Rorke, in the last mission of the campaign it turns out that he survives and captures Sergeant Logan Walker and then subjects him to the same fate that Rorke had experienced making him the antagonist we know. But fortunately in Call of Duty: Mobile he dies, killed by Cecilia Perrin. Although his death is not canon in Call of Duty: Ghosts, it is still satisfying.
Honestly I think they’re just gonna milk the “Modern Warfare” name til it’s dry. I just don’t think they’ll be able to write a good enough story that ties everything together. Makarov basically did everything the OG Makarov did except for kidnapping the president. There are TOOOOO MANY characters in the game taking time & shine from the story itself. Most players have to think for a few seconds to know what the last two were even about.
When I played og mw3 that was my favorite part of him, he was so calmed even when the world was in chaos, here is just the average villain of a bad movie
The reveal trailer was one of the best! I mean it felt like a thriller shooter with high stakes and the opening mission was so fun not knowing you’re playing the villains as Konni! Honestly they should’ve done these differently Show us as Samara when she gets knocked out, let us play as one of the Hijackers as they carry out the framing and how brutal Makarov is and instead of using guns, use knives as Makarov gloats on how this is for the greater good of Russia showing how demented he is but also show him commiting acts of violence against his own people for his own gain Also the actor Julian Kostov is really great in his other roles and he really needed more time and also they should’ve let him win but also show some hatred between him and Col Yuri for a future confrontation and how much they hate each other and that Yuri is even willing to go after Makarov himself by going with Laswell and joining 141 to hunt him down personally to end this Don’t let us play as Cap price, we need to play as Soap, as Gaz and even as Alex as they fight Konni cause we already know how badass Price is, show us the people who helped make Modern warfare happen and who we played as, show us them in different places and situations, Alex in Urizistan fighting Konni while he tries to stop them from taking over it again, have Gaz do more stealth missions while he tries to find out how to get Konni to back down but also show why he’s one of the first people to be recruited by Price and with Soap show us why he was chosen, show us the budding brotherhood between soap and ghost cause of how much his death will affect Ghost later, and give him a reason to go rogue and hunt him down even if he has to be classified as a war criminal or have soap go into a coma or have a scar as he’s undergoing physical therapy for the bullet grazing his skull and vows to become stronger and maybe even becomes captain as price would step down or become a wanted criminal if he was found out to have killed Gen Shepard (although I think a good thing is to have Shepard show that he cares for 141 and wants to repair their relationship, since he does like the team and compared to original Shepard they just wants us to hate him but he was actually quite cool and the actor is my favorite) Don’t let us play as Farah (her story can be shown from Alex like we’ve seen before and it helped us like her) Add in delta, Devgru and SOAR aka Nightstalkers since Konni is a PMC have Shepard enlist the United States own tier 1&2 operators against Konni cause he’ll need it
Ironic how raven and treyarch made a better job with CW's campaign despite being rushed while MW's seemed to focus more on the graphics by what i noticed (that is also bothering,and explains the lot of cutscenes on the game that take away story inmersion)
MW3 2023 was a severe let down smh. In the OG series TF141 was actually a multinational task force with operators from several NATO Nations, and Makarov actually started WW3. It boggles my mind how tech has advanced so much, but the creativity and innovation of the writers has taken 10 steps back.
What you should do is play the OG MW series then play the new mw. You’ll see that while the characters in the OG series had no backstory other than Price, Soap, & Makarov, it was the world around them that spoke volumes. The story made us appreciate those main characters & even the side characters too.
