I always thought Metalhead was a cool character. I liked his figure and love the Neca toon version. And he was a boss in some tmnt games due to being a villain til saved my Donnie. He never made me think of Robocop but the robot cop in the og toon definitely did. He reminded me of the evil robot version of he-man, faker. Or like other robot versions of characters some franchises do
@@TheTurtleNexus Oh that's great and my birthday happens to be in June and the reason I asked is cuz I ordered the NECA figures on Kapow Toys for a half price deal and I'll look forward to the video soon.
The story is interesting for its inspiration. But he's still not one of my favorite characters. I'm curious to see what Metalhead will be like in the next series (which with the action figures they showed there will be). I just hope he gets created by Donnie, who turns out to be tech savvy. One of the few things I didn't like about the movie was how they rendered the turtles. First of all Donnie who from a super inventor has become a "simple" Otaku.
It's probably going to be a similar origin. I wouldn't worry about the Turtles not being experts at this point in that adaptation, I think that's the point of it, for them to have character arcs. At least, that's what I think they are doing.
Thanks for watching!
How would you have expanded his role in the show?
2012 Mikey: "Let's call him Metalhead! Why, you ask? Because it's got a head and it's made of--"
2012 Leo: "We get it..."
He’s now a akedo warrior who I don’t have yet never seen it before so I’m going to give him a shot and collect it
Great video! I loved my Metal Head action figure and still have it! 🤘🏼🍻
Total missed opportunity for Rise Of The TMNT to give us Shelldon 3.0 with the Battle Mode from Rise Part 2, and nickname him “Metalhead.”
Metal head is tuff as steel

Great video and I’m so glad to get a NECA figure and hope you might do a video on dirtbag and groundchuck in the future?
Thanks! Groundchuck and Dirtbag are 100% coming in June (the video is already finished).

Thanks for the video ❤

Are you planning a video on the Foot Elite? The Foot with the nice hats?
Not exactly, but they'll be in a couple of videos that are coming up in the next weeks.
I wonder about that turtle bot in the 2003 series as this version of Metalhead and can you do the IDW Metalhead as well.
I think the 2003 Turtlebot is more like the Mirage Turtlebot.
IDW's Metalhead is in the list.

5:55: Issue?
That's the April special (2024).
METALHEAD IS THE DEFINITION OF BEING "PROGRAMMED TO KILL, REPROGRAMMED TO PROTECT" TYPE ROBOTIC TURTLE, LOL! 🤖🐢🥷📺🎬🎥👍🤣
Yep. Have you seen the new series? I loved it, but you can only watch it entirely on Paramount+ 😢 (I saw it through reactions on UA-cam
