Anthony Ruggiano Jr. is a former member of the Gambino crime family, which is one of the five families of organized crime in New York City. He is the son of Anthony "Fat Andy" Ruggiano, who was also A Capo, a high-ranking member of the Gambino family. Anthony Ruggiano Jr. has been involved in various criminal activities, including extortion, loan sharking, and racketeering. However, it is important to note that engaging in criminal activities is illegal and not condoned by any reputable organization or individual.
The Copa Cabana Club, located in New York City, was a renowned nightclub that gained popularity in the mid-20th century. It was opened in 1940 by Monte Proser, a well-known entrepreneur and nightclub owner. The club quickly became famous for its vibrant atmosphere, live entertainment, and glamorous clientele.
The Copa Cabana Club attracted a diverse range of patrons, including celebrities, socialites, and even mobsters. Its popularity was largely due to its top-notch performances by renowned artists, such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. The club also featured Latin music and dance, which added to its unique appeal.
The Copa Cabana Club's success can be attributed to its ability to provide an unforgettable experience for its guests. It offered a luxurious setting, impeccable service, and a lively ambiance that made it a hotspot for entertainment and socializing. The club's reputation as a place to see and be seen further contributed to its fame.
Over the years, the Copa Cabana Club became an iconic symbol of New York City's nightlife and entertainment scene. It remained a popular destination until its closure in 1973. Today, it is remembered as a legendary establishment that played a significant role in shaping the city's cultural history.
Anthony's father, Fat Andy Ruggiano was a member of the Gambino crime family, one of the "Five Families" of the Italian-American Mafia in New York City. He was known for his involvement in various criminal activities, including loan sharking, extortion, and racketeering. - Розваги
Currently this man is providing the best mob related content online today., hands down. Thanks Anthony!
Agreed
Always a good day when Andy puts up a new one.
ozone pizza is definitely off the charts, upside down sicilian
You do have the greatest stories. You need a movie of you life, it would trump any mob movie made.
😅
A sitdown with any one of those 3 will be a treat.
I just love listening to you Anthony!
Thanks Andy! Much love from SC
You’re becoming the best mafia channel on here Anthony, this guy Jeff is getting full of himself ! Sad
RIP to Tony Bennett, who I'm sure played the Copa.
I actually (and unfortunately) have some bad stories about Tony, through personal experiences of family members of mine… It just goes to show what little we truly know about the big stars out there..
@@Noone6891kl Sorry for just seeing this.. the least scandalous I think I can tell is how a second cousin of mine (a male) was pimped out during the 70s in Lake Tahoe by his scumbag father... Guess who was a regular client?
@@Noone6891kl oh trust me it's not!
Telling you, bison burgers are JUICY!!!
Keep up the great work Anthony. You’ve got me addicted to your stories. Best wishes from the UK
lol. I feel the same way going into the grocery store now & all the damn bread options available.
That was me Pete with the wonderbread trailers. I worked there in the depot at conner st. Bronx. We went on strike they closed. Remember big Becker. He worked the ozone depot.
Another great one Andy
Anthony! I called your helpline to get into treatment. I dont have insurance, could you help me please.
AnthonyRuggianojr@fmail.com It’s been tough as we’ve had so many responses w no insurance but please send me an email.
EXCELLENT ! ! ! all the best Anthony from Louisiana.
Nice to see you again keep the information coming
great story I'm from ENY and ozone park and I worked at the cobcabanna in the early 90 security
Thank you Michael
I see that new video automatic click don't even care what it's about. Great job Anthony.
Would love an episode on Joe Gallo, a consigliere for multiple bosses.
Ritchie "the boot" Boiardo is my guess on the Tony Soprano question.
Vito Genovese’s wife was actually a big backer of the early gay clubs in NYC… many say she had a “lover” who worked at many of the female drag/butch nights!
Got your show off ov seeing you on OC shorts ..v cool to get day to day REAL stories about your era Anthony and your family connections back to the 40/50s congratulations.
Welcome aboard and thank you
Anthony, were you ever proposed and why werent you made?
Heard Costello owned it
Same here
I believe that the inspiration for Tony Soprano was a combination of a couple North Jersey guys. The main one being Vinny “Ocean” Palermo
Vinny ocean
I love the story about your father and your sister and Bobby Darren.