Now MWIII needs a real rewrite. I imagine it as a 2 POV game. On the one side we see operations being conducted by a more expanded version of TF141 and of course with assistance from DEVGRU and Shadow co or Nikolai's FSB contacts cooperating in the hunt for Makarov. While on the other side we have Andrei Nolan being the newest member of Konni group, giving the player's choice of partaking in the cruel terroristic acts or resist Makarov's commands. Although the "good guys" try to stop Makarov shit hits the fan and the Russian government declares war on Urzikstan again and starts a more destructive invasion than the one in 2019.
I could’ve changed many things of this games story: make it seem that Shadow Company is hired to break prisoner 726 out of a new country’s prison. Grozovia. A former Soviet puppet state in Asia. Formerly populated by Mongols. Russians and now Chinese populating this country. And that the prisoner they’re breaking is Julian Kostov. Not Makarov because the real Makarov was hunged by Juan Raba and Captain William Price OG MW version and uncle of captain Barry price. Current price. Kostov is a Bulgarian Grozovian. A Eurasian terrorist and this character has history with the task force cast. And that shadow company soldiers are undercover Konni soldiers who have Eurasian ideals. That they follow an ideology that wants the Soviet Union great again. A superpower. Not as Europe’s outsourcing factory. And oil energy source. Also it’s seems that some of the Konni want China to add Soviet Union to their military alliance giving the west fear to their own pride. Maybe the Konni PMC has some alliance with Chinas APEX corporation who have their own PMC and security corps. To escalate the us China Cold War. Someone who wants that war to escalate into a world war 4. Someone who watches the world to burn. The konni faction led by Misha. A former Inner Circle member and close friend of Vladimir Makarov. He was given instructions to handle expanding the South American federation and expanding the Soviet Unions influence. Before his death.
Misha leads his Konni faction to align with Al Qatala and Khaled Al Assad to cause false flag attacks posing as certain rebel groups. ULF. Green Sea freedom party. Even shadow company soldiers who has some of the rogue factions to cause false flag attacks. Rudy had connections with Perseus. A cabal that has links to criminal and terror groups. And before he died by Ghost, Soap. Amber and Valeria. He had also General Norris to go off the grid. Escalate the events and draw out the task forces. Draw out the superpowers into militarization. Us and China are at defcom 4 and they would realize how shallow this rivalry would turn out to be. But this story has black ops 2 connections. Chinese general tian Zhao cameos in this story. Even Section and Harper comes into the picture. 141 must deal with Kostov and imprison him or kill him. This mission gives divided opinions. Especially with between Price and Ramirez.
There only 3 things i don't like about MW3 campaign is them open combat missions,soap dying,and price not letting soap kill makarov when they had the chance
Something that annoyed me about mw3 campaign is that the camo choices were laughable, looking like terrain elevation mapping white for snow, baby shit for anywhere else, what a joke
I think it would be great if graves appeared in the next game and had his own playable mission where he tracks down Nolan after finding out he was responsible for the attack on his shadows, and he ends up either killing Nolan or they both end up killing each other
Another big difference with the rebooted trilogy compared to the OG is that in the OG there were SO MANY huge catastrophic events (Eiffel tower collapse, attack on the White House, battle of New York etc) and it made it really feel like these villains are the real deal and will stop at nothing while in the rebooted story there really isn’t anything even close the that. The hijacking felt so underwhelming and it was just a horrible rushed story. Also the stupid open world/warzone type missions were HORRIBLE. If there was like 1-2 I’d be fine but since it was such a short campaign, those missions felt like 60% of the campaign! It was awful. It really went downhill after 2019 and I hate that it did

