Would suggest two nice books: 1. Good Habits Bad Habits (The science of making positive changes that stick) by Wendy Wood 2. Hooked (How to build habit-forming products) by Nir Eyal
...so you're in the same place as Jana Jinton and Lena Blakeley? That's really cool! Not to mention Agnetha Fältskog and the late Marie Fredriksson. I wonder if I could ever be annoyed if I were surrounded by such cool people, and possibly one of them. Something about your seeming annoyed in your more or less idyllic world make me feel a little less so. A question occurred to me also: Do bikes not get stolen there, or do electric bikes not need to be chained?
Two books that help me feel better and get motivation: * The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale * The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz The first one is an axiety killer, the second one brings me the feeling that I'm on the right path The heat makes me feel this way too, I think it's OK to feel annoyed sometimes, but feeling guilty about it makes it worse, do not forget to be kind to yourself! Great video btw
Have you read naked statistics? It's def for beginners but at least in my opinion it's easy to read 😅 anyway thanks for recommendations, I was already following Cassie since you mentioned her some time ago and now I also subscribed to damsel in data ❤️
Hi, I really enjoy these monthly videos, so many good tips and shares. I was wondering if you (or anyone) have some recommendations about how to get better in understanding and explaining code (maybe generally how things work)? I'm a buddy for some of our new hires and find out that I really suck at explaining how our codebase works 🙃
I think practice practice practice is what works for me! It’s really hard to do live coding interviews, so just practicing talking through the code and the decisions you make is helpful for me 🙂
@@AnastasiaKVL Thanks, that's actually a good idea to practice coding interviews! I've never done such thing, potentially a good source for inspiration!
This is really great that ukrainian girl works as Data Analyst and gather in one person so many interesting things! It`s really unusual :) wish you luck !
Question out of topic, really need your opinion. I have the opportunity to pass DMBOK Associate certificate. As a Data Scientist, will that be useful? Thanks in advance ♥️ P.s. Love your chanel and the way you explain professional part is so undesirable and easy. Thank you for that 👍
Hard to say since I don't know your situation, level of fundamental knowledge, how much time you have to invest into this and how would it help your career aspirations. Probably there are more useful areas to study, like Statistics, SQL, python or R programming, distributed and scalable data management systems, etc. However, depending on your situation DMBOK could be useful too. The answer is: I don't know :)
@@AnastasiaKVL Thank you soooo much for your answer, I appreciate it a lot! Currently I am an intern Data quality specialist (because I just started it's all I could find for a job experience) and want to become a Data Scientist like you. I already work with Oracle SQL, I know stats and Python on average level (nympy and pandas). I just wanted to know if I should spend my time on that or more data science direction and I think I will choose second one) Once again, thank you
Hey, I really love the format of your videos, the idea of blending some vlog/lifestyle and educational/inspirational content works really well! always looking forward to your monthly book recommendations:) have you thought of setting up some sort of a book club? greetings from a fellow female data scientist from the other side of the Baltic pond 🇵🇱 :)
Hi Anastasia! I was researching about women in data careers and I stumbled across your channel and I can't tell you how much your videos have helped me understand data science in the real world! I want to work in data science too but I don't know what major to take in Uni, would you mind sharing what major you took to get to where you are? Thank you!! You are such an inspiration
Annoyed?? We are human! Don't feel wrong or guilty! It happens even if your life is great. I am rarely bothered, but when it happens I accept it. I accept that something is out of my control... out of control, isn't it?! Anyway ... thanks for your valuable suggestions, I'll follow Cassie Kozyrkov! Have a nice day and ... ciao!
This is a beautiful video, Anastasia. Love these kinda videos. I had to come to Uppsala, Sweden this year but I think I have a bit of bad luck. This was my second time applying for a Master's in Sweden and I am unable to come. It's kinda heartbreaking.

I just bought the book Noise last week! I would want to hear your full review on it. Have you checked out The Signal and The Noise by Nate Silver? I also use my bike more frequently this pandemic. Great video of your day, Anastasia! 😍🤓🥰 PS. This makes me want to visit Stockholm. Looks nice.
Immediately clicked in instance i saw it out. I followed your book recommendations so far i loved tactfulness. The being annoyed is also a struggle for me too. I hope u ll share if u find asolution
Hey Anastasia, I am really enjoying your content lately! Mainly for your recommendations, referring to the sources instead of retelling what you've learned from then, like so many other channels do. Picked up Fackfullness as well, make sure you add an affiliation link next time, as I would love to support you this way.
Hey, Anastasia! I liked your video, thanks!!! I'm totally curious to know what was the reflexion on the glass door. Please, it's looked like a bird, but I'm not sure about... Do you know??? Thank you for your content. I've really enjoyed it. 🥰🥰🥰 Kisses from Brazil
Being from the south (east) of Europe getting annoyed with things is part of my essence. So learning how not to do that was my greatest challenge after moving to Sweden. After 5 years I am still not cool as a cucumber but I am very far from the hot-headed mess I was when I moved here. So, just hang on there, it will happen one day :) I can recommend Misbehaving by Richard Thaler. I am not an economist but I read it extremely quickly. Thaler has nice witty humour that makes it easy to read. Plus, I see it more as a book about human behaviour and psychology rather than an economics book. The name of Daniel Kahneman pops up a few times in the book :)

Please create new videos every week. I love your content!
Just found your channel. I like you, I really like you. I would enjoy working with you, not intimidating, welcoming, etc.
P.S. Cassie is awesome!

Bikes get stolen, all bikes are usually locked, but that doesn't help

not yet, but it's in my backlog!
