer gives better feedback

May I ask is this 14 oz gloves inside model bigger than the 12 oz Grant? or maybe it uses the same hand model but just weight different?

They’re both good, obviously fight gloves. Just depends what you’re using them for.
Grants is known for its orthopedic hand protection features, do you know if these gloves offer the same protection? Also your pair of laces ups say Hecho en mexico on them but none of the lace ups on there site say it. Do you know if all there gloves are made in mexico?

Better than new sporting by a hair before they went downhill. These are exactly like Grants, made by the same manufacturer. Only difference is the logo.

Hey man im a beginner boxer and im not sure what gloves to get. I want a glove for bagwork that will last and occasional sparing im 65kg so im gonna get 16oz. I looked online but im not sure what to get i have in mind ringside, ringtocage, sabas and mexican brands. My budget is about €120 and under if you could suggest me some gloves that would be great👍

Depending where you are valour strike are around £40 to £50. I like farabi which are £20 for imf full leather