Well mw3 is awkward because they had valerias VA come in for mw3 but yet nothing happened she wasn't in the campaign or anything and we've yet to see her work with makarov
Mw3 makes me sad because it had so much potential. I moved over tlou2 even, I accepted what it was and appreciated the thought process of the creators even though there were some major flaws, I still accepted what it was. But, Mw3 left a dent so big, it is irrepairable that no mw4 can fix this.
Branwolf how would you feel if we can choose which team we can play for in the next mw4 141, shadow company, konni, or UFL we can go on lots of great missions with whoever we choose and while we go on missions we meet fan favorite characters Griggs, delta team, roach and other of konni operators warden, dokkaebi, banshee, and hush. And the hacker from the last mission on mw3 could that be dokkaebi. Konni failed in every mission but it’s not their fault the plans were good but once shepherd stepped in things started going downhill for konni. But Perseus their missions were great and they were all successful.

You can really feel the difference in writers from 1 to 2 and 3. If anything’s downgrade at best, there’s no care for certain characters and The ones that were made for the reboot are forgotten. If they do a mw4 I think it be cool if we had 141 on the run due to prices actions and have the US go after them if not nato, and for the other half of the story maybe bring in roach but as merc for shadow company this way we can see the after of mw2 maybe the shadows are now being babysit by the marines on missions.( probably not the best idea, but definitely better then mw3)

once i heard they got rid of all the talent that made mw2019 i didnt even look at any other cod after that just like what happen with mw2 back in the day. cod, cod2, cod4, mw2, and mw2019 are the only good cods worth owning made by the dream team.
These newer games look neat and well developed but their stories are terrible because the focus is too much on graphics and cosmetics. My favourite Call of Duty is Modern Warfare Remastered, and I know it is COD4 recycled but let me be clear: The graphics are very good and still hold up mostly well today and the story is still amazing and the action is good. Might not be as realistic but it honestly makes me feel more like I am in the SAS in both campaign AND multiplayer than whatever goes on in new call of duty games. The only reason I haven't played the OG MW games is because none of them are ported to PS5, but from gameplay and the story I've heard from them, absolute respect.

I don’t get the critique for Soap’s death. Because in the original, a lot of our allies are just killed and forgotten about. Did we really get to know the original Gaz or SSgt Griggs in the original? Or Ghost (yes I know he had a comic run, but that’s an external source of media)? Outside of the original Soap’s death, the game never shows us the affect their death had on the survivors. I actually like Soap’s death in the reboot. There’s not much flair to it. He gets shot in the head and drops dead. It’s telling that our friend who we’ve fought with and as can drop just as quickly as the enemies we kill. And then after, the game is set on actually MOURNING the loss. At the moment they didn’t have that time. They were still in the middle of disarming a bomb. But after once it’s diffused and the mission is over, we get to see the affect it actually has on the team. They actually show how it feels to live on as your brother-in-arms dies. And that’s something that hadn’t been done since I think BO2 and WW2. Every other time, we just see a character we care about die and it’s either the end of the game, so it rolls to credits, or the mission carries forward with the only difference being now you’re one NPC down.
I don't like how the story kinda rushes... It feels like they can't wait to show us who is the main villain for the MW franchise. Of course, we all know who it is, Vladimir Makarov. For me, the MW2019 story did really great reintroduce OG characters and new characters. It feels like MW2019 happened before the COD4 happened. Even Khalid Al-Asad, we don't even know what happened to him. Also, they make SC betrayed TF141 right the way in MWII. They can make SC betrayal arc in MWIII, and in MWII they work together without any conflict between each other.
I agree with most of the things you say in this video but I hate the “if you don’t see the body then the character isn’t dead”. This is such a dumb plot device and just shows that the writers have no idea what they’re doing and can’t have the foresight to know if they want to tell more stories with a character. It ruins all off screen deaths and makes them feel so much less impactful. Sorry for the rant and in all fairness I do think this plot device can be incorporated into stories but, I think writers should respect the consumer’s intelligence and have some sort of hint of a possibility that a character faked their death’s kinda like how you can put together the fact that victor resnov is dead in bo1 before the game reveals that information by paying attention to the dialogue and noticing that nobody addresses Victor resnov.
I fully agree with you on this, this cod was the first game i ever bought that i felt scammed after playing. MW4 is really the last hope for this franchise, if that isn't good i'm done with this franchise
MW3 is an example of a rushed product. Activision is mostly responsible for this. If you would ask me what campaign is worse this or BO3 i would say BO3 because BO3 had three years and they made it confusing where as MWIII was rushed and seemed unfinished
But they still released it, that what makes mw3 the worst, while bo3 was some Nolan level writing which was beyond comprehensive for normal working brain, so I do think that 3 years was justified for that game, it just didn't capture the generic gamers taste.

