I know both these men for over 30yrs. I knew them when they were living that life. I remember everytime Anthony went to jail. To see the way they are both living today is amazing. They truly are reformed gangsters and are compassionate, loving, giving, caring men and would help anyone they could better themselves. They are completely different people then they were then. They are GREAT fathers and friends. I am very happy they had the opportunity to get a second chance at life. Not all gangsters get that. Some people will never understand or forgive their actions but I also grew up in that life so I understand and are extremely proud of the both of them. Reformed gangsters matter!!! Please be open minded enough so you to can understand that people can change and be the best they can by not repeating the same behavior. It wasn't an easy road for either of these men or their families, but today they are the best people they can be and I am proud to know them both.
Tommy, I'm so glad you said how much it bothered you to comfort a mother or family member after u took a person's life. I don't believe I have ever heard any former wiseguy say these words.
This was brilliant. It was amazing watching two guys who changed their life, not see eachother for 30 years. Then talk like they are at the pub every Friday catching up. Loved this.
This was one of the best and honest mob oriented conversations I've ever heard. I hope this is a 5 part video. You guys are honest unlike others in this genre.
Wow, now that was an awesome conversation. Both you guys reformed your lives. Once that life was gone, the only part of you left was obviously the good part.
THIS IS THE BEST MAFIA STORY I EVER HEARD I FOLLOW A LOT OF GUYS ON YOU TUBE TELLING MAFIA STORY I NEVER HEARD A REAL LIFE STORY LIKE THIS ONE. PLEASE KEEP IT COMING YOUR CHANNEL WILL GROW SO FAST WITH REAL LIFE STORY LIKE THIS ONE SIR
As for changing habits you don't have to have to be an alcoholic or drug user to have to need to change any habits, all you need is the strength to do so.
Excellent guest, you both have interesting stories from that life. I love the line your guest said " If you don't lie to yourself, you could never live that life" Isn't that the truth
Great show Antonio. I have 3 years last December. Great things are happening for you. God had our backs all the time or we would be dead. Your friend flash is a good guy. No wonder you guys are still friends. Most of mine are either in prison or dead. As an indirect result of substance abuse. I am no stranger to NY used to go there often. From childhood to adult hood. Been to yankee stadium more times than fenway. When i got older i use to go on a charter bus with a bunch of party animals. That knew Newyork better than me. I was always told to stay out of the bronx are you kidding best italian deli yankee stadium ... i love New York and can Honesty say i had a blast
Always wondered what happened to the old Americana hotel. We dined at the trattoria at the pan am building. Mama Leone bet a few are gone, can't find them through the maze of buildings
Hi Anthony i noticed in your intro you at the scene of the castellano hit outside sparks can you tell me where i can find that video on your channel please .
What a wealth of mob information, "Anthony!!! Very well spoken my man.... Ya Father was a Old school New York City gangster without question!!!!!! Last of a dying breed for sure.... ✊💪👍💯💯🇺🇸👑✊ 🙏 R.i.p. 🙏🙏
This was pretty outstanding, the honesty. "Flash" is a guy I'd like to hear lots more from. Not to put anyone down, but these two are INFINITELY more interesting than slow-witted shit talkers like Calandra.
A most interesting and actually a very heartfelt podcast. Thank you for sharing that chapter of your life……very fascinating. Thank you for sharing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow you have a son my age , I was born in ‘83 . I like the point you guys made that was justification for your actions . Until I married the best woman of life . I justified so much she cracked me open like an egg and I’m working out a lot stuff I’m not proud of . It’s nice to hear you guys talk about these things . Let’s me know I’m not the only one . I was a f’kn scumbag and loved it . Thank God I changed !
I used to go to Bow Wow all the time as a kid. I dated a girl on Albany Avenue in Brooklyn and used to walk past the Gemini Lounge all the time. I thought the guys in the Gemini Lounge were wannabes. I was so naive.
@@josephsharp5678 would leave my girlfriend’s house in the winter and figure I was going to walk home. I would walk by the Gemini Lounge and I was freezing. I always thought, “maybe I should go in and call a car service”. I didn’t do it, because it was never a good idea to walk into a bar where nobody knew me. I wanted to avoid nasty drunks. I would tie my hood on tight and walk as fast as I could. In about 5 or 6 blocks, I wasn’t cold anymore. Later I found out that girls from the neighborhood went there to hang out with gangsters. I don’t think they knew how dangerous that place was. Eventually my girlfriend cheated on me and dumped me and eventually dated my friend. I was devastated. Everything worked out for the best, but at the time, I had no clue.
They certainly don't make Mafia member like they used to. Half them as soon as their caught rat out others so they pay for the crimes and they get off. Whilst some member still keep omerta no matter what others are racing to rat out to save their own skins. Its telling that prison are full of people who stayed quiet and are doing time because of rats. I find it messed up that they feel no shame.
Ant-knee (Brooklyn-Queens speak) and Flash bring me back to my childhood in HB and Oz Pk they way the talk. My family teases me that I "sound- So Queens". I'm proud of it! Tommy Talked about the Big Bow Wow. I had one of my first cold beers 🍻 there 😋 when we got an older kid to buy it for 🇺🇸 us. 11 yrs old!!!!! Great days.. matt
So Sal reale came to colchester Vt. (I grew up in chittenden county) and Reale walks in with pinky rings and a suit and some guy at a gas station asked him if he was in the mafia and he moved after that. This was when he was in witness protection.
Ha ha. I love it...he just couldn't help himself; right? He WAS GONNA WEAR HIS RINGS!!!!! DAMMIT. Talk about dead giveaways???? Thats like walking in on a man eating Lasagna on Thanksgiving or a man eating Chinese food on Christmas Day!!! Italian and A Jew - guaranteed Dead Giveaway...ha ha. Matt
Great interaction between these two. I have only one complaint. Flash should let Anthony talk rather than stepping over conversations. Its sometimes hard to follow.
I was born in 1975, so being 17 in 1992 when the date came out the first thing I said to myself was, how did he get caught on tape knowing that they were out for him. Then they always say if you get caught on tape, you’re a rat. It was just insane to me to actually hear John Gotti on tape talking the way he was.