During the time Obama was running for his first term for president i was working at Las Vegas and I became friends with a very well connected older woman that lived there! She showed me pictures of her & Bobby Derrin & Lefty Rosenthal on Bobby's boat out on lake mead, true or false of course I do not know but I mentioned Jimmy Hoffa one day and she told me if the levees at lake mead were to ever break that chunks of Hoffa would be coming thru the sinks and showers toilets on the Thee Old Vegas Strip! She went on to say that Hoffa was thrown off of the back of Bobby's Boat on lake mead!
Anthony,
Great show as always!
Looking forward to you sitting down with Sammy someday…..
Question, why did the Copa close down? Must have been a big money maker….
Thanks,
Mark from Boston
Best content in this YT genre.
Great stories.
Vinny "Ocean". I might add that I've heard (and researched) that Jackie "The Kid" (Det. Partnership) had an inspirational part in creating the character "Tony Soprano". Pretty interesting. Love your videos by the way. Your Pop is up there on my list of the most fascinating figures in the life.
Can’t believe that pic. Gave to show someone
He will get kick out it.
Vinny ocean was the inspiration used for the tony soprano character and i def want a shot at the title I have mafia knowledge for days lol 🫡🙌🏼❤️🔥
I’m reading John Alite book mafia international in it he says fat Andy raised Nicky corozzo, did you guys grow up together?
In county where I'm from sometimes people cooked in the dryer.❤
My favorite pizza is the old Rosa on 69th street in maspeth
Recipe for the sardines sauce, if you mind?... thx
i would love to know the things u saw at studio 54....😎
Back in the '90s. A couple of the books written about John Gotti and even the documentaries that used to come out on A&E all the time stated that the Gambino's were a two faction family. The blue color side answered to Neil delacroch and the white collar side answered to Paul castellano, is this true?
Awesome stories.
Thanks for listening
@@AnthonyRuggiano Ciao, Parri Sicilianu? Grazie pi lu video. Salut!
I worked the MCCNY Law Library when the Pizza Connection came thru the Federal legal/correctional systems back during the late 80s. I showed them all a lot of respect. I sure appreciated all their back up when some dumb ass street urchin inmate acted inappropriately. OC inmates and most of the Colombians were all on my ''favorites'' list.
All the Chefs were Chinese back then. Just like now a lot of Chef's are Latin now
Hey, did you ever meet Margaret "Maggie" Trudeau at Studio 54? Her husband was the Prime Minister of Canada back then. She used to run away to New York to party all of the time. She's also the mom of our current Prime Minister.
Is that JC all the way on the left?
Vinny oceans from the decavacante family
Vinny oceans. That was the inspiration for tony sopranos character.
And yes I’d like a shot at the title. Jason from Youngstown area.
Thanks Should be fun. !
Pauly is the character based on Vinny oceans down to the hairstyle when he was a powerful captain not the boss
Why did it close down?
Anthony i loved the story about taking dates to the copa and signing you dad's name on the bill when you were short of cash. Did your father say anything about it ?
when you get in the mob dothey put record keeping on paper or some device with who with who who dies whatever whose on record with who or is it all recorded in the mind..RocknRollFlat5
DeCalvacante
In 1989 i went to the Ritz to see Meatloaf play and during one of his songs he reached down to where i was standing in the front row and pulled me up on stage with him and i sung with him for a few seconds before the bouncers kicked me off stage, great night, RIP Meatloaf and the Ritz
I'd file lawsuit against the government! Taking all the mobs bread and butter... 😂😂 pay day loans/ numbers aka lotto / many others
@Anthony did you have interactions with Nino Gaggi and his nephew Dominick Montiglio ??
Vinny Ocean 😉
Why don’t you put your picture on a shirt?

Vinny oceans
Day old wonder Bread stores . Hostess pies 25 cents each donuts miss thoes Days .
No one can tell you who you should sit down with, but for me pistone doesn't deserve the exposure some people give him. Mr Franzese has had sit downs with Chaz Palminteri. Do you know guys who grew up around the life but didn't enter the life?
Anthony want to open a loan shark office ?? Called payday loans today? You In ?
Vinnie ocean
Did you just give out your own phone number??
Baba Louuuuu !
Wow that story about fat andy and his daughter is GREAT.. you disrespect fat andy treat him like a J O you see how quick tom jones ran back to make that right the next night I love it !!! Your father was the real deal he should have been the boss, and if he wasn’t in prison during johns reign I bet he makes him underboss without a doubt 🤍✌️🫡 thanks for another great story anthony it made my day
Why didn’t you show the pictures with Bobby Darren
Did you know Dominic montiglio? I've seen him in a bunch of documentaries and I read the book murder machine. I get the feeling he wasn't as connected as he claims.
Dom was very connected