The reboot series would've been better if the made completely new characters instead of bringing back old characters for nostalgia. But even the new characters they made were forgettable and uninteresting.
So Soap appears on mw2, brings so much charisma, they left the character open for development and growing and then he gets the bullet? I mean sorry but Gaz was there since 2019 and it took Soap 1 game to have move character and charisma than him.
The story wouldve been good if they focused a bit more on Konni group like Ivan his character was wasted potential like in the mission of the stadium we couldve playrd as him basically recreating no russian 2.0 and then after thag mission he see him changing his thoughts on Makarov which would lead to him contacting Shepherd and Shepherd obviously wouldnt tell Laswell nor price about it and Shepherd wouldve set a plan for Ivan to kill Makarov and that would backfire but Makarov would notice it but wouldnt kill him that instanly and we continue to play as Ivan and see more of Makarov and why he made Konni and not focus more on Urzikstan like its so repetitive to the story and js him wanting the world to go to war against America then we would play as Ivan once more when Konni group were setting up those missles on the mission with Price and Farah and at the end we would see Makarov js shooting Ivan for betraying Makarov but then after playing the mission with price and farah we would see Price finding Ivan and saving him and Ivan revales all the things is said about killing Makarov Ivan would basically be the new Yuri and Price would not trust Shepherd even more but Laswell would convince to work with him to hunt makarov and we see most of Makarov plans work instead of the gang js stopping it like the passenger mission instead of the middle of the desert it would be in a city like a russian city like Moscow it would be hijacked by "ULF" which Russia would want to go to war with but America would defend them or America hijacking it or smth like that what make sense and thr rest goes on and instead of Soap dying it would be Gaz like Price would be injured and he would see Makarov as soon as they finally deactivated the bomb and soap and ghost would fight off the other Konni soilders and Price would get to Makarov restuling into a fist fight Price almost beaten to death Gaz would try to save him but ends up getting shot by Makarov and Makarov would js leave Price there to make him see the world going into war and why Gaz should die instead of soap is cause since Price and Gaz are close it would give Price a more better motivation on killing Shepherd and to kill Makarov and show his Wrath in the next mw game which would js be Price being more ruthless and not thinking straight And Ivan joining TF141 since he is going to be very helpful to stop Makarov and the Makarov plan to denote the train tunnel was more of a distraction and it just shows London being covered in gas and just shows radios stuff about Russian declaring war against America and other countries like London also going against America as the whole explosion would be framed from ULF and America funding the ULF and then the game js leaves off to a cliff hanger (mb if most of it doesnt make sense 😭)
All you said was true, the mw3 missions and the whole story in general were so dookie, i honestly wanted to see more of graves and see how his shadows getting tortured affected him. There was a bunch of missions I would’ve loved to see for ex. if we played as price and assassinated Shepherd or if some characters were mentioned more such as Alex or Yuri which only got 4 minutes of screen time and was never heard from again and he’s an original character and that’s all he got. Makarov also bugged me the whole game because he isn’t the same ruthless villain as he was in the original modern warfare series, they made him act like a baby the whole game. This game had a bunch of potential and they just threw it in the trash.
I never expected to hear you go on a rant, but it's deserved, MW3 lured us all in because there were those who enjoyed the story and wanted to see where it would go next, then there was those who enjoyed the multiplayer or spent time into the multiplayer and MW3 allowed us to carry over out stuff from MW2 onto MW3, which was something new and cool for the franchise and we expected that it was going to be a brand new game and I'll admit, like you, I was blinded, I saw the price tag and I just didn't care, the trailers looked great, the story looked great and the multiplayer looked great, hell, Zombies, a mode that I very rarely play, looked like fun. Now, sure, there's missions that I like in the campaign, even two of the open missions, but the story was just worse than disappointing and ended at the worst moment and what's funny is that people have done videos on fully rewiting the game or just simply rearranging the levels and infinitely make it a better campaign, not a great one but better than the one we got. I also forgot that we'll likely get the next MW game in a couple of years as Black Ops is rumoured to get the same treatment as the Modern Warfare series and have another game after Black Ops 6, likely Black ops 7 and that's if Sledgehammer isn't given a chance to have their own game again after Black Ops' two games.

No you’re correct. That game was straight GARBAGE holy heck, I understand we can’t compare it to the original trilogy back in the day. That one was on another level especially with the score and characters from that time. But this one you could tell they did not give a single fuck and just threw it together, matter of fact as you stated the first mission you could tell a lot of time was spent with the build up and overall feel on what it was “ suppose “ to be. Then it went straight to the dumpster.
MWII the reason for me is far better MWIII coz the gun play is so good not just they want add realistic elements in game , gun game feel real like u have to learn to use a real gun not used a airsoft gun. MWIII gun like no recoil and the gun model even more worst MWII, gun model of MWII is very close to there real life than what we have in MWIII. The reason both game to me feel bad is they destroy all the gun in the game just like in MW2019.
They made it more realistic in the wrong places, thats my opinion on the reboot series after mw1 2019, its pretty much just a wannabe sicario in my opinion.

Now MWIII needs a real rewrite. I imagine it as a 2 POV game. On the one side we see operations being conducted by a more expanded version of TF141 and of course with assistance from DEVGRU and Shadow co or Nikolai's FSB contacts cooperating in the hunt for Makarov. While on the other side we have Andrei Nolan being the newest member of Konni group, giving the player's choice of partaking in the cruel terroristic acts or resist Makarov's commands. Although the "good guys" try to stop Makarov shit hits the fan and the Russian government declares war on Urzikstan again and starts a more destructive invasion than the one in 2019.
Now that's a game I'd pay 70 bucks for
MW3's story jumped off a cliff after the first mission. Operation 627 was great. If only all missions were like Operation 627.

I could’ve changed many things of this games story: make it seem that Shadow Company is hired to break prisoner 726 out of a new country’s prison. Grozovia. A former Soviet puppet state in Asia. Formerly populated by Mongols. Russians and now Chinese populating this country. And that the prisoner they’re breaking is Julian Kostov. Not Makarov because the real Makarov was hunged by Juan Raba and Captain William Price OG MW version and uncle of captain Barry price. Current price. Kostov is a Bulgarian Grozovian. A Eurasian terrorist and this character has history with the task force cast. And that shadow company soldiers are undercover Konni soldiers who have Eurasian ideals. That they follow an ideology that wants the Soviet Union great again. A superpower. Not as Europe’s outsourcing factory. And oil energy source. Also it’s seems that some of the Konni want China to add Soviet Union to their military alliance giving the west fear to their own pride. Maybe the Konni PMC has some alliance with Chinas APEX corporation who have their own PMC and security corps. To escalate the us China Cold War. Someone who wants that war to escalate into a world war 4. Someone who watches the world to burn. The konni faction led by Misha. A former Inner Circle member and close friend of Vladimir Makarov. He was given instructions to handle expanding the South American federation and expanding the Soviet Unions influence. Before his death.
Misha leads his Konni faction to align with Al Qatala and Khaled Al Assad to cause false flag attacks posing as certain rebel groups. ULF. Green Sea freedom party. Even shadow company soldiers who has some of the rogue factions to cause false flag attacks. Rudy had connections with Perseus. A cabal that has links to criminal and terror groups. And before he died by Ghost, Soap. Amber and Valeria. He had also General Norris to go off the grid. Escalate the events and draw out the task forces. Draw out the superpowers into militarization. Us and China are at defcom 4 and they would realize how shallow this rivalry would turn out to be. But this story has black ops 2 connections. Chinese general tian Zhao cameos in this story. Even Section and Harper comes into the picture. 141 must deal with Kostov and imprison him or kill him. This mission gives divided opinions. Especially with between Price and Ramirez.
There only 3 things i don't like about MW3 campaign is them open combat missions,soap dying,and price not letting soap kill makarov when they had the chance

I think it would be great if graves appeared in the next game and had his own playable mission where he tracks down Nolan after finding out he was responsible for the attack on his shadows, and he ends up either killing Nolan or they both end up killing each other

Another big difference with the rebooted trilogy compared to the OG is that in the OG there were SO MANY huge catastrophic events (Eiffel tower collapse, attack on the White House, battle of New York etc) and it made it really feel like these villains are the real deal and will stop at nothing while in the rebooted story there really isn’t anything even close the that. The hijacking felt so underwhelming and it was just a horrible rushed story. Also the stupid open world/warzone type missions were HORRIBLE. If there was like 1-2 I’d be fine but since it was such a short campaign, those missions felt like 60% of the campaign! It was awful. It really went downhill after 2019 and I hate that it did

Mw3 makes me sad because it had so much potential. I moved over tlou2 even, I accepted what it was and appreciated the thought process of the creators even though there were some major flaws, I still accepted what it was. But, Mw3 left a dent so big, it is irrepairable that no mw4 can fix this.

Branwolf how would you feel if we can choose which team we can play for in the next mw4 141, shadow company, konni, or UFL we can go on lots of great missions with whoever we choose and while we go on missions we meet fan favorite characters Griggs, delta team, roach and other of konni operators warden, dokkaebi, banshee, and hush. And the hacker from the last mission on mw3 could that be dokkaebi.
Konni failed in every mission but it’s not their fault the plans were good but once shepherd stepped in things started going downhill for konni. But Perseus their missions were great and they were all successful.
I think it would be cool and tbh I would probably play a bit as shadow company

You can really feel the difference in writers from 1 to 2 and 3. If anything’s downgrade at best, there’s no care for certain characters and The ones that were made for the reboot are forgotten. If they do a mw4 I think it be cool if we had 141 on the run due to prices actions and have the US go after them if not nato, and for the other half of the story maybe bring in roach but as merc for shadow company this way we can see the after of mw2 maybe the shadows are now being babysit by the marines on missions.( probably not the best idea, but definitely better then mw3)

once i heard they got rid of all the talent that made mw2019 i didnt even look at any other cod after that just like what happen with mw2 back in the day. cod, cod2, cod4, mw2, and mw2019 are the only good cods worth owning made by the dream team.
These newer games look neat and well developed but their stories are terrible because the focus is too much on graphics and cosmetics. My favourite Call of Duty is Modern Warfare Remastered, and I know it is COD4 recycled but let me be clear: The graphics are very good and still hold up mostly well today and the story is still amazing and the action is good. Might not be as realistic but it honestly makes me feel more like I am in the SAS in both campaign AND multiplayer than whatever goes on in new call of duty games. The only reason I haven't played the OG MW games is because none of them are ported to PS5, but from gameplay and the story I've heard from them, absolute respect.

I don’t get the critique for Soap’s death. Because in the original, a lot of our allies are just killed and forgotten about. Did we really get to know the original Gaz or SSgt Griggs in the original? Or Ghost (yes I know he had a comic run, but that’s an external source of media)? Outside of the original Soap’s death, the game never shows us the affect their death had on the survivors.
I actually like Soap’s death in the reboot. There’s not much flair to it. He gets shot in the head and drops dead. It’s telling that our friend who we’ve fought with and as can drop just as quickly as the enemies we kill. And then after, the game is set on actually MOURNING the loss. At the moment they didn’t have that time. They were still in the middle of disarming a bomb. But after once it’s diffused and the mission is over, we get to see the affect it actually has on the team. They actually show how it feels to live on as your brother-in-arms dies. And that’s something that hadn’t been done since I think BO2 and WW2.
Every other time, we just see a character we care about die and it’s either the end of the game, so it rolls to credits, or the mission carries forward with the only difference being now you’re one NPC down.
I don't like how the story kinda rushes... It feels like they can't wait to show us who is the main villain for the MW franchise. Of course, we all know who it is, Vladimir Makarov.
For me, the MW2019 story did really great reintroduce OG characters and new characters. It feels like MW2019 happened before the COD4 happened.
Even Khalid Al-Asad, we don't even know what happened to him. Also, they make SC betrayed TF141 right the way in MWII. They can make SC betrayal arc in MWIII, and in MWII they work together without any conflict between each other.
Went back and realized the campaign trailer, was almost entirely footage of mission 1 and very quick snippets of other cutscenes.
To be honest I think Mw22 was a far better sequel than Mw23 story wise and a little bit of the multiplayer apart from warzone 2

I agree with most of the things you say in this video but I hate the “if you don’t see the body then the character isn’t dead”. This is such a dumb plot device and just shows that the writers have no idea what they’re doing and can’t have the foresight to know if they want to tell more stories with a character. It ruins all off screen deaths and makes them feel so much less impactful. Sorry for the rant and in all fairness I do think this plot device can be incorporated into stories but, I think writers should respect the consumer’s intelligence and have some sort of hint of a possibility that a character faked their death’s kinda like how you can put together the fact that victor resnov is dead in bo1 before the game reveals that information by paying attention to the dialogue and noticing that nobody addresses Victor resnov.
Tbh MWII and MWIII should've have the same energy as MW 2019 but i guess they didn't

MW3 is an example of a rushed product. Activision is mostly responsible for this. If you would ask me what campaign is worse this or BO3 i would say BO3 because BO3 had three years and they made it confusing where as MWIII was rushed and seemed unfinished
But they still released it, that what makes mw3 the worst, while bo3 was some Nolan level writing which was beyond comprehensive for normal working brain, so I do think that 3 years was justified for that game, it just didn't capture the generic gamers taste.

The story wouldve been good if they focused a bit more on Konni group like Ivan his character was wasted potential like in the mission of the stadium we couldve playrd as him basically recreating no russian 2.0 and then after thag mission he see him changing his thoughts on Makarov which would lead to him contacting Shepherd and Shepherd obviously wouldnt tell Laswell nor price about it and Shepherd wouldve set a plan for Ivan to kill Makarov and that would backfire but Makarov would notice it but wouldnt kill him that instanly and we continue to play as Ivan and see more of Makarov and why he made Konni and not focus more on Urzikstan like its so repetitive to the story and js him wanting the world to go to war against America then we would play as Ivan once more when Konni group were setting up those missles on the mission with Price and Farah and at the end we would see Makarov js shooting Ivan for betraying Makarov but then after playing the mission with price and farah we would see Price finding Ivan and saving him and Ivan revales all the things is said about killing Makarov Ivan would basically be the new Yuri and Price would not trust Shepherd even more but Laswell would convince to work with him to hunt makarov and we see most of Makarov plans work instead of the gang js stopping it like the passenger mission instead of the middle of the desert it would be in a city like a russian city like Moscow it would be hijacked by "ULF" which Russia would want to go to war with but America would defend them or America hijacking it or smth like that what make sense and thr rest goes on and instead of Soap dying it would be Gaz like Price would be injured and he would see Makarov as soon as they finally deactivated the bomb and soap and ghost would fight off the other Konni soilders and Price would get to Makarov restuling into a fist fight Price almost beaten to death Gaz would try to save him but ends up getting shot by Makarov and Makarov would js leave Price there to make him see the world going into war and why Gaz should die instead of soap is cause since Price and Gaz are close it would give Price a more better motivation on killing Shepherd and to kill Makarov and show his Wrath in the next mw game which would js be Price being more ruthless and not thinking straight And Ivan joining TF141 since he is going to be very helpful to stop Makarov and the Makarov plan to denote the train tunnel was more of a distraction and it just shows London being covered in gas and just shows radios stuff about Russian declaring war against America and other countries like London also going against America as the whole explosion would be framed from ULF and America funding the ULF and then the game js leaves off to a cliff hanger (mb if most of it doesnt make sense 😭)

All you said was true, the mw3 missions and the whole story in general were so dookie, i honestly wanted to see more of graves and see how his shadows getting tortured affected him. There was a bunch of missions I would’ve loved to see for ex. if we played as price and assassinated Shepherd or if some characters were mentioned more such as Alex or Yuri which only got 4 minutes of screen time and was never heard from again and he’s an original character and that’s all he got.
Makarov also bugged me the whole game because he isn’t the same ruthless villain as he was in the original modern warfare series, they made him act like a baby the whole game. This game had a bunch of potential and they just threw it in the trash.

I never expected to hear you go on a rant, but it's deserved, MW3 lured us all in because there were those who enjoyed the story and wanted to see where it would go next, then there was those who enjoyed the multiplayer or spent time into the multiplayer and MW3 allowed us to carry over out stuff from MW2 onto MW3, which was something new and cool for the franchise and we expected that it was going to be a brand new game and I'll admit, like you, I was blinded, I saw the price tag and I just didn't care, the trailers looked great, the story looked great and the multiplayer looked great, hell, Zombies, a mode that I very rarely play, looked like fun.
Now, sure, there's missions that I like in the campaign, even two of the open missions, but the story was just worse than disappointing and ended at the worst moment and what's funny is that people have done videos on fully rewiting the game or just simply rearranging the levels and infinitely make it a better campaign, not a great one but better than the one we got.
I also forgot that we'll likely get the next MW game in a couple of years as Black Ops is rumoured to get the same treatment as the Modern Warfare series and have another game after Black Ops 6, likely Black ops 7 and that's if Sledgehammer isn't given a chance to have their own game again after Black Ops' two games.

No you’re correct. That game was straight GARBAGE holy heck, I understand we can’t compare it to the original trilogy back in the day. That one was on another level especially with the score and characters from that time. But this one you could tell they did not give a single fuck and just threw it together, matter of fact as you stated the first mission you could tell a lot of time was spent with the build up and overall feel on what it was “ suppose “ to be. Then it went straight to the dumpster.

MWII the reason for me is far better MWIII coz the gun play is so good not just they want add realistic elements in game , gun game feel real like u have to learn to use a real gun not used a airsoft gun. MWIII gun like no recoil and the gun model even more worst MWII, gun model of MWII is very close to there real life than what we have in MWIII. The reason both game to me feel bad is they destroy all the gun in the game just like in MW2019.
